Others decided not to help due to no need - you self organized Lessons of the game: – Leadership functions by announcing your intention and following through – It is a plain, natural behavior, which requires participation of all actors in the group and good cross-communication. And here is what is the magic: anybody can be a leader (and a follower)!

What do we know about servant leadership Serving the team Managing products - not people Remove Impediments Trust people to do what they do best Calling – it is your inner instincts – desire to sacrifice self interest for the benefit of followers Listening – Need to be Active listener – give value to followers suggestion and queries Empathy – walking into the shoes of another one Healing – Helping followers getting back from difficult situation Awareness - in terms of bigger picture

  10. 180 teams interviewed over a period of 2 years (starting 2012) No patterns to be found !? - No correlation between successful and non-successful teams !? No clear insights from looking into personal friendships, strong management, team structure, personal interests, gender etc. ??!!?? Group norms were found to be key to success in a team
