1. Foreign Policy Essays
Crafting an essay on the subject of "Foreign Policy" can be a challenging endeavor that demands
a comprehensive understanding of international relations, diplomacy, and geopolitical dynamics.
The complexity of this topic lies in its multifaceted nature, encompassing historical contexts,
contemporary issues, and the intricate interplay of various nations on the global stage.
One of the primary challenges is the need for in-depth research to stay abreast of the latest
developments and evolving perspectives in international affairs. The landscape of foreign policy
is dynamic, with geopolitical shifts, emerging crises, and evolving alliances shaping the
discourse. Staying current and relevant in addressing these issues requires constant vigilance and
engagement with diverse sources.
Moreover, a successful essay on foreign policy demands a nuanced analysis that goes beyond
surface-level observations. It necessitates a deep dive into the motivations behind diplomatic
decisions, the impact of historical events on current policies, and an awareness of cultural,
economic, and political factors that influence a nation's stance.
Balancing a critical perspective while maintaining objectivity is another hurdle in crafting a
compelling foreign policy essay. It requires a writer to navigate through complex and often
controversial topics, presenting arguments based on well-researched evidence while
acknowledging differing viewpoints. Striking this delicate balance is crucial for the credibility
and persuasiveness of the essay.
Furthermore, the task involves synthesizing a vast amount of information into a coherent and
organized structure. Effective communication of ideas is paramount, and the ability to weave a
narrative that engages the reader while delivering a clear and concise message is a skill that
requires honing.
In conclusion, writing an essay on foreign policy demands a combination of research prowess,
analytical thinking, and effective communication. It requires navigating through a maze of
international relations, understanding diverse perspectives, and presenting well-supported
arguments. Despite its challenges, delving into the intricacies of foreign policy provides an
opportunity for intellectual growth and a deeper understanding of the world's complexities.

2. Imperialism Dbq Ap European History
Between the period from 1880 to 1914, European powers went after overseas
empires in Africa. The governments and political leaders of the European powers
believed that this colonization of the African empires was necessary to maintain
their global influence. A second group of people supposed that African colonization
was the result of the greedy Capitalists who only cared for new resources and
markets. The third group of people claimed it to be their job to enlighten and educate
the uncivilized people of Africa. Although the political leaders of European powers
encouraged colonization of African empires to advance their nation s global
influence, others argued that it was only for the profiteering of the Capitalists who

Archibald Philip Primrose, Lord Rosebery, wrote, in his letter to the London Times,
that colonies are essential to the nations survival. Health of mind and body exalt a
nation in the competition of the universe (Document 8). These political leaders
believed that colonization was necessary to keep the nation s global influence.
African colonization obviously offered new wealth sources, such as markets and
resources, to the European nations; however, many people doubted the ethicality of
the act. In his speech in 1888, Joseph Chamberlain, British industrialist, politician and
reformer, clearly argues that colonization is incredibly necessary to the British nation.
He believes that the British Isles could not last for a single day without the natural
markets for trade provided by the African colonies (Document 4). However, since he
is an industrialist, Chamberlains goal is to increase his own wealth along with his
countries, therefore, this argument could be distorted. Cecil Rhodes, British
imperialist, easily revealed his thoughts on Imperialism when he said Philanthropy is
good, but philanthropy at 5 percent is even better in a speech at the chartering of
the British South Africa Company in 1889 (Document 5). William Clark disagreed
with imperialist in a Progressive Review in 1879. His opinion was that the financers
who hope to gain profit use Jameson, a British military officer who led an
3. How Kids Learn Resilience Summary
The Falsehood of Resilience
The article How Kids Learn Resilience is written by Paul Tough and she confesses
for all our talk about non cognitive skills, nobody has yet found a reliable way to
teach kids to be grittier or more resilient (Tough 3). A new idea is developing that
these characteristics are not found in teaching but through environmental forces
inside the classroom and at home. In the article researchers, economists, American
schools, and teachers showcase how grit and resilience can be placed in the minds of
young children and in the middle and high school stages. The author takes us on a
journey through different theories, studies, and programs to help grasp a better
understanding of how young children and teenagers can develop ... Show more

