employees often need to connect to internal private networks from home, hotels, airports, etc. A
solution for this problem is using a virtual private network (VPN), which is a network that uses
public network paths, but maintains the security and protection of private networks. Secure
communication is expensive, but VPNs allow organizations to have a number of discrete
communication services for a large amount of clients. It is cheaper to have a copious amount of
virtual networks on a couple physical devices than having a copious amount of physically discrete
devices accomplishing the same objective.
Methodology
VPNs transmit data through secure tunneling. A packet is first encapsulated in a new packet with
a new header and then sent through the tunnel, which is normally IPSec, L2TP, PPTP, or SSL.
Both points of the tunnel need to support the protocol used. To provide access to the internet, the
packet with a private IP address can be sent inside of a packet with a global IP address. For

In the complex society of this day and age, homelessness is an ever growing epidemic; People can
become homeless for many reasons: losing a job, addiction to drugs and mental illness. People
drive or walk past a homeless person every day without thinking ever about the predicament of that
individual or they may even unintentionally turn their heads the other way in repulsion.
Homelessness can be defined as an individual or a family whose has a main nighttime dwelling
that is a public or private place not designed for or normally used as a regular sleeping
accommodation for human beings, including a car, park, abandoned building, bus or train station,
airport, or camping ground, doorway or alley sidewalk. Any given night in Portland there can be
upwards of 4000 people sleeping on the streets in homeless camps, shelters, or under the bridges,

Although not sold in its original form at our common grocery stores, we normally see the flavor
being used in teas and smoothies. Then there was the mangosteen. It is another purple fruit. It is
creamy and citrusy with a hint of peach. Second to last is the Lychee. This is a common Asian
fruit that is small and white in the inside and has a grape like texture when eaten. Lastly was the
Durian, sadly the worst one of them. It has hard spiky husk that needed to be cracked opened. I

seating preferences are affected by physical similarity in strangers. The researchers proposed

This helps me to strive and search for more sources for the research. All of the challenges that I
faced helps me to improve and develop skills. Even though I didn t make the right decision for the
survey nevertheless I still learnt something from it. Despite of that it doesn t affect my findings
about my research. I made a right decision in doing an interview through email than no one to
interview and focus only on internet base materials.
Evaluate the Quality of the Research Outcome
The outcome of my research is based on primary and secondary sources. However, the primary
sources only answered some question that s why most of the research is based on secondary
sources. Even though, the outcome is mostly based on secondary sources, it is definitely
appropriate to my topic. Most of my secondary sources were authors of an article who interviewed
professionals such as doctors and psychologist. One of them is a psychologist and published her
own book. Upon having my outcome mostly internet based this doesn t affect the quality of my
outcome.
The interview and survey that I have conducted supports the secondary sources. The interview is
conducted through email due to location and busy schedule. I interviewed a Dr. Bernard Carney a
plastic surgeon and Taylor the CEO of CAPS

Genre Review
The song I chose for this assignment is Stayin Alive, a disco song performed by the Bee Gees in
1977. The Bee Gees, a successful disco band, was composed of three brothers whose achievements
include releasing six consecutive number one hits on the Billboard Hot 100.
Disco, the genre of the selected song, is characterized by many different influences and is
considered to be a melting pot of various genres as disco borrowed from soul, jazz, Latin, funk, and
classical music to create a unique yet explosive new style of music. Originating in the early 1970 s
with some of the ingredients used in Motown, disco enjoyed massive success until about the early

Synthesizers were also commonly used in disco to provide background while solo lines and
harmonies performed with various brass instruments accented the songs. Generally, the primary
themes of disco lyrics are about love, sex and or dancing although some songs did not fit this
mold. Many disco artists often sang in a high pitched falsetto voice, which was labeled as weird
or effeminate as most disco artists were males and males were expected to fit their stereotype.
This song fits this genre perfectly as the the theme of Stayin Alive is about how the artist can
escape the hardships of his life and forget about everything when he is out on the dance floor. This
song is perfect example of how disco helped people express themselves through dancing especially
when they were struggling in life, a theme that anybody can relate to no matter who they
