How Does La Contessa Respond To Isolation
The Sorrows of Unopposed Isolation Companionship is something all humans will encounter
throughout their lifespan, whether it be genuine or false. A genuine companion is one who offers
advice and support with positive and selfless intent. A bogus companion may offer advice and
companionship, but seeks some sort of disguised self benefit or is ashamed of the relationship. In the
Enlightenment novel, The Sorrows of Young Werther by Goethe and in the Baroque opera Le Nozze
di Figaro by Mozart, a theme of isolation due to lack of companionship is prevalent. The main
characters, Werther and La Contessa respectively, respond to isolation differently, resulting in a
different outcome for the two. Ultimately, the character of La Contessa ended up better off than
Werther because of how she responded to isolation. Based upon their response to isolation, I argue that
when no genuine companion is present, it is better for a person to pursue or accept bogus
companionship rather than no companionship, despite the circumstances that lead them to the isolated
state. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Werther, the protagonist, is obsessed with Charlotte, the main female character. Together, they form a
genuine companionship, spending time together and offering advice to one another. Despite their deep
connection, such as when they bonded over Klopstock, Charlotte rejects Werther romantically, as she
is already bound to Albert. Due to Werther s all in or all out mentality, when rejected by Charlotte
romantically, he first becomes obsessive and, due to Charlotte s steadfast rejection, chooses to isolate
himself from her completely. By removing Charlotte from his life, he had no other companions to turn
to other than Wilhelm, a character with whom he corresponded with only through

Implementing A Debt Education Program
An Alternative Solution to Fit Our Goals and Utilizing Available Resources
Alternatively, more cost effective options are available, considering that the resources are already at
our disposal. After careful consideration and investigating different options, we need the assistance of
your division to reach as many students as possible, by promoting the tools and services that are
available to assist our student s financial needs.
Student Affairs is appealing to Student Life for assistance because of your already strong relationships
and outreach programs with students. While your department has the reputation of directly involving
students through your events, our section finds it more difficult to connect with the students in such ...

We are appealing to your division as Student Life is already at the forefront of the student s lives. We
need your assistance to help make our students become knowledgeable about the tools they can use to
manage their finances. Student Life is already involved with our freshman at orientation and we would
appreciate if you can incorporate 15 to 30 minutes into the orientation presentation about what
financial tools and services the university has to offer. We might not want to disseminate too much
information at orientation, as it might seem overwhelming at that point to the students. We only want
to bring these resources to our student s attention, informing them about upcoming events for money
management throughout the year.
We can reach other students that we do not connect with at orientation, through online promotions,
such as Facebook and Twitter, on campus advertising, word of mouth, and events about developing
money management skills. Again, the relevant marketing material is already at our disposal through
CashCourse®, however, we need the assistance of your team to help distribute and advertise the
services.
Facilitating Events:
Another interesting feature through CashCourse® is that they offer scavenger hunts. Student life could
promote the scavenger hunt and assist with the execution of the events. The goal is to help students
become familiar with the program throughout each

Food Famine Research Paper
Many people might believe that global famine exists nowadays just in extremely poor places of the
world and in not so high levels when indeed local level famines have erupted in Sub Saharan Africa,
South Asia and parts of Latin America. Some 795 million people in the world do not have enough
food to lead a healthy active life. That is about one in nine people on earth and the vast majority of the
world s hungry people live in developing countries, where 12.9 percent of the population is
undernourished. Which is even sadder is to think that actually the amounts of food to help solve this
situation exists around the world and instead of been designated to contribute with the cause it is
thrown to garbage. 40% percent of the food that is produced ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

But we cannot only solve this, we can prevent bigger catastrophes, troubles that put in risk the
preservation of the environment. Whenever we dump our food, we lost a big amount of the labor and
natural resources that are used in the elaboration of food, being the last one commonly known as
limited natural resources, such as water, and most of the time, fossil fuels that are used to provide
energy to the different factories that work with food. 40% percent of the food that is produced in the
U.S. never gets eaten (Natural Resources Defense Council). This, of course, brings a lot of
consequences for the environment. Another direct consequence from the food waste is that all the food
that is thrown away with other types of garbage, decomposes without air, which produces high levels
of methane, a greenhouse gas that is even more dangerous than CO2, because it catches even more
heat in the atmosphere than the already mention gas. We can say that this is not only a problem related
to famine, their effects are even deeper that we can

How Did Isolationist Sentiment Influence US Foreign Policy...
As the United States went through two World Wars between 1914 and 1941, isolationist sentiment had
a large influence on US foreign policy. There were many causes for such isolationist beliefs as the era
included many significant changes. The main change that Americans experienced during this time
period was the immense difference in the decades, with a roaring economy in the 1920s following the
first World War and a Great Depression in the 1930s which would end with the start of the second
World War. With such large changes occurring within the lives of Americans during this entire period
of time, isolationist sentiment rose. As such beliefs became widespread, US foreign policy became
influenced by such isolationism. Isolationism meant that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With such events occurring quickly in such a small time period, the second World War came as a
massive shock. Yet again, Americans called for isolationism and neutrality as they believed America
should focus on ending the Great Depression, not worrying about and dealing with the international
issues of other nations and peoples. By analyzing Document 5, it is clear that many Americans still
believe in isolationism during the Great Depression. Bennett Champ Clark states in his Defense of the
First Neutrality Act that the desire to keep the United States from becoming involved in any war
between foreign nations seems practically unanimous among the rank and file of American citizens.
Americans influenced the US foreign policy yet again as the First Neutrality Act was passed in 1935.
By analyzing Document 6, it is clear that President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the choices he made
were still influenced by isolationist sentiment as he states in his Quarantine Speech that it is my
determination to adopt every practicable measure to avoid involvement in war. However, it is clear in
President Roosevelt s speech that he knew that entering the war was inevitable as he states that the
peace of the world and the welfare and security of every nation, including our own is today being
threatened by that very thing (war). Although the United States tried its best to not enter the second
World War for many years, it could not avoided by the end of 1941. On December 7, 1941, Pearl
Harbor was bombed by the Japanese. The federal government s response to this attack can be analyzed
in Document 7, President Roosevelt s Pearl Harbor Address to the Congress of the United States. In
response to the attack, Roosevelt calls for Congress to declare . . . a state of war has existed between
the United States and the