In comparison, this viewpoint alternated my opinion as Dante Cicchetti displays
research on the determinants of resilience in maltreated children is presented as an
illustration of empirical work that is moving from single level to multilevel
investigations of competent functioning in the face of adversity and trauma .
For many different intellectuals in this article feel as though all our talk about
noncognitive skills, nobody has yet found a reliable way to teach kids to be grittier
or more resilient (3). As a result, Paul Tough does not build a logical argument
because nobody can determine how a person obtains grittiness.
Due to this topic being so broad, there is no definite answer to how an individual can
truly learn resilience. Also, in the article How Kids Learn Resilience Paul Tough
emphasizes the point that non cognitive traits like grit, self regulation, optimism, and
resilience simply cannot be taught. In this case, I agree but on the other hand, she
reveals that it is being built through student centered environments, which include
both a sense of belonging and academic
4. African Americans And African American Males
Currently, African Americans make up nearly one million of the total 2.3 million
incarcerated population. Nearly one in three African American males born today can
expect to serve time in prison during their lifetime (NAACP, 2015). A central issue in
today s society is the rate of criminalization of African Americanmales. There are
many speculations on this topic; however, the central one is when a crime is
committed then there is time to be served. However, the time served by African
American males is disproportionate than that of Caucasian counterparts for the exact
same crime. The lack of concern that is presented over the clear overrepresentation of
African American males in the prison system is appalling.
The present analysis will offer a comprehensive summary of the different factors that
are to be taken into account of the stigmatization of African American male offenders.
These factors include treatment while incarcerated, family support, the impact of the
incarceration on the family, and the correlation between different social and
contextual factors and incarceration.
African American Males Research shows that individuals of African American
descent are imprisoned more often than Caucasians. When it comes to prison,
African American males seem to be discriminated against. In 2001, a total of 16.6%
of African American males were incarcerated in a State or Federal prison (Bonczar,
2003). According to the Bonczar (2003), one in three African American
5. Woburn Water Pollution Case Study
In 1986, a case went to court that pertained to the polluted state of the drinking
water in Woburn, Massachusetts. Two companies, W.R. Grace Co. and Beatrice
Foods, were accused of improperly disposing of chemical waste, which was said to
have been the cause of the water contamination in wells G and H. However, Woburn
had a history of manufacturing chemicals and carrying out other toxic processes,
such as leather tanning, that began as early as the 1600s. In fact, Woburn had been
the leading producer of leather in 1855 and into the 20th century. The process for
making leather, in which hides are soaked in toxic agents and brushed with chemical
compounds as a finish, can easily pollute surrounding natural resources if not carried
out with caution.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
To make matters worse, many of the plants were located by the Aberjona River,
which was a major source of water for the citizens. These factories may have been
more successful overall if they had known how to dispose of chemical waste
properly; however a toxic amount of chemicals, including waste from arsenic and
lead, were allowed to seep into the soil, groundwater, and the Aberjona River.
Because of this, the river became discolored, fish were dying, and even animals
were seen avoiding the water (Science in the Courtroom, 2017). While the issue was
known as early as the mid 1800s, no actual pollution control was implemented until
the 1960s, and even then any efforts to clean up the waste were still sparse.
Eventually occurrences such as the Great Depression declined the manufacturing
industry of Woburn, however the effects were arguably still apparent for years to
come (Science in the Courtroom,

Why the World isn t flat
Though the volume of globalization is in increasing pace, the value to globalization
hasn t been recorded high. If we look at the data, countries trade is mostly bilateral
with the nearby country. The geography and distance among countries still matter
when it comes to international trade.
If we talk about the outsourcing of work, only the standardized work that is principle
based such as accounting, data management, coding, etc. can be transferred to other
geographic location because of cost advantage, location advantage, and productivity
there. The disruptive and innovative ideas are worked in a team having brilliant
talent which can t be outsourced. One such example is of Sweden, which stands 7th
in world top innovators index and ranks 3rd in terms of patent filing among 183
countries in the list. It is because of the excellent education system (ranking 12th
among 183 countries) and high level of technological adoption and ITC usage
(ranking 11th and 4th respectively). Practicing such disruption with the people from
other countries takes a lot of time and

hat if I told you there is a miracle mineral that strengthens immunity, fights the effects
of stress and pain, increases energy levels, improves skin complexion, and provides
allergy relief? Would you be interested? If yes, then you are in the right place.
Did you know Organic Sulfur is the third most abundant mineral in the human body
and is absolutely essential for health? It is one of the basic building blocks of life and
is essential in maintaining our health.
Organic Sulfur Benefits 23 Surprisingly Impressive Benefits
1. Organic Sulfur works like chelation therapy.
Organic sulfur is one of the most powerful and effective solutions for detoxifying the
entire body because it oxygenates your cells, alkalizes your blood and removes toxins
and heavy metals that lead to cellular malfunction and disease (Clark).
Organic sulfur can easily bind with most toxins to form a sulfate, such as mercury
sulfate, lead sulfate, barium sulfate, arsenic sulfate, aluminum sulfate, strontium
sulfate, etc., By bonding with all the toxic heavy metals, Organic Sulfur can safely
chelate and remove these toxic metals from our bodies. Sulfur does not bind to
iodine, which is a good thing (Parcell).
2. It helps with allergies, asthma, and emphysema.
Sulfur helps all the cells in the body to work better and keep the system clean by
binding to mucous membranes and forming a natural block against allergens. Thus
leading to a reduction or elimination of allergies.
It helps alleviate emphysema
8. Potential Energy And Kinetic Energy In Soccer
Potential energy and kinetic energy: PE= mass x gravity x height KE= 1/2 MV2
The soccer ball has potential energy when it s in the air, when you kick the ball it
turns into Kinetic energy when it is moving. If the soccer ball is on the ground there
is no potential energy because it s related with height, when you kick the ball the
kinetic energy from the player passes through the ball.
Momentum: Momentum = mass velocity
Momentum is velocity of object times it s mass.
When we are striking the ball it transfers the momentum to the ball. While receiving
the ball we use our feet to stop the momentum of the ball by moving our feet back
then attacking the ball slowly enough that we can have more control of the ball.
Inertia: F = ma Is the resistance of the ball to acceleration, if there was no inertia
when you kick the ball it wouldn t go anywhere and immediately fall straight down to
the ground and stop. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This includes wind flow, air speed and pressure. When a player strikes a ball the drag
and force the ball takes controls the trajectory, defiantly when the ball is spinning.
Velocity/speed:
Velocity is how fast you re moving, when you kick the ball it s putting Velocity on
it. The more force you put on the ball the more speed it has. Soccer players need to
get the ball as fast they can, so they need to increase the rate they change their
position at.
Acceleration:
Acceleration= change in velocity * time interval Acceleration occurs when you kick
the ball, the change in acceleration while depend on the force of which you kick the
ball. It also occurs when you are running around the field. After the ball is kicked it
actually starts to decelerate while in the air or across the ground.

