We used Final Cut Express for editing our film because we were familiar with it from a preliminary exercise. We employed different effects in Final Cut Express to emphasize different shots, such as an extreme close-up. We wanted our film to be creative and not simplistic, so we experimented with features of Final Cut Express. We believed this would make our film more interesting and attract our target audience.

2. We knew that we were going to Final Cut Express
because we used it in our preliminary exercise.
This meant that we felt comfortable with using it.
We made sure that we used different effects to
emphasis different shots. For example our
extreme close up of Rebecca’s eye.

3. These decisions were made because we did not
want our film to be too simplistic. We wanted to
be creative with our product and experiment with
different things Final Cut Express had to use. We
knew that by doing this it would make our film
incredibly better, and it would also attract its
target audience by just making it look more
interesting.

4.  Google Blogger:
We used Google blogger to store our group and individual work. The
work on our blogger consisted of the planning and production of our
film.
 Facebook:
We used Facebook as a way of reaching out to the public. We needed
people to undertake our questionnaire and Facebook was the easiest way
of reaching out to our friends all at once.
 The Use of Cameras
We used HD cameras to film our final product. These cameras allowed us
to manually handle the pulling focus and change the look of each scene.
They were very easy to use and the tripods allowed us to handle the
cameras very well.
 Final Cut Express
We used Final Cut Express to finalise our editing. By using this we were
able to focus on the sounds and the expressionism to conform to the
conventions of supernatural horrors.

5.  The successful uses of technology in our product, we were
the use of Final Cut Express. It is a software that I was not
familiar with but after practising the use of it in our
preliminary exercise and our main task, I have seen the
significance of using it. Alongside that, I think that the HD
cameras have proven to be successful because they are easy
to use and now I am confident to film with them.
 What was less successful
The less successful use of technology was the use of Facebook,
not many people responded to our Facebook advertisement.