Flickering Shadows in the early days of the clan, Copper is respected by all, but a friend of none he

Cultural Differences In Health Care
While existing in a different cultural may not directly define a level of health status, the intrapersonal
differences within the culture could be considered important (Biddle, 2010). With some cultures
holding levels of connection to the land, this may cause certain communities to seclude themselves to
a particular area, which effects the level of accessibility to health services. There are also apparent
gaps between cultures in terms of employment, as the workplace is predominantly originated out of
non indigenous culture. A lack of employment existing under indigenous cultures leads to less
resources for the individuals to maintain health (Biddle, 2010).
Though rural culture does not exclusively refer to indigenous populations, these populations

When People Talk About The Word “Fashion,” It Automobility
When people talk about the word fashion, it automobility provides a sense of popular styles of
clothing, accessories, and makeup. Fashion influences not only on people s behaviors, but also
influences the society as a whole, such as socially and economically. In Adorned in Dreams, the author
Elizabeth Wilson, introduces that fashion is a form of art, and people can use fashion to express their
ideas, beliefs, and desires. Wilson also introduces the history of fashions in order to prove that people
can use fashion to express different belief systems, social values, and public desires during each time
period. In Subculture The Meaning of Style, Dick Hebdige believes people can use fashion as a tool to
express their beliefs. In this case, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In nowadays, buying luxury brands is not only showing a sign of wealth, but also a kind of rewards for
people s hard working. Luxury products sell high market prices because of their designs, brand names,
and the qualities. People want to buy luxury products because their quality is better than target brands.
For example, the brand like Bottega Veneta is known for its traditional design of leather goods; their
handbags are handmade in Italy. Comparing to Bottega Veneta to target brands, Bottega Veneta s
design will not easily out of style, but target brands will easily out of styles because their designs are
relatively ordinary. However, in the recent year, some luxury brands reputation has gone done because
those brands were shifting their factories to other countries and then shipping back to Italy just for the
label. Technically, the phrase Made in Italy is not really manufacture in Italy anymore, sometimes this
product s qualities are not as good as before. There is a rising concern of whether these luxury goods
really match with the expensive price tags. In Adorned in Dreams, Wilson introduces that people
express their ideas, beliefs, and desires through fashion. It does not matter that people from which
social classes, people would express different belief systems, social values, and public desires through

The Abolition Of Torture By Andrew Sullivan
The Abolition of Torture In this article, Andrew Sullivan, is an advocate for the abolition of torture
against terrorist in the United States. During the time that this article was written, the McCain
Amendment (which banned torture) was on a political limbo. What this author talks mostly about is
the choice that we have to make things right, therefore ban the use of torture against terrorist. This
debate takes place after Bush administration defined torture and permitted coercive, physical abuse of
enemy combatants if military necessity demands it. Also after several reports found severe abuse of
detainees in Afghanistan and elsewhere that has led to at least two dozen deaths during interrogation,
secret torture sites in Eastern Europe and innocent detainees being murdered. Sullivan, argument is
opposite to that of Krauthammer s argument because for him torture, in any form and under any
circumstances, represents the opposite to what the US stands for and it is an impediment to winning a
wider war. Torture is the polar opposite of freedom. It is the banishment of all freedom from a human
body and soul. Human beings, all inhabit bodies and have minds, souls, and reflexes that are designed
in part to protect those bodies and to maintain a sense of selfhood that is the basis for the concept of
personal liberty. What torture does is use these involuntary, self protective resources of human beings
against the integrity of the human being himself. It takes what is most

James Bond Sex And Violence Analysis
Within James Bond s universe, sex and violence are often the same thing.
James gun is used not as an extension of his penis, but as his penis. When in M tells him that he is
going to need a new gun because his old one no longer suffices, Fleming describes Bond s relationship
with his old gun using masturbatory terms, describing how Bond had dismantled the gun and oiled it
and packed the bullets carefully into the spring loaded magazine and tried the action once or twice,
pumping the cartridges out onto the bedspread in some hotel bedroom in Dr. No, (025,), and in a
celebration of pre existent vocabulary Bond can often be seen resting his hand on the butt of his gun.
(CR, 008)
Similarly, acts of violence are described in ways that invite the imagining of sexual acts. In the
testicular torture scene from Casino Royale, where cool Le Chiffre flogs Bond with a carpet beater,
only Fleming chooses to describe Bond s response to the torture rather than the torture itself, and
when reading the responses selectively one might think Bond s body is responding to physical
pleasure rather than pain. Fleming writes, Bond s whole body arched in an involuntary spasm. His
face contracted in a soundless scream and his lips drew right away from his teeth. At the ... Show more

In dealing with men, villains, Bond prefers to use his gun to persuade them ( times when its threat
alone had been enough to save his life) or take them out when persuasion is not an option. When it
comes to women, however, Bond s penis is usually sufficient persuasion. Pussy Galore changes sides
after sleeping with Bond (both on the field of sexual preference and loyalty of service), Vesper Lynd
does too, though rather more dramatically, and for Solitaire her attraction to Bond is the reason she
helps him, and trusts him. He is more of a man than, ironically, Mr Big

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Opinion Mining
The work of a complete review or opinion mining application might involve attacking each of the
following problems. If the application is integrated into a general purpose search engine, then one
would need to determine whether the user is in fact looking for subjective material. This may or may
not be a difficult problem in and of it: perhaps queries of this type will tend to contain indicator terms
like review , reviews , or opinions , or perhaps the application would provide a checkbox to the user so
that he or she could indicate directly that reviews are what are desired. Besides the still open problem
of determining which documents are topically relevant to an opinion oriented query, an additional
challenge we face in our new setting ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Data Collection: In this phase, it is important to get the item of interest, that is, what we actually want
to know the opinion about. It is also very important to remove all facts that don t express any opinions
like news and objective phrases. Here the main focus is on the user s relevant opinions. ii. Pre
processing: The pre processing is also very important phase in order to remove stop words or
irrelevant words from the user s opinions. Our processing system deals only the description part of
each review, here processing means splitting review into sentences to create a plain text file of
reviews. iii. Classification and part of Speech Tagging (POS): The polarity(+ve or ve) of the content

by which tokens are sequentially labeled with syntactic labels, such as Verb or Noun or Adjective .
Not all the words in review sentences are sensibly useful for recognize product features and
orientations of the discussed product. As Hu and Liu recommend, nouns and noun phrases in the
sentences are most likely to be the features that customers comment on, while adjectives are