12. A Research Study On Vascular Imaging
Introduction
Vascular ultrasound (US) is an established non invasive method of imaging the
cardiovascular system. It is cheap, accessible and provides a rapid diagnosis of
many vascular diseases such as presence of abdominal aortic aneurysm, deep vein
thrombosis and limb arterial occlusions. The majority of vascular ultrasound
currently done in the UK is trans cutaneous ultrasound, in which the US probe obtains
images of the vessels from above the skin.
In recent years intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) has gained popularity in obtaining
high resolution images of the blood vessels from inside the vascular lumen, providing
detailed information of the vascular lesions and their anatomy.
In this review, utilisation of IVUS in different areas of... Show more content on

The standard IVUS sheaths are 9 Fr with a 0.035 inch guidewire, however 0.014
inch catheters are available for smaller arteries (Kpodonu et al., 2008).
Once inside the target vessel, IVUS obtains 360 degrees cross sectional images.
The sonic wave reflections from the arterial wall differ depending on the structure
of the arterial wall components. Collagen and elastin produce a stronger sonic
reflection thus a hyper echoic picture of the intima and adventitia, whilst the
smooth muscle cells in the media produce a hypo echoic picture due to reduced
sonic reflection from these structures (Kpodonu et al., 2008). New generation
IVUS devices can produce three dimensional pictures by stacking the two
dimensional axial images during pull back of the US catheter. The pull back could
be done either manually or mechanically using a motor. 3 D images are useful in
assessment of endovascular device deployment failures, which might not be detected
in conventional angiographies. 3 D images are also helpful in sizing of the arteries
and veins for endovascular device planning (Weissman et al., 1995; Heuser et al.,
1997).
IVUS can provide B mode and colour images from inside the vessels. The
transducers frequencies are generally between 10 MHz and 40MHz (Lee and
White, 2004). New generation IVUS with frequencies of 40MHz to 50MHz are
useful for imaging the coronary arteries (Lee and White, 2004).
Although higher frequencies can produce higher resolution images, this would

17. Summary Of The Battle Of Stalingrad
The Battle of Stalingrad, perhaps the single most critical and certainly one of the
bloodiest battles of World War II, is a great setting for a historical fiction story. His
story centers on a duel to the death between two men: Chief Master Sgt. Vasily
Zaitsev, sniper, one of the best of the Russian army, and a German SS colonel
named Heinz Thorvald, the Nazis greatest marksman. When Russian snipers led
by Zaitsev begin to take a demoralizing toll of German troops, picking them off like
hunters shooting bears, the high command in Berlin dispatches Thorvald to the
battlefield with orders to accomplish a single task: kill Zaitsev. A deadly contest
ensues, with Robbins skillfully building up each of his protagonists as so deadly
in their murderous crafts as to make them feared as a person and well liked as a
reader. It is not David versus Goliath, but Hercules versus Zeus, the manly conflict
of two equally matched and equally remorseless adversaries. The story moreover
is based, Robbins writes in the introduction, on two real historical figures, though it
is unclear whether the real Zaitsev and Thorvald engaged in the kind of duel
described in War of the Rats. Robbins opens with a German lieutenant named
Hofstetter who makes the mistake of tilting his head back to drink from a canteen
and is dropped by a single shot from a distant rifle. We then meet his killer, the
Russian Zaitsev, who, before World War II was a hunter on the Siberian taiga,
instructed by his grandfather in the almost mystical and intuition filled techniques
of stalking. ( God is about fear, a way to make you afraid and obey, the old man
told him. The man of the forest is without fear. ) Zaitsev is called into the dirt
floored bunker of his commanding officer one day and ordered to train a team of
snipers. The reason for keeping the enemy tied down in Stalingrad, however, is easy
to know. The Germans have to be kept against the Volga River until the gigantic
pincers movement that will eventually defeat them can be mounted. Zaitsev and his
partner, big Viktor Medvedev, draw together their team of sharpshooters. This
includes one beautiful woman of unusual provenance, a certain Tania Chernova who,
Robbins tells us in his introduction, was

