The document describes how to set the submission period and results release date for Turnitin assignments in Moodle. After selecting the Turnitin assignment, the start, due, and post dates are displayed. The start date is when students can first submit papers. The due date is the last day students can submit unless late submissions are allowed. The post date is when students can view grades, and must be on or after the due date. Users can click edit to change the dates by selecting new hours, minutes, dates, months, and years. Both the due date and post date need to be changed together. After completing the changes, the system returns to the summary page with the revised dates.

After logging in to Moodle and having selected the course, e.g., Demo Course, click on the Turnitin Assignment
of which you want to revise the date for submission, and the date that the report and grade are to be released.
In this case, click on Assignment 1 Learning Strategies.

On the Summary page, three different dates are shown.

Start Date is the earliest date students can submit their papers.

Due Date is the last date students can submit their papers unless late submission is allowed.

Click the Edit icon ( ) to revise the dates.

In this case, we change the due date to 20th November.

Since Post Date must be the same as or later than Due Date,
we have to change the Post Date to 20th November as well.

Lastly, click on the Complete icon ( ) to finish.