Efficient Credit Market in the Rural Areas of Deveoping...
Introduction: A great deal of attention has been paid to the establishment of an efficient credit market
in the rural areas of developing countries over past few decades. This has been motivated by the fact
that widespread shortage of finance can act as critical barrier to agricultural growth and development
in rural areas. Lack of supply of credit can make adoption of new production technologies
unaffordable to the farmers and delay the growth in agricultural sector. Accessing formal credit has
always been difficult for farmers as small or no collateral, inadequate foreclosure capability along
with weak reinforcement arrangement in the rural areas of developing countries make them very much
unattractive for commercial banks to engage in any lending activity. This absence of formal credit
market led to the rise of informal credit markets in many developed countries. This was an attempt to
reduce the borrowing constraint that the poor farmers face and to improve the their access to small
loans and deposits. The whole movement got an institutional structure in the beginning of 1980 s
when micro lending institutions such as Grameen Bank from Bangladesh and IRB from Indonesia
showed that providing small loans to the poor individuals in large scale can turn out to be a profitable
venture. In contrary to the donor or government driven subsidized rural credit programs, these
institutions designed a less costly and more efficient monitoring procedure to ensure repayments and

difficult for the bank to compete and gain more customers shares. So, we ve perform a means end

be more efficient. The goal of this means end analysis was to find a way to differentiate from the

We could conclude from that analysis that this means end chain helped us to define a bit more what a
credit card customer is expecting when making the decision to go for a company more than another. If
we have that in mind, then it s much more easier to differentiate the company from the competition
and as a results try to gain market shares.
B) What segments have been neglected?
After having a look at the whole document, and after having analyzed the means end chain, we could
say that some segments have been neglected. Indeed, we talk about all the added value option that we
could actually encounter in a credit card but there isn t any research or data on that. Like what kind of
option are the most wanted (insurance? travellers checks ? no international fees ? etc...). Furthermore,
we could see that we lack some information about the link between the attributes and the benefices.
Indeed, we have then both but we don t really know the relation between them, which makes it more
difficult to do the means end chain.
C) What changes, if any, in the product positioning might be recommended based on the attribute
desired? Do you need additional information?

customers when we are talking about a credit card. Then, we have the

Levinas vis-à-vis the Other Essay
Levinas vis à vis the Other
Philosophy, arising from its Greek tradition of a love of wisdom , seeks to critically examine those
questions most fundamental to humankind; it is concerned with essential concepts (or rather,
questions) of being (metaphysics), rightness and goodness, knowledge, truth and beauty. As a branch
of metaphysics, ontology seeks, in particular, to understand the nature of being (or existence) by
placing objects within categories and organized totalities, while always assuming God as the first
cause (causa sui). (Rebidoux) Yet as most philosophers such as Plato, Aristotle and Descartes each
attest to their distinct definition of being , there is an exception to these ontological contenders:
Emmanuel Levinas. By ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Before evaluating Levinas humanity opening theories, however, it seems necessary to understand the
process by which one can come to know the initial Other. For before the subject can enter into a just,
fraternal relationship with the Other, he must be wholly prepared to welcome its face. According to
Levinas, before encountering the Other, one is in a sleeping state within the Order of Being. Mundane
and superficial, this Order allows only for categorization and objectification of things. At this stage
even animate objects are reduced to their formal properties: a cat, for example, is classified according
to its genus and species, recognized only as one instance of cat ; a human, similarly, is reduced simply
to another instance of humanity. (Rebidoux, 26 Jan 2004)
It is from this state of perpetual sleep, Levinas orders, that one must awaken. Whilst sleeping within
the Order of Being, one is instinctually awoken by the Infinite. This Infinite, according to Levinas, is a
consciousness that occurs in revelation of the transcendence of the Other. (Rebidoux) The Infinite
emerge as an appearance of unending depth that overflows both

Birth Defect Effect
There is no greater disability in society than the inability to see a person as more. Robert M. Hensel
says that, to look at a person with a disability and think nothing more of them is a disability for us.
Birth defects are abnormalities mostly found in infants. There are many issues that come along with
having a birth defect but some can be prevented. Analyzing all that is known in accordance to birth
defects can help us look for more solutions in minimizing birth defect rates. For this reason education
for pregnant women regarding birth defects needs to be more prevalent in the medical community.

Because of all the research that has been done on birth defects, there is now a new technology that
helps the situation in regards to birth defects. One of these technologies is a robot used to aid in
treatment. Researchers at the University of Sheffield, Boston s Children Hospital and Harvard Medical
School developed a robot that is used to aid the treatment of oesophageal atresia (Biotech Week 1).
Oesophageal atresia is a rare genetic birth defect where the upper and lower parts of the oesophagus
don t connect. The research spent on this project shows how important education of birth defects is
important even to doctors and health scientists in order to improve the technology for birth defects.
The more they learn about birth defects and the science behind it, the more developments there will be

robot repairs the tissue inside. Another benefit is that with this robot they are able to improve in the

Gender Stereotypes In The L Word
The L Word in one of the rare examples of a television show that centers itself on characters that fall
outside of the straight male hegemony; this is true from the introductory shots of the show. After doing
a series of setting establishing shots of LA, the camera pans across a typical suburban street, and
image that immediately invokes the idea of the typical mom and with with their kids, American
nuclear family. The next scene introduces the first character, a muscular, straight, white, cis man in a

By allowing the viewer to see this character once again, it gives them a familiar face to identify with.
As Mulvey suggests, most visual media is meant for white men to identify with, this type of character
gives the short allusion that the television show is going to be this same type of experience: a show
directed at straight white men. However, it quickly flips the script on this as the next scene, in which
we receive the shows first dialogue, depicts one of the women from the bed, named Tina, standing in
front of a mirror, looking at an ovulation test. Mulvey writes about what is called the mirror phase,
The mirror phase occurs...with the result that his recognition of himself is joyous in the he imagines
his mirror image to be a more complete, more perfect than he experiences his own body. Recognition
is thus mislaid with mis recognition: the image recognized is conceived as the reflected body of self,
but its mis recognition as superior projects (60). This quote describes a stage of identity in
psychoanalysis in which a child first recognizes themselves in a mirror, and can therefore imagine
themselves as more than a reflection of their mother s face even though the image is a
misrepresentation in it s incompleteness (Mulvey 60). This concept is directly applicable to this scene,
as the character standing in front of the mirror represents a stage of identification for the viewer. By
seeing the character reflected in the mirror the viewer receives a more complete image of her, is forced
into this step of self identification; thus, the audience directly cued that they are supposed to identify
with this character, rather than the male character that was shown