In order to examine whether economic development can be accelerated in low
developed countries it important to define and identify the characteristics of
Economic Development. Economic development is significantly more advanced than
economic growth. It is more relevant to measuring improvements in the quality of life
in developing nations. Economic development is also concerned with literacy rates,
life expectancy, poverty rates and structural changes in the economy.
According to Todaro Smith 2011, Economic Development can be specified into
three objectives of development. The first is Sustaining Goods and Services ; this
objective is the increase in supply of goods and services, which also widens the
distribution of basic needs such as food shelter, health and protection. The second is
An Increase in Income ; this objective is to increase the standard of living, jobs,
improved education and better attention to cultural values. All these factors enhance
material well being, individual and national self esteem. The third and final is the
Freedom to Make Economic and Social Choices , this objective is to increase the
range of economic opportunities available to a society.
There has been Dispute on the most reliable way to measure Economic development.
In this paper the measurement of Economic Development is the Human Development

19. An Analysis Of Suicide Note By Janice Mirikitani
The term Asian American refers to an extremely diverse group of people, with
varying cultures, histories, views of mental illness, and views of suicide. It has been
estimated that almost 50 distinct Asian American ethnic groups speaking 30 different
languages reside in the United States alone, (Hapa). Many Asian Americans are very
traditional familys Asian Americans are more likely than other Americans to value
marriage, parenthood, hard work and career success (Saw) . The poem Suicide Note
by Janice Mirikitani, is a poem about a young Asian American who commits suicide
by jumping out of her dormitory window in college. Later someone in the poem finds
a suicide note that the main character leaves behind explaining why she committed...

A lot of children that come from an Asian culture background a prefer to die then
to have a bad grade in school. The thinking of suicide comes from The pressure to
succeed and the shame that results from the failure to do so, which are associated
with psychological distress and suicide, have been documented among youth in
Asian countries, such as Sri Lanka, China and Japan (Saw). Furth more this
example shows us that many Asian American culture hate to seea family member
bring shame to their family and would rather them to not fail in life but to always
succeed. In the poem Suicide Note the main character explains in her Note that she
is not smart enough (Kirszner l.3) The main character feels that she is not smart in
enough in school. In a summary before the poem the author explains that Her
suicide note contained an apology to her parents for having received less than a
perfect four point grade average (Kirszner 683). This example shows that the main
character had to have a great grade in school if not she would not feel content with
herself. Education is one of the most important goals in a life of an Asian American
citizen and if not accomplished very well could result in Depression or even Suicide.
Janice Mirkikitnia poem Suicide Note, also shows the parental expectations are high
for Asian American children. A research conducted concluded that Asian Americans

Competitive Intelligence and Analysis Competitive intelligence and analysis is an
important part of a business. Competitive intelligence is the art of defining, gathering,
analyzing, and distributing intelligence about products, customers, competitors,
individuals, concepts, information, ideas or data needed to support executives and
managers in making strategic decisions for a business. This includes a broad array
from government intelligence to market intelligence to business intelligence
(Competitive Intelligence, n.d.). Competitive intelligence can include competitor
analysis, knowledge management, market research, and business strategy and
business research. Competitive intelligence can be used as an everyday business
tool to analyze stocks or look for weaknesses in the competitor (Competitive

a.Suppose both firms have entered the industry. What is the joint profit maximizing
level of output? How much will each firm produce? How would your answer change
if the firms have not yet entered the industry? If both firms enter the market, and they
collude, they will face a marginal revenue curve with twice the slope of the demand
curve: MR = 50 10Q. Setting marginal revenue equal to marginal cost(the marginal
cost of Firm 1, since it is lower than that of Firm 2) to determine the profit

output of the first firm and Q2 be the output of the second. Market demand is now
given by Q1 + Q2 = 53 P. Assuming that this second firm has the same costs as the
first, write the profits of each firm as functions of Q1 and Q2. When the second
firm enters, price can be written as a function of the output of two firms: P = 53 Q1

the Cournot model) that each firm chooses its profit maximizing level of output on
the assumption that its competitor s output is fixed. Find each firm s reaction curve

the Cournot assumption, Firm 1 treats the output of Firm 2 as a constant in its
maximization of profits. Therefore, Firm 1 chooses Q1 to maximize 1 in b with Q2
being treated as a constant.
22. Air Pressure In Football Experiment Essay
Air pressure can indeed affect the distance that the football will travel. The data from
the experiment proved that the more air pressure, or the more inflated the ball is,
then the farther the ball will travel. When one tested the lowest air pressure, our
results showed that a flat ball will not travel far at all when thrown at a consistent
speed. When one inflated the ballonly halfway, it traveled significantly farther than a
fully deflated ball. Furthermore, when one inflated the ball to the regulated air
pressure of the National Football League, it travelled farther than both the fully
deflated and halfway deflated ball. The statistics also supported the hypothesis for
this experiment. The averages correlated with the distance that... Show more content

