the keyboard family. The orchestra that was playing during the opera did include
instruments from the keyboard family, and instruments from the families listed
above. There were times during the show where I could very easily tell what
instruments were playing, but then again on the other hand, there were times when I
had no idea. I could tell/hear when a violin was playing because I use to play the
instrument. I could also tell when the keyboard was played, and instruments from the
percussion group, because they have clear distinctive sounds that are easily
recognized.

For centuries men have been finding ways to gain control over everything and
everyone. One group that has been oppressed by men throughout history are women.
Men have placed rules and regulations upon women making them seen as unequal
and inferior. Was it fear? Was it the hunger for power? Was is the highness of
superiority? Whatever the reasons were, men had to be seen as the highest being next
to whom they worshiped. In the play Antigoneby Sophocles, the audience is exposed
to the roles of men and women in an ancient Greece society known as Thebes.
Although ancient Greece was a male dominant society where women had as much
freedom as a slave, Sophocles main character in the play, Antigone, is an example of

Swan Dance Analysis
1.The most interesting thing that I saw from the video about the pointe shoes. I
had not realized how personalized and specific each dancer s shoes were. It was
interesting that a dancer can feel in her shoe when the maker made a minor change
or mistake. The dancer who is talking throughout the clip mentions how she sews
her own shoes. I would think that would be difficult, but she said it only takes
about 5 minutes. I was also surprised to learn that the dancers go through one pair
of shoes per day and would also use a new pair for performances. The amount of
money that the New York City Balletspends on shoes per year was quite a lot, at half
a million dollars.
Another interesting thing I found was how many types of dance there are. Through
the reading I learned that there multiple types of ballet. It was easy to see the
differences in the ballets in the video clips. For example, the Joffrey Ballet dancers
had a much more contemporary style than the dancers from Swan Lake. The Swan
Lake dancers were classic ballet and they told a story with their movements. Joffrey
Ballet did not tell a story but made Prince s music even more interesting. Their dance

Shoplifting was not confined to specific gender, race, age, or social class. The typical
shoplifter was, however, disproportionately young and female. Because they were
young, they tended to be unmarried, unemployed, and less educated. As a group, they

likely as a group to commit future shoplifting offenses than were those who had been
detained by store security personnel and released. The arrest rate for both groups

Chesapeake, Virginia was governed by a royal charter until 1624 and Maryland
was a proprietary colony which gave the Calvert all the right to appoint governors

CSS PHYSICAL FITNESS ASSESSMENT (PFA). Cycle 2 of 2017 PFA will
commence 13 NOV 17 at 0730 and end 17 NOV 17 at 0730. All medically cleared

to medical for clearance. If a medical waiver is required, print NAVMED 6110/4

the lead in modernizing its Navy College and Voluntary Education programs,
ensuring Sailors have the same opportunities as their civilian counterparts. The goal
is to provide online access and support to Sailors pursuing voluntary education at the