ADHD And Odd Case Study
The main focus of the field placement was on student behaviour in the classroom and how students
with disabilities may cause distractions to the class for several reasons. Evidently, the relationship
between ADHD and ODD contribute to a student s inability to be on task and demonstrate antisocial
behaviour (Matthys and Lochman, 2017, p.3; Hamilton and Armando, p.864). The implications of
ODD on the student s education are significant due to the student s reaction to positive behavioural
management techniques may be met with uncertainty and destructiveness (NDCO, 2010, p.12). In
addition, the students are examined to be argumentative and defiant , they may also deliberately annoy

Therefore, Marcus is increasingly aggressive towards figures that are regarded as authoritarian and a

to be isolated from their peers and are severely disadvantaged in their academic achievements

In an attempt to alleviate symptoms of ADHD and ODD, students that have these disorders are treated
with drugs that contain Lisdexamfetamine dimesylate (LDX) and the most popular known clinical
drug that contains LDX is Vyvanse® (Rowley et al., 2012, p.1064). Although this drug is shown to be

The Blocker Burn Unit At The University Of Texas Medical...
Introduction The Blocker Burn Unit is a six bed Burn Intensive Care Unit located at the University of
Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston. It has a long and storied history of providing innovative
burn care to its patients. The Burn unit was initially founded after a massive explosion in Texas City
Harbor that injured hundreds of people in 1944. Since inception, the unit has dealt with disaster both
fabricated and natural. In 2008, the BBU was one of only a handful of services to remain open and
operational after Hurricane Ike landed and dealt massive injury to UTMB. The BBU not only
sustained operations but also briefly expanded to provide pediatric burn care when Shriners Burns
Hospital was subsequently unable to reopen post hurricane. This paper will detail the realities
confronted by the BBU both currently, and in the future, with an exploration as to those implications
on fiscal outlook and provision of care.
Current Realities of the Blocker Burn Unit (BBU)
Burn Care Hospitals The American Burn Association (ABA) is the accrediting body for burn centers
in the United States. Currently the number of ABA verified centers listed is 64. Other ABA verified
center sin Texas include the Hermann Memorial Burn Unit in Houston, the Parkland Burn Unit in
Dallas, the San Antonio Burn unit at Brook Army Medical, University Hospital in Lubbock and of
course the Blocker Burn Unit and its sister hospital Shriner Burns Hospital for Children in Galveston.

Analysis of The House of Spirits by Isabel Allende Essay
After being accused of being possessed by the devil and visited by her Uncle Marco s dead body,
Clare del Valle began to keep a diary. Fifty years later, her journal was used to solve the puzzle of a
family history. In The House of Spirits, Isabel Allende tells the story of many generations of a family
in Latin America. There are three prominent themes in The House of Spirits by Isabel Allende. First,
the social divide between those who are civilized and those who are supposed barbarians. Second, the
influence of women and their role in society. Third, the clash between social classes.
The first major theme in The House of Spirits is the division between civilization and savagery. The
country in which the story takes place remains ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Every woman in The House of Spirits is a protagonist, who each work in different ways to protect
their rights. Alba, Clara, and Blanca remain the focus of the story, while the men enter through means
of love and marriage. The major events that dominate the story are experiences central to these
women, including childbirth, sexual and physical violence, and abortion. Besides Nivea s devotion to
female suffrage, the women rarely condemn gender inequality for their struggles. Each woman s life
is, however, scarred by this. The women in The House of the Spirits are strong women who do not
submit to mistreatment. The women affect more permanent and extreme changes than any of the men
implement. For example, the men lead revolutions that temporarily collapsed the government, and
soon after those revolutions failed. The women have more exquisite methods. By teaching people to
read and to write and to practice health care, by setting curses, and by refusing to speak aloud
increases productivity in implementing long lasting change in society. For example, when Clara s
husband, Esteban, abuses her, she stops speaking to him. She then restores her maiden name, and
moves out of Tres Marías and back to the city, with her daughter Blanca. However, she preserves a
civil relationship with him until her demise. Acting out violently against Esteban may have been
effective temporarily, but not speaking to him enforced a permanent change in their

Abstract
Compulsive shopping or Oniomania is considered as impulsive control disorder, or an obsessive
compulsive disorder (also referred as overspending, shopping addiction, shopaholic or compulsive
buying) (Walker and Company, 2008). Compulsive shoppers experience a raise and a boost when
making purchases. Frequently, they need to feel better when working against any feeling of
depression, low self esteem, and loneliness they encounter. The purchase brings a momentary joy and
excitement much like the gambler feels when putting his bet. Purchases can be seen like a symbol for
the person s ideal self. According ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Producers are excited to come up with new designs such as futuristic clothes and multipurpose hand
phones, whereas marketers want to make sure that those products can be sold with gaining higher
returns. They use many possible strategies and tactics in order to attract and attain customers. Sales
promotion is one of these famous tactics. Posters and banners are everywhere during sales, and
advertising launched in the radio and televisions to attract local and foreign customers. In addition, for
those who cannot afford to shop, financial institutions are taking advantages also by offering various
type of credit card and charge high interest for it. These tactics can be the reason for costumers to shop
more and it will induce them to buy unnecessary items. For example, in Malaysia, 40% of fresh

Tea Kettle Failure
Nevertheless, their attempts to cool the reactor failed due to a malfunctioned cooling system that had a
possible blockage in the water supply piping or a valve failure. The temperature and pressure inside
the reactor began to rise uncontrollably in a runaway chemical reaction. Inside the reactor the pressure
was still, increasing reaching 400 pounds per square inch and boosting the rupture disc. A good
example of what was happening is to compare it to a tea kettle on the stove. As steam and heats up
within the kettle, it looks for an opening to relieve pressure. When the steam finds that opening it
begins to make the whistling sound which gets louder and louder as the water continues to heat up and
the steam escapes the kettle more quickly.