For a football with a pressure of 0.0 kilopascals, the average distance thrown was
3.3 meters, and the median distance was 3.45 meters. For a pressure of 44.8

meters. The median and mean for a football with a pressure of 89.6 kilopascals was
the same, at a distance of 36.0 meters. This shows that there was minimal error in our
testing.
Also, the modes give clues to the consistency of our experiment. For the pressure
of 0.0 kilopascals, there were two modes, 2.7 meters and 3.8 meters. For 44.8
kilopascals, the mode was 11.4 meters. For a football with a pressure of 89.6
kilopascals, two modes occurred, 36.0 meters and 38.7 meters. This shows that the
trials for testing the distance one can throw a football based on the varying
pressures were fairly consistent. Based on the range of our tests, we also found that
human errors come into play in our results. When the pressure of the football was
89.6 kilopascals, the range was 6.2 meters, so this means that the most errors
occurred at this pressure. Also, the smallest range was 1.8 meters, which was when
one deflated the ball completely, at 0.0 kilopascals. Therefore, this means that there
were minimal errors during these

A Functional Service Economy
Green Business. Natural Capitalism. Eco efficiency. An Eco economy. These are
terms used to describe the desired (and often purely conceptual) transformation of the
private sector, from one of often flagrant resource use and disposal into a sustainable
and ecologically concerned industry.
?The eco efficiency imperative is based on the idea that companies must come to
terms with the new realities of population growth, increased evidence of global
warming, ozone depletion, loss of fertile soils and forests. These new realities will
change the markets (customers attitudes) and lead to tougher government regulation.
This will change the bottom line of each company now and increasingly in the future.

they want to use the products, or enjoy the service that it provides: ?What we want
is transportation from our car, cold beer from the refrigerator, and news or
entertainment from our television? (Hawken 1993). Businesses can use this concept
as an approach to sustainability by selling a service instead of a product.
The service industry answers the call of capitalism in that people are still
purchasing and selling. But the industry deviates from the traditional consumer
driven practices because the consumer only uses the service of a product, but does
not attain ownership of the product. This shift from product consumption to the
selling of service addresses and answers the challenge that human welfare is best
served by improving the quality and flow of desired services delivered, rather than
by merely increasing the total dollar flow?(Hawkins and Lovins 1999). The
environmental benefit of an industrial service economy lies in the fact that it is
?regenerative rather than depletive, one whose products ?work within cradle to
cradle lifecycles rather than cradle to grave cycles?? (Brown).
Services Instead of Products:
The potential environmental benefit of the service economy industrial model needs
to be critically investigated. We will introduce the logic behind the concept and offer
economic arguments for and against it, go over the legal issues of leasing and lending,
and then critically look at two companies which are trying to make the selling of

Kinesins: Similar to dyneins, kinesins use microtubules to transport cargo along,
and they use the chemical energy of ATP to drive conformational changes that

Metaphase is a dynamic situation (Figure 1b iv), in that chromosomes oscillate
around the metaphase plate, reflecting a dynamic balance of pushing and pulling
forces (Helmke et al., 2013). Moreover, even though metaphase chromosomes are
held under tension while they are attached to both poles, there is a constant poleward
flux (treadmilling) of tubulin in the kinetochore MTs. This indicates that tubulin
subunits are constantly added at the kinetochores and lost at the centrosomes.
During anaphase A (when chromosomes move towards the poles; Figure 1b v),
chromosomes are pulled towards spindle poles by MT shortening at kinetochores
(depolymerisation of MT plus ends) and the poleward flux (depolymerisation at MT
minus ends); the relative contribution of these two forces varies between cell types
(Walczak and Heald, 2008). During anaphase B (when poles move apart; Figure 1b
vi), elongation of polar MTs results from the pushing force generated by kinesin 5
motors located in the zone of MT overlap. In addition, dynein motors located at the
cortex contribute to pole separation by pulling on astral MTs. Both of these latter
mechanisms are reminiscent of those that appear to separate centrosomes at
25. Dentistry, Dentistry And Oral Hygiene
In society, dentistry and oral hygiene has been overlooked and is viewed as a luxury.
Dentistry plays a large role in American culture and has evolved extensively since it
has begun. Today, the world of dentistry there have been multiple innovations with
advancements in diversity, inventions, dental health and diseases. The ADA defines
dentistryas the evaluation, diagnosis, prevention and/or treatment (nonsurgical,
surgical or related procedures) of disease, disorders and/or conditions of the oral
cavity, maxillofacial area and/or the adjacent and associated structures and their
impact on the human body ( ADA Definition of Dentistry )
To start, dental care has been around since 7000 BC, tools dentist have used have
even been found in ancient graveyards all over the world. Researchers have found
drilled teeth in graveyards were hard to reach molars. Although it is speculated
drilling could have been a decorative or replacement of evil spirits. ( The History of
Dentistry ) Since dental care wasn t popular until the 1700s, underclass citizens
were not able to get the proper care they need, they hand made tools themselves.
Underclass citizens experienced painful dental care, the tools were primitive and
the operator (person doing so) had either none or little experience. This is why
having access to dental coverage is important, without it individuals are at risk of
leaving detrimental oral diseases untreated. There are nearly 82 million people who

