2. Looking back at our preliminary task, I have clearly developed my knowledge
and understanding of technologies in creating our film. Starting from knowing
how to use a camera and finishing at how to create a moving ident. I have also
developed my knowledge in the marketing and distribution of our media
product thought my own personal research Here is an example of a skill I have
developed in some way. Looking back at our preliminary task, it took us about 5
weeks to edit everything and put it together to create a final outcome. Whereas
the final project took us 2 weeks to edit, without a hassle we did it exactly how
we wanted. There is such a big difference between 5 and 2 weeks. The
preliminary task allowed us to have a trial run of how to edit and put everything
together before the main task. Rendering was the most important part of the
editing process, without this our film would not be edited consistently.

3. Blogger is one of the media platforms I have used in this
project. In fact, this was the main thing I had to use. Blogger
was used to present my work progress, this is also where I
have uploaded all my notes and research. Using Blogger was
a new experience for me, as it was the first time I actually
participated in a blog. It’s a new skill I have learnt. How to
write a post, how to change the layout of the post and how to
upload the post.
I used Facebook to distribute and
advertise our final product. I have
created a page for our film, where I
have posted a picture of the film poster
I have created and our final product. I
have decided to use Facebook to gain
likes and feedback from others. Most of
my friends are the age of 16+, which
means that our film would reach it’s
target audience just like we planned it
to, and Facebook allowed us to do so.
We have used YouTube to
distribute our film to our
audience. As YouTube has a
wide audience. YouTube was
one of the media platforms to
gain feedback from our target
audience and not only.

4. Final Cut Express is the program I have used to edit our film.
However before I got to use this program I had o use Adobe
Premiere CS5 to edit our preliminary task. The program kept
crushing and our saved changes were deleted each time.
Final Cut Express at first was a hard software to use, but after
some time it became a lot easier to use. We could easily edit
and change, the format, the colour scheme, pretty much
everything, to achieve what we wanted in the final product.
I have used adobe illustrator to
create our film poster. It was very
easy for me to do as I have had
previous experience.
Dafont.com is a website
with millions of different
fonts created by
different users. I used
this to download the
most appropriate font
for me to create our
poster.

5. We have used the Nikon
d3200 camera to shot our
film, and take some stills
thought filming. This
camera allowed us to
record a high quality
moving image.
We have used Apple Mac Pro
computer on which we have
practically done everything
we had to do in order to edit
and upload our main film to
YouTube.
I have also used my personal
computer at home, to work on
my media project, also for doing
research and post things to my
blog. My phone was also very
useful, to take pictures of how
our filming process went.