Law Of Gratitude Essay
8. The Law of Gratitude: The Law of Gratitude plays out similar to the Law of Cause and Effect or the
natural principle of action and reaction. As we look at the law itself, when we express thankfulness to
the God Force for that which we have received (even though it is still in the unseen), it is an
expenditure of force, therefore our gratitude cannot fail to reach God, and when it does the reaction is
an instantaneous move toward you. Consider two properly aligned magnets. They are two forces
moving in opposite directions while moving toward one another. Gratitude draws you and the Creative
Force, God, directly toward each other. If our gratitude is strong enough and consistent then there will
always be a move of that which we are co creating toward us. When the God Force moves toward us it
brings all that it is. The Law of Gratitude also dictates that if our heart is not full of gratitude, then
something else will take its place. Physics teaches that nature will not tolerate a vacuum. That is to say
that if something is removed then something else must take its place. If our hearts are not filled with
gratitude, then our hearts will be filled with ungratefulness. An ungrateful heart will take you from
what you want as rapidly as a grateful heart will take you toward what you want. The Law of
Gratitude nourishes our faith, because as a grateful heart and mind continually expects good things,
expectation becomes faith. This faith then, becomes both the cornerstone and the capstone of what it is

The Effects Of Media On The Media Influences Viewers
Racial Bias in the Media Influences Viewers
Television reaches more consumers for more time than any other source of media. Its use for
entertainment or news is overly influential, persuasive, and authoritative. Through these
characteristics, any type of information or message influences its massive audience. Because of this,
what Americans see or fail to see has a powerful impact on how they view other races. Young children
are especially vulnerable to the information they are exposed to. TV is a vehicle to provide
experiences and information not otherwise available to them. Older audiences, however, are also
vulnerable to the information. Consistent messages about traits and stereotypes of other races
reinforce specific ideas to the adult viewer. Viewers aren t limited to racial bias when other races are
on the screen, but are also susceptible when races aren t included. As a strong and influential tool,
television uses both obvious and subtle racial bias to influence its viewers.
Television is a strong and influential tool. To first understand why television has a strong influence on
its viewer s, it is important to know some basic facts. According to Nielsen s National Television
Household Universe Estimates, there are 116.4 million TV homes in the U.S. prior to the start of the
2014 15 TV season. The number of persons age 2 and older in U.S. TV Households is estimated to be
296 million (Nielsen, 2014). This stat shows the enormous audience that TV and its messages

How Did Michelangelo Di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni
Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni was born in 1475 and he lived till eighty nine years old
in 1564. He is a sculptor, painter and architect, although he expressed his artistry in many media, but
he would always consider himself a sculptor first. [1] Michelangelo s mother died when he was six,
despite his father initially didn t support his interest in art, yet when Michelangelo was thirteen, he
sent him to learn from painter Domenico Ghirlandaio. His talent was discovered by Lorenzo de
Medici, who invited Michelangelo to Humanist academy, and in there he was inspired by the scholars
and writers in Lorenzo s intellectual circle. [2] In there, he was greatly influenced by palatial artworks
and formed neo platonic philosophic ideal. However, in 1494 Michelangelo was banished from

[3] Despite that he created numerous masterpieces, his works demonstrated high level of skills and
innovative content. His style that formed in Florence was exposed to Classical art and humanist
thought. For instance, the paintings on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo painted the
scenes in reverse chronological order, and the complexity of figures presents a relaxed and relived
mood. Besides, he emphasized the power inherited in the human body, especially torso. David is a
example in this case, it represented a state of relaxation and tension, and its proportion is corresponded
more to Hellenistic style than Classical Style. His muscular figures are rendered in exaggerated
contrapposto, which are one of the most monumental images in Western art. [4] On the other hand,
Michelangelo s late style revealed the pressure of patronage on artists during the renaissance. His
anxiety about completing the sculptures is revealed in his work of sculptures and paintings. Many
scholars consider his late style as a mark of the close of renaissance and as part of new Mannerist
development.

Organizational Development can involve interventions in the organization s processes, using
behavioral science knowledge as well as organizational reflection, system improvement, planning and
self analysis. Kurt Lewin (1898 1947) is widely recognized as the founding father of Organizational

1.1 Importance of Organization Development Organizational development takes into consideration
how the organization and its constituents or employees function together. Does the organization meet
the needs of its employees? Do the employees work effectively to make the organization a success?
How can the symbiotic relationship between employee satisfaction and organizational success be
optimized? Organizational development places emphasis on the human factors and data inherent in the
organization employee relationship. Organizational development strategies can be used to help
employees become more committed and more adaptable, which ultimately improves the organization

Psychodynamic Approaches And The Psychodynamic Approach
The purpose of understanding and utilizing a variety of psychodynamic approaches is for the
humanistic well being, in connection with the client using a client centered therapeutic approach. The
reason for using a psychodynamic approach is unveiling the conscious and unconscious mind, from
the client s emotional state of mind. The psychodynamic approach focuses on the beginning stages of
the clients childhood years, typically analyzing events from birth breaking from six years old. The
human mind unconscious and conscious state determines who we are and how we will be from our
past carrying over to our present, and dictating our future. Henceforth, the effects of our state of mind
come from past events in our subconscious mind, which plays a major role in our adult life. As an
illustration, Sigmund Fraud, a psychologist theoretical ordained the importance of childhood events,
which play a major part in our daily lives. The definition of psychodynamic approach is unconscious
thoughts, pressures of society, family events, people s childhood event, and biological forces. A
professional person in the area of psychology must be in tune, with the client using empathy and code
of ethics. For example, the theories are psychoanalysis, analytical, or individual approach which deals
with the person s state of well being.
Second, the therapeutic sides explore a ray of techniques from a psychodynamic approach, with an
umbrella for therapeutic approaches using Psychoanalysis,

Responsibility to Others versus Individual Selfishness
The 20th century philosopher Emanuel Levinas, responding to the horrors of the Holocaust, considers
our ethical responsibility to other humans as follows: The Ego loses its sovereign coincidence with
self, its identification where consciousness comes back triumphantly to itself to reside in itself...The
challenge to self is precisely reception of the absolutely other...[T]he Other hails me and signifies to
me...by its destitution, an order. Its presence is the summons to respond...To be Me/Ego thenceforth
signifies being unable to escape from responsibility. ( Signification and Sense 32 33). What Levinas is
trying to explain is an individual is a person, or human, by how others perceive that individual, thus an
individual is ethically responsible for others as well as others to the individual or is otherwise a loss.
Throughout Dante s The Divine Comedy 1: Hell and Shakespeare s Macbeth, the idea of the
responsibility to others versus an individual s selfishness is a constant debate. In both Dante s The
Divine Comedy 1: Hell and Shakespeare s Macbeth, the responsibility to others is something that is
expected. In Dante s The Divine Comedy 1: Hell, Dante is guided through Hell and learns how
various sins are punished, the traitors being near the bottom. In Shakespeare s Macbeth, Macbeth is
told his destiny to become king, and then face internal conflicts of the various murders he performed
in order to achieve the power of being king. Dante s The Divine Comedy 1: Hell and