Body:
There are many steps involved to importing a car from the United Kingdom to
Australia. With the right information and an expert import team, you can make the
process less complicated.
Things to Know Beforehand
The Australian government places stringent restrictions on the vehicles they allow on
their public roads. These restrictions vary based on the car type. Before applying for
an import permit in person, visit the Department of Infrastructure and Regional
Development website to find out precisely what they require from you.

Before you apply, understand that traditional financiers are hesitant to provide import
loans. Specialty import financiers such as Harley Finance can provide private car
finance for import vehicles.
Short term Imports
A VIA is not required for short term imports; however you are not allowed to sell the
vehicle when importing under these terms. A roundtrip import is especially complex.
For this kind of import, make sure you hire an experienced importer such as Dazmac
a maritime and automotive import specialist to ensure the best possible outcome.
Quarantine Inspection
Before your vehicle leaves the United Kingdom, make sure to have it thoroughly
cleaned. The Australian Department for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF)
will inspect the car and charge extensive cleaning fees if the vehicle carries foreign
debris.

73,000 people sit on waiting lists for a kidney 18 of them will die tomorrow and
6,000 more patients join the list every year (Monti, 2013, p. 1). To get needed
organs, many people have proposed the idea of selling organs to persuade the general
public to give organs instead of donating and make the availability greater. Currently
in America, the only way to obtain an organis to have it donated by someone who is a
match, which greatly revolves around family members and friends. If a family
member is not a match, then the patient gets put on a waiting list that may take
months to fulfill. This has turned wealthier patients to buying illegal organs off the
black market. Furthermore, it creates an unfair advantage for the wealthier patients...

Wealthier people have more opportunities using their money. For example,
Marchione (2015) states, Wealthy people can better afford the tests and travel to
get on more than one transplant center s lists (p.5). These events are something
that an individual in the lower class can not do. Even if a poor patient has a more
serious condition, the wealthier patient can take the availability of that organ
away. Also, according to Marchione (2015), Multiple listed patients are more
likely to get a transplant and less likely to die, a recent study shows (p.1). This is
stating that patients who are on more lists are getting their needed organs, making
the organs availability for the less fortunate go down. Selling organs also creates
an unfair advantage because it can destroy altruism. Altruism is the medical term
meaning to promote someone else s success, when an individual is at risk of their
own wellbeing. According to Ireland (2008), Studies suggest that a profit based
system will destroy altruism and reduce the number of kidneys for the poor from
live donors and cadavers (p. 1). This makes the act of being selfless and caring go
away from the process of organ donation. It creates an advantage for the wealthy
because a lower class individual is only selling the organ for money. Therefore, this
builds another circumstance for the poor when wanting to sell organs to needy
patients. The underprivileged sellers

Kingdom of Heaven what s True from False
The movie Kingdom of Heaven took place during medieval times. The movie is
some what factual but certain parts of the movie are based on false elements. The
movie s factual elements began with the first crusades, which began in 1144 and
ended in 1149. The fight between the Muslims and Christians over the Holy land
Jerusalem ended with the Christians giving the Holy Land to the Muslims. The
Kingdom of Heaven is a good movie but, not historically correct . It explains what
happens during the first crusade but, they were inaccurate with the characters. This
film is not as historically correct as other movies could be, but has a good
understanding in some areas.
There are many accurate characters in this film. Balian is a great character, but is
not truly portrayed by Hollywood. Balian never was a blacksmith, and his wife
never committed suicide, he also knew his father, but was legitimate to him. Balian
and Sibylla never were never involved with one another but, his brother Baldwin ,
had some love interests. Balian also never traveled to Jerusalem, he was already

The concert that I attended was played by Michael Kirkendoll on Wednesday,

about the disturbing tale of a man that explains how he murdered his wife. The
second piece, De Profundis, talked about a distal longing for love from a
homosexual man who was arrested because of who he loved. The first piece,
Marriage, Mile 55 From the Road, was played as a piano solo, with other forms of
instrumentation coming from Kirkendoll using his voice including both lyrical
dictation and simple sound effects. He also used the piano as a percussion
instrument and a string instrument by slapping and hitting the wooden sides and
reaching over into the belly of the piano and plucking the strings like a guitar. There
was not a specific tempo used for this song, as it changed many times because the
lyrical parts. Many times, the lyrics would dictate tempo. Dissonance was used
mainly because of the minor notation. This fit perfectly into the horror theme that the
composer was trying to express in his work. There was not a defined tempo as
Kirkendoll changed the timing in order to build suspense and further the plot. To my
untrained ears, Kirkendoll sounded like he was jumping around on the keyboard
rather than keeping a specific tempo. The musicbeing played was complex to play,

Psychological Impacts of Attachment Disorder The theory of attachment was
originally developed by John Bowlby, a British psychoanalyst who was attempting to
understand the extreme anguish experienced by infants who had been estranged from
their parents. Attachment is the term developmental psychologists use to describe the
emotional bond between infants and one or more adults. Attachment is like a
security blanket. It allows infants to venture out and explore, returning to the adult as
a place of protection. It is a building block for future relationships and for the
development of the child s personality. Most infants display a secure attachment: a
balance of exploration and play with the desire to remain near their mothers or...

