1. Turning Point
There are multiple vital steps in developing a strategic plan. In review, the purpose of Turning Point to engage in strategic planning is to develop a way
to adequately help a larger amount of women experiencing victimization. The current development of this strategic plan has already distinguished
Turning Points mandates, mission, strengths, weakness, and more. Therefore, the following steps in the expansion of the strategic plan for Turning
Point will require the organization to build off of these already identified mechanisms. Furthermore, the following sections in this paper will discuss
strategic issues facing Turning Point, plans to manage these issues, an effective vision for the future, ways to implement strategies and plans
successfully,...show more content...
A vision serves as a clear description of what the organization should look like as it successfully implements its strategies (Bryson, pg 271).
Moreover, in developing a vision of success for Turning Point it is vital to focus on the future and provide an inspirational purpose of the
organization (cite). Turning Point's vision of success is outlined in the following paragraphs. Currently one in three women are victims or survivors of
intimate partner violence and one in six women fall victims of attempted or completed sexual assaults (cite). The mentioned statistics only serve as a
glimpse to the amount of women who are victimized. These traumatic experiences lead to complex situations that many women do not know how to
deal with. Turning Point strives to develop ways to adequately help as many women as possible deal with these experiences, such as the issues
previously mentioned. This help is fostered in a magnitude of ways and includes providing counseling for women, a shelter, a safeâplace, and much
more. This process also involves uplifting women and informing the community of how frequently violence against women is. Not only is Turning
Point providing women with hope and resources they need, they are also speaking out on violence that occurs against women. As we further into our
strategic plan, our vision becomes more clear that we are not only helping a larger number of women, we are essentially focused on building gateways
to better societies by educating people on the violence against women and fostering victims into

2. Tipping Point
Every society has a tipping point, also referred to as their peak. It makes you wonder, have we reached our peak? As a society have we found the
tipping point, and will we proceed to go past that point? There are numerous scholarly journals that support each side of the debate. Some say he
have, others would disagree. The research has led me to believe that perhaps, yes, we have reached our limit. Even further, we might continue past our
tipping point and begin our decline in stability and world health. With massive price increases in farming our major crops, population growth
skyrocketing, and most systems being over used or overloaded we are beginning to find the outlines of the peak of our existence. Information will be
presented to support...show more content...
The topic everyone hates to talk about! The issue? Increases in the production of carbon dioxide due to increases in both population growth and motor
transportation, tied in with deforestation, are the main causes of rising global temperature. The efficacy? In the last 50 years the global temperature
has increased roughly one and a half degrees. That does not seem like a large increase, however, when talking about the global temperature even a
dramatic change of a couple of degrees can have massive effects on climate and wildlife. If you look back even further on a global temperature map
you can see that in the last 150 years, during global industrialization, global temperature has increased dramatically. The increases in temperature also
has analogous effect on water levels, as the global temperature increases, so do our water levels. "Our scenario evaluations show that expected
changes in temperature, precipitation, and sea level could significantly alter important ecological functions. All of our wildlife indicators were
negatively affected by scenarios with less rainfall and more evapotranspiration." (Catano, 2015.) Christopher Catano is a researcher that is studying
the effects of global temperature change on Florida's estuaries and wildlife. Catano says, "Using projections of climate scenarios for the year 2060, we
evaluated how several possible futures could affect wildlife populations (wading birds, fish, alligators, native apple snails, amphibians, threatened and
invasive species) across the Everglades landscape and inform planning is already underway." (Catano,

3. Four Point Line Analysis
Have you ever shot a 4 pointer season. before not that i think you have. the3 point line is 22 feet there can be deeper three points shots. Making them
around 25â30 feet, More challenging shooting contests with the 25â30 foot shots will be more difficult and challenging. In the scenario of a down 4
play with the clock winding down the possibility of a tie. this would be a game changer if it was possible today. Deeper three point shots, i think this
is a reason for the four point line because most nba shooters like stephen curry in the 2015â2016 nba season he shot 46.7 percent from 30+ foot shots.
Another point is the option to shoot from deeper instead doing it if you want to. And with the deeper three pointers players will be harder to

6. The Tipping Point
In The book The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell the narrator takes us back to when he did a test on people. The test was, how many names of
people they are friends with. This information the reader gathered from this section, will help them infer that the author will use what he has learned
somewhere else in the book. You can also infer that this information will help you understand what the author is saying.Like when he explaned " On
the test to see how many people know each other the scorer where 9â108 this means..." Later in that section he explained how the people did so well,
and how people with higher incomes get more friends. When the author told us about the test it help me understand this chapter more fully.