Rogers And Psychodynamic Therapy
II: BIOGRAPHY OF ROGERS
On January 8, 1902, Rogers was born in Oak Park, Illinois, a little suburb outside of Chicago. He was
the fourth out of six other children. He was brought up in a home marked by close family ties, a very
strict and uncompromising religious and ethical atmosphere, and what amounted to a worship of the
virtue of hard work. His parents cared a great deal for him and their other children, and they had their
welfare almost constantly in mind. His parents were also, in many subtle and affectionate ways, very
controlling of their children s behavior. Rogers said that it was assumed by them and himself that they
were different from other people no alcoholic beverages, no dancing, cards or theater, very little social
life, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
During the early years of his theory, it was known as nondirective. Later, his theory was termed client
centered, person centered, student centered, group centered, and person to person. We use the label
client centered in reference to Carl s therapy and the more inclusive term person centered to refer to
Rogerian personality theory (J. Feist, G. Feist, Roberts, 2013, p. 289). The core purpose of the person
centered approach is to actualize tendency (facilitate the personal growth and relationships of an
individual by allowing them to explore and utilize their own strengths and personal identity). A
counselor that uses person centered approach will aid this process and provide support to help their
clients overcome the problems that are dwelling ad affecting their personal development and progress.
Rogers postulated two structures or processes: organismic experiencing and self. Experience refers to
everything potentially available to awareness occurring within the organism at any given time. Both
conscious and unconscious processes are included with these experiences (Fernald, 2000, p.

Effective And Ineffective Problem Problems Essay

Effective and Ineffective Problem solvers
Good problem solvers have different approaches and characteristic as compared to non problem
solvers (Whimbey, 1982). The characteristics that I possess are:
Accuracy and double checking: As a good problem solver, I am concerned with accuracy. I always
check and recheck, the problem if necessary. I always reread instructions and avoid guessing. In
contrast, a poor problem solver is sloppy and inaccurate. They may misunderstand the problem or the
process of solving it. Most of the time, they lack the slow, step by step approach. (Whimbey,1982.p.7).
Can do attitude: Simply expressed, as an effective problem solver, I see problems as opportunities, a
chance to learn something new, to grow, to succeed where others have failed, or to prove that it can be
done . Underlying this attitude is a deeply held conviction that, with adequate preparation, the right
answer will emerge. Good problem solvers believe that Opportunity is missed by most people because
it is dressed in overalls and looks like work(Thomas Edison). Poor problem solvers will give up at
first chance and are not willing to learn anything new.
There are characteristics that i feel I need to improve. These are:
Dismissal: While I agree I do have some good solving skills, I also tend to dismiss some problems and
leave without solving them. I am however trying to change the dismissal attitude when it comes to
facing some problems. For

Second Language Acquisition Essay
Second language acquisition has long been the focus of linguists and researchers in the teaching field.
It highlights the process and theories of acquiring second languages among learners. Second language
acquisition seeks to understand the development of second language acquisition among second
language learners. Mastering the knowledge of second language acquisition helps teachers to
successfully provide effective teaching for students. Undeniably, knowledge on second language
acquisition is very much related to effective teaching of second languages. Many linguists and teacher
educators believe that all language teachers should be equipped with knowledge of second language
acquisition to help them teach effectively. Additionally, most teacher training programmers have
incorporated second language acquisition as a compulsory course to make sure that all future language
teachers are well equipped with enough knowledge to teach in classroom.
Then again, the relationship between second language acquisition and effective second language
teaching is still being discussed. Hence, this paper aims to explain ways in which knowledge of
second language acquisition helps language teachers to provide a better and effective second language
teaching in classrooms by highlighting three main ideas; knowledge of second language acquisition
helps teachers to understand the different needs of students, to design a good second language course
and effective teaching method for learners, and to

  • 2. How Does La Contessa Respond To Isolation The Sorrows of Unopposed Isolation Companionship is something all humans will encounter throughout their lifespan, whether it be genuine or false. A genuine companion is one who offers advice and support with positive and selfless intent. A bogus companion may offer advice and companionship, but seeks some sort of disguised self benefit or is ashamed of the relationship. In the Enlightenment novel, The Sorrows of Young Werther by Goethe and in the Baroque opera Le Nozze di Figaro by Mozart, a theme of isolation due to lack of companionship is prevalent. The main characters, Werther and La Contessa respectively, respond to isolation differently, resulting in a different outcome for the two. Ultimately, the character of La Contessa ended up better off than Werther because of how she responded to isolation. Based upon their response to isolation, I argue that when no genuine companion is present, it is better for a person to pursue or accept bogus companionship rather than no companionship, despite the circumstances that lead them to the isolated state. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Werther, the protagonist, is obsessed with Charlotte, the main female character. Together, they form a genuine companionship, spending time together and offering advice to one another. Despite their deep connection, such as when they bonded over Klopstock, Charlotte rejects Werther romantically, as she is already bound to Albert. Due to Werther s all in or all out mentality, when rejected by Charlotte romantically, he first becomes obsessive and, due to Charlotte s steadfast rejection, chooses to isolate himself from her completely. By removing Charlotte from his life, he had no other companions to turn to other than Wilhelm, a character with whom he corresponded with only through ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