The relationships between attachment classification, psychopathology, and
personality traits during adolescence, undergoes a process of individuation,
separation and profound socio emotional changes. Throughout this period, attachment
functions as a stress regulator, mediating internal security and proximity access, while
emotion regulation is often linked to an increased rate of psychopathology
(Rosenstein Horowitz, 1996). Baby s attachments develop in the following sequence:
o Up to 3 months of age Indiscriminate attachments. The newborn is predisposed to
attach to any human. Most babies respond equally to any caregiver. oAfter 4 months
Preference for certain people. Infants they learn to distinguish primary and secondary
caregivers but accept care from anyone. oAfter 7 months Special preference for a
single attachment figure. The baby looks to particular people for security, comfort
and protection. It shows fear of strangers (stranger fear) and unhappiness when
separated from a special person (separation anxiety). Some babies show stranger fear
and separation anxiety much more frequently and intensely than others, but
nevertheless they are seen as evidence that the baby has formed an attachment. This
has usually developed by one year of age. oAfter 9 months Multiple attachments. The
baby becomes increasingly independent and forms several attachments. These results
indicated that attachments were most

Everybody has to grow up and someday, a future career has to be chosen. This
choice is very difficult and hard for some people. Two great choices would be a
mathematician and an aerospace engineer. Mathematician and aerospace engineering
are two interesting and unique job choices, but are highly different and offer different
opportunities. These jobs have different working styles, outlooks, environments,
education needed, and salary. These jobs are also similar in a lot of ways.
First of all, aerospace engineering and mathematicians offer different working
styles and job descriptions. The skills needed for this job are very similar, but at the
same time very different. Aerospace engineers design and test aircraft, make sure
planes are safe, and find ways to improve airplanes to make them safer. They can
develop many things for aviation, defence systems, and spacecraft(Sokanu). They can
specialise in military planes and helicopters(OOH). They can also specialise for
spaceships and rockets. Aerospace engineers need to know a lot about physics. One
thing they do is test aircraft that they just designed(Educating Engineers). They
mainly work under two different descriptions. They may either be an aeronautical
engineer or an astronautical engineer. Aeronautical engineers do a lot with aircraft,
while astronautical do a lot with spacecraft(OOH). Both aeronautical engineers and
astronautical engineers design and test things to make their flying safer, but they just

Women have for many years struggled with balancing the demands of home, children
and work. This is especially true for young single mothers who do not have the
support of family.
I Stand Here Ironing written by Tillie Olsen is a short story that reflects on the
struggles of a single mother who looks back on the past and tries to assess the
effect her decisions and circumstances had on her young daughter, Emily. This story
is part of the awarding winning collection, Tell Me A Riddle, which was first
published in 1961 (Wolfe). This story is considered the most autobiographical of
Olsen s literary works (Piedmont Marton). The title of the story is taken from the
stories opening line, I stand here ironing, and what you asked me moves tormented
back and forth with the iron (Bauer, Olsen). The story is one of the best examples
in literature, and certainly one of the first, to offer readers a glimpse into the lives
of the working class women and families from a woman s perspective. (Piedmont
Marton) This story illustrates Olsen s particular concern with the difficulties faced
by women . (Wolfe) As the story unfolds, Olsen uses distinct character traits,
imagery, tone, and style to create a dramatic sense of the mother s internal debate
of her own feelings. The tone of this story is one of fear, regret, and guilt. The story
first leaves the reader with impression that it may be a recount of the life of a
daughter who was lost due to neglect. Soon it is evident

One may argue that the death penalty is a beneficial way to lower the crime rate and
prevent future fraud. However, deterrence does not reduce criminality whatsoever.
Those who truly believe that deterrence defends the execution of a human life have
not actually proved that the death penalty is truly a deterrent. Most individuals who
commit murders do not even expect to get caught at the time due to their anger and
passion during the killing. As difficult as it may be, imagine yourself in the moment
of committing a crime. Do you immediately say to yourself, I must weigh my
differences, will I get on death row or spend the rest of my life in prison? No. It is a

study econometric and believes the research does not capture other outside factors
that feed into the murder rate (Murray). The complete argument is an individual must
examine a study before completely relying on its facts. Overall, there is no statistical
evidence that capital punishment reduces the rate of murder. The psychological mind
set of the criminal is not capable of considering their consequences during the time of
committing a murder. There are underlying factors as to why a person wants to kill
including depression, being poor, or mental health problems that need intense


