After you have logged in to Moodle, click on your name at the top right hand corner of the screen to start writing your blog.

Then click the Blog tab.

To start blogging, click on the Add a new entry link in the middle or in the Blog Menu on the right side of the screen.

You must enter a blog title, for example, “Blog in Moodle” in the Entry title field.

You can then start typing in the content in the text box provided.

Make use of the HTML editor to format your content if necessary.

You can add a file to your content. Click on the Browse... button next to Attachment.

Select the file you want to upload. Then click on the Open button.

The file will be uploaded to your blog post when you publish your content.

If you want to keep your content private, set the Publish to field to Yourself (draft).

If you allow all users to view your content, set the Publish to field to Anyone on this site.
You can change this option anytime, even after you have published your blog entry.

You can add tags to your post so that people can easily access your post by the tags. In this case, add “Moodle, Blog”.

Finally, click on the Save changes button to publish your blog entry.

You can click on Edit at the bottom of your post if you want to modify it.

Now, let’s click on the View site entries link to view the blog posts published by other users on Moodle.

You can now see other users’ posts on Moodle.You may click on a blog tag to access the posts that use that tag.

You can change the number of blog entries per page at Blog preferences in the Blog Menu.

By default, the number of entries is 10.

Change the number, say to 50, then Click on the Save changes button. Then the number of blog entries per page is changed.

If you want to view all blog posts published by the course participants, simply click the View course entries link in the Blog
Menu on the right hand side of the screen.