After careful consideration and investigating different options, we need the assistance of your division to reach as many students as possible, by promoting the tools and services that are available to assist our student s financial needs. Student Affairs is appealing to Student Life for assistance because of your already strong relationships and outreach programs with students. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... We are appealing to your division as Student Life is already at the forefront of the student s lives. We need your assistance to help make our students become knowledgeable about the tools they can use to manage their finances. Student Life is already involved with our freshman at orientation and we would appreciate if you can incorporate 15 to 30 minutes into the orientation presentation about what financial tools and services the university has to offer. We might not want to disseminate too much information at orientation, as it might seem overwhelming at that point to the students. We only want to bring these resources to our student s attention, informing them about upcoming events for money management throughout the year. We can reach other students that we do not connect with at orientation, through online promotions, such as Facebook and Twitter, on campus advertising, word of mouth, and events about developing money management skills. Again, the relevant marketing material is already at our disposal through CashCourse®, however, we need the assistance of your team to help distribute and advertise the services. Facilitating Events: Another interesting feature through CashCourse® is that they offer scavenger hunts. Student life could promote the scavenger hunt and assist with the execution of the events. The goal is to help students become familiar with the program throughout each ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Food Famine Research Paper Many people might believe that global famine exists nowadays just in extremely poor places of the world and in not so high levels when indeed local level famines have erupted in Sub Saharan Africa, South Asia and parts of Latin America. Some 795 million people in the world do not have enough food to lead a healthy active life. That is about one in nine people on earth and the vast majority of the world s hungry people live in developing countries, where 12.9 percent of the population is undernourished. Which is even sadder is to think that actually the amounts of food to help solve this situation exists around the world and instead of been designated to contribute with the cause it is thrown to garbage. 40% percent of the food that is produced ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... But we cannot only solve this, we can prevent bigger catastrophes, troubles that put in risk the preservation of the environment. Whenever we dump our food, we lost a big amount of the labor and natural resources that are used in the elaboration of food, being the last one commonly known as limited natural resources, such as water, and most of the time, fossil fuels that are used to provide energy to the different factories that work with food. 40% percent of the food that is produced in the U.S. never gets eaten (Natural Resources Defense Council). This, of course, brings a lot of consequences for the environment. Another direct consequence from the food waste is that all the food that is thrown away with other types of garbage, decomposes without air, which produces high levels of methane, a greenhouse gas that is even more dangerous than CO2, because it catches even more heat in the atmosphere than the already mention gas. We can say that this is not only a problem related to famine, their effects are even deeper that we can ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. How Did Isolationist Sentiment Influence US Foreign Policy... As the United States went through two World Wars between 1914 and 1941, isolationist sentiment had a large influence on US foreign policy. There were many causes for such isolationist beliefs as the era included many significant changes. The main change that Americans experienced during this time period was the immense difference in the decades, with a roaring economy in the 1920s following the first World War and a Great Depression in the 1930s which would end with the start of the second World War. With such large changes occurring within the lives of Americans during this entire period of time, isolationist sentiment rose. As such beliefs became widespread, US foreign policy became influenced by such isolationism. Isolationism meant that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... With such events occurring quickly in such a small time period, the second World War came as a massive shock. Yet again, Americans called for isolationism and neutrality as they believed America should focus on ending the Great Depression, not worrying about and dealing with the international issues of other nations and peoples. By analyzing Document 5, it is clear that many Americans still believe in isolationism during the Great Depression. Bennett Champ Clark states in his Defense of the First Neutrality Act that the desire to keep the United States from becoming involved in any war between foreign nations seems practically unanimous among the rank and file of American citizens. Americans influenced the US foreign policy yet again as the First Neutrality Act was passed in 1935. By analyzing Document 6, it is clear that President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the choices he made were still influenced by isolationist sentiment as he states in his Quarantine Speech that it is my determination to adopt every practicable measure to avoid involvement in war. However, it is clear in President Roosevelt s speech that he knew that entering the war was inevitable as he states that the peace of the world and the welfare and security of every nation, including our own is today being threatened by that very thing (war). Although the United States tried its best to not enter the second World War for many years, it could not avoided by the end of 1941. On December 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor was bombed by the Japanese. The federal government s response to this attack can be analyzed in Document 7, President Roosevelt s Pearl Harbor Address to the Congress of the United States. In response to the attack, Roosevelt calls for Congress to declare . . . a state of war has existed between the United States and the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Cultural Differences In Health Care While existing in a different cultural may not directly define a level of health status, the intrapersonal differences within the culture could be considered important (Biddle, 2010). With some cultures holding levels of connection to the land, this may cause certain communities to seclude themselves to a particular area, which effects the level of accessibility to health services. There are also apparent gaps between cultures in terms of employment, as the workplace is predominantly originated out of non indigenous culture. A lack of employment existing under indigenous cultures leads to less resources for the individuals to maintain health (Biddle, 2010). • 10. When People Talk About The Word “Fashion,” It Automobility When people talk about the word fashion, it automobility provides a sense of popular styles of clothing, accessories, and makeup. Fashion influences not only on people s behaviors, but also influences the society as a whole, such as socially and economically. In Adorned in Dreams, the author Elizabeth Wilson, introduces that fashion is a form of art, and people can use fashion to express their ideas, beliefs, and desires. Wilson also introduces the history of fashions in order to prove that people can use fashion to express different belief systems, social values, and public desires during each time period. In Subculture The Meaning of Style, Dick Hebdige believes people can use fashion as a tool to express their beliefs. In this case, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In nowadays, buying luxury brands is not only showing a sign of wealth, but also a kind of rewards for people s hard working. Luxury products sell high market prices because of their designs, brand names, and the qualities. People want to buy luxury products because their quality is better than target brands. For example, the brand like Bottega Veneta is known for its traditional design of leather goods; their handbags are handmade in Italy. Comparing to Bottega Veneta to target brands, Bottega Veneta s design will not easily out of style, but target brands will easily out of styles because their designs are relatively ordinary. However, in the recent year, some luxury brands reputation has gone done because those brands were shifting their factories to other countries and then shipping back to Italy just for the label. Technically, the phrase Made in Italy is not really manufacture in Italy anymore, sometimes this product s qualities are not as good as before. There is a rising concern of whether these luxury goods really match with the expensive price tags. In Adorned in Dreams, Wilson introduces that people express their ideas, beliefs, and desires through fashion. • 11. The Abolition Of Torture By Andrew Sullivan The Abolition of Torture In this article, Andrew Sullivan, is an advocate for the abolition of torture against terrorist in the United States. During the time that this article was written, the McCain Amendment (which banned torture) was on a political limbo. What this author talks mostly about is the choice that we have to make things right, therefore ban the use of torture against terrorist. This debate takes place after Bush administration defined torture and permitted coercive, physical abuse of enemy combatants if military necessity demands it. Also after several reports found severe abuse of detainees in Afghanistan and elsewhere that has led to at least two dozen deaths during interrogation, secret torture sites in Eastern Europe and innocent detainees being murdered. Sullivan, argument is opposite to that of Krauthammer s argument because for him torture, in any form and under any circumstances, represents the opposite to what the US stands for and it is an impediment to winning a wider war. Torture is the polar opposite of freedom. It is the banishment of all freedom from a human body and soul. Human beings, all inhabit bodies and have minds, souls, and reflexes that are designed in part to protect those bodies and to maintain a sense of selfhood that is the basis for the concept of personal liberty. What torture does is use these involuntary, self protective resources of human beings against the integrity of the human being himself. It takes what is most ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 12. James Bond Sex And Violence Analysis Within James Bond s universe, sex and violence are often the same thing. James gun is used not as an extension of his penis, but as his penis. When in M tells him that he is going to need a new gun because his old one no longer suffices, Fleming describes Bond s relationship with his old gun using masturbatory terms, describing how Bond had dismantled the gun and oiled it and packed the bullets carefully into the spring loaded magazine and tried the action once or twice, pumping the cartridges out onto the bedspread in some hotel bedroom in Dr. No, (025,), and in a celebration of pre existent vocabulary Bond can often be seen resting his hand on the butt of his gun. (CR, 008) Similarly, acts of violence are described in ways that invite the imagining of sexual acts. In the testicular torture scene from Casino Royale, where cool Le Chiffre flogs Bond with a carpet beater, only Fleming chooses to describe Bond s response to the torture rather than the torture itself, and when reading the responses selectively one might think Bond s body is responding to physical pleasure rather than pain. If the application is integrated into a general purpose search engine, then one would need to determine whether the user is in fact looking for subjective material. This may or may not be a difficult problem in and of it: perhaps queries of this type will tend to contain indicator terms like review , reviews , or opinions , or perhaps the application would provide a checkbox to the user so that he or she could indicate directly that reviews are what are desired. • 14. Efficient Credit Market in the Rural Areas of Deveoping... Introduction: A great deal of attention has been paid to the establishment of an efficient credit market in the rural areas of developing countries over past few decades. This has been motivated by the fact that widespread shortage of finance can act as critical barrier to agricultural growth and development in rural areas. Lack of supply of credit can make adoption of new production technologies unaffordable to the farmers and delay the growth in agricultural sector. Accessing formal credit has always been difficult for farmers as small or no collateral, inadequate foreclosure capability along with weak reinforcement arrangement in the rural areas of developing countries make them very much unattractive for commercial banks to engage in any lending activity. This absence of formal credit market led to the rise of informal credit markets in many developed countries. This was an attempt to reduce the borrowing constraint that the poor farmers face and to improve the their access to small loans and deposits. The whole movement got an institutional structure in the beginning of 1980 s when micro lending institutions such as Grameen Bank from Bangladesh and IRB from Indonesia showed that providing small loans to the poor individuals in large scale can turn out to be a profitable venture. In contrary to the donor or government driven subsidized rural credit programs, these institutions designed a less costly and more efficient monitoring procedure to ensure repayments and ... Levinas vis-à-vis the Other Essay Levinas vis à vis the Other Philosophy, arising from its Greek tradition of a love of wisdom , seeks to critically examine those questions most fundamental to humankind; it is concerned with essential concepts (or rather, questions) of being (metaphysics), rightness and goodness, knowledge, truth and beauty. As a branch of metaphysics, ontology seeks, in particular, to understand the nature of being (or existence) by placing objects within categories and organized totalities, while always assuming God as the first cause (causa sui). Before evaluating Levinas humanity opening theories, however, it seems necessary to understand the process by which one can come to know the initial Other. For before the subject can enter into a just, fraternal relationship with the Other, he must be wholly prepared to welcome its face. According to Levinas, before encountering the Other, one is in a sleeping state within the Order of Being. Mundane and superficial, this Order allows only for categorization and objectification of things. At this stage even animate objects are reduced to their formal properties: a cat, for example, is classified according to its genus and species, recognized only as one instance of cat ; a human, similarly, is reduced simply to another instance of humanity. (Rebidoux, 26 Jan 2004) It is from this state of perpetual sleep, Levinas orders, that one must awaken. Whilst sleeping within the Order of Being, one is instinctually awoken by the Infinite. As Mulvey suggests, most visual media is meant for white men to identify with, this type of character gives the short allusion that the television show is going to be this same type of experience: a show directed at straight white men. However, it quickly flips the script on this as the next scene, in which we receive the shows first dialogue, depicts one of the women from the bed, named Tina, standing in front of a mirror, looking at an ovulation test. Mulvey writes about what is called the mirror phase, The mirror phase occurs...with the result that his recognition of himself is joyous in the he imagines his mirror image to be a more complete, more perfect than he experiences his own body. Recognition is thus mislaid with mis recognition: the image recognized is conceived as the reflected body of self, but its mis recognition as superior projects (60). This quote describes a stage of identity in psychoanalysis in which a child first recognizes themselves in a mirror, and can therefore imagine themselves as more than a reflection of their mother s face even though the image is a misrepresentation in it s incompleteness (Mulvey 60). This concept is directly applicable to this scene, as the character standing in front of the mirror represents a stage of identification for the viewer. By seeing the character reflected in the mirror the viewer receives a more complete image of her, is forced into this step of self identification; thus, the audience directly cued that they are supposed to identify with this character, rather than the male character that was shown ... As we look at the law itself, when we express thankfulness to the God Force for that which we have received (even though it is still in the unseen), it is an expenditure of force, therefore our gratitude cannot fail to reach God, and when it does the reaction is an instantaneous move toward you. Consider two properly aligned magnets. They are two forces moving in opposite directions while moving toward one another. Gratitude draws you and the Creative Force, God, directly toward each other. If our gratitude is strong enough and consistent then there will always be a move of that which we are co creating toward us. When the God Force moves toward us it brings all that it is. The Law of Gratitude also dictates that if our heart is not full of gratitude, then something else will take its place. Physics teaches that nature will not tolerate a vacuum. That is to say that if something is removed then something else must take its place. If our hearts are not filled with gratitude, then our hearts will be filled with ungratefulness. An ungrateful heart will take you from what you want as rapidly as a grateful heart will take you toward what you want.