In 1906, Ida B. Wells joined with William E.B. DuBois and others to further the
Niagara
Movement, and she was one of two African Americanwomen to sign the call to form
the NAACP in 1909. Although Ida B. Wells was one of the founding members of the
National Association for the Advancement of Colored People(NAACP), she was
also among the few Black leaders to explicitly oppose Booker T. Washington and
his strategies. As a result, she was viewed as one the most radical of the so called
radicals who organized the NAACP and marginalized from positions within its
leadership.
W.E.B. Du Bois:

felony for someone to not to stop if one is injured. Chapter six of the Utah handbook
42. Arch Bridge And The Bridge
Arch bridge is one of the most popular types of bridges, it came into use over 3000
years ago and remained in height of popularity until industrial revolution and
invention of advanced materials that make architect to create other modern bridge
designs. However, even today arch bridges remain in use, the arches can be built on
much larger scales with the help of modern materials. Its curved design is the basic
principle of arch bridge, it does not push load forces straight down, but instead they
are transported along the curve of the archto the supports on each end. These
supports (called abutments) carry the load of all of the bridge and are responsible for
holding the arch in the accurate position stable position. Transporting of forces across
the arch is done through central keystone on the top of the arch. Its weight pushes the
surrounding rocks down and outward, making entire structure very rigid and strong.
Function
An arch bridge is a curved bridge with abutments at each end. Arch bridges work by
transferring the weight of the bridge and its loads partially into a horizontal thrust
restrained by the abutments at either side. For a specific construction method,
especially for masonry arches, the proportions of the arch remain similar no matter
what the size: wider arches are thus required to be taller arches. For a semi circular
arch, the height is half of the span. Bridges across deep, narrow gorges can have
their arch placed entirely beneath a flat roadway, but
44. The National Nursing Shortage
The national nursing shortage is an ever growing concern, and it is essential for
healthcare organizations to confront the looming issue. Possible solutions to the
nursing shortage include retaining older nurses who are looking to retire, increasing
the amount of students graduating from nursing schools, and drawing nurses back
to the bedside who have left the nursing workforce (Hatcher, 2006). Leaders must
assess the nursing turnover in their organization, and they must strategize on ways
to retain those nurses. Organizations must implement techniques to retain older
nurses to help combat the national nursing shortage and prevent a national
healthcare disaster (Keller Burns, 2010). The purpose of this paper is to identify
the demographic breakdown of an organization, explain how the organization s
environment is conducive and non conducive for older workers, and describe
tactics to retain older workers. Demographic Data Southern Ohio Medical Center
is a 222 bed hospital in Portsmouth, Ohio. The organization employs 2,414 full time
and part time employees (Southern Ohio Medical Center, 2015). The employees in
the organization cover a broad range of ages with 79% of employees being female
(Southern Ohio Medical Center, 2015). Employees under the age of 25 years old
constitute 13% of the employees within the organization and employees between the
ages of 26 years old and 34 years old constitute around 24% of employees in the
organization (Southern Ohio Medical Center,
45. Personal Statement On Decision And Risk Management
that I am really eager to take a learn about, and it is a class on decision and risk
management. With that class I am hoping to gain the critical thinking process
needed to make big decisions financially and to lead my future employees and co
workers wisely when those decisions need to be made. I know that to be a good
engineer I will have to stay up to date on current events and advancements in the
world of technology, and I believe that the classes outlined in the academic plan of
study will truly be a benefit to me in acquiring the necessary skills that this job will
require. Although I have researched the topic of my career choice in systems
engineeringextensively, I still have so many questions about it. I am eager to know
how long it will take for me to climb the ladder and work my way up through each
job before I could potentially become something like a project manager. I have
decided to reach out to some people in this career that can better inform me on
questions like this, because I want to fully know what it is that I am getting into.
I know that to be a successful engineer, I will have to learn much more than just
academic topics, and I am prepared to do so. I know I must learn attention to
detail, I must learn to make sense of hard and complex problems, I must learn to be
a team player while leading along side of my co workers, and I must learn to form
the excellent technical knowledge to figure out solutions to problems. A little mishap

46. Hog Waste In North Carolina
Hog farms are plentiful in North Carolina, but the 40 million gallons of untreated hog
waste created everyday creates more than just a foul smell. Hog waste creates huge
environmental, health, and economic issues, such as excessive nitrates in
groundwater, the disruption of the thyroid, and the decrease of land value. Due to the
number of hogs and how inefficiently the wasteis being disposed of, this is becoming
an increasing problem in North Carolina. The threat to the environment, our health,
and the economy could be significantly reduced by using cleaner and more efficient
ways to dispose of the waste, such as anaerobic digesters. The problem with the hog
farms is the inefficient disposal of the waste. There are 10 million hogs in North...

The waste contains large amounts of nitrogen and phosphorous, the primary
ingredients in fertilizer for plants. This causes the plants to grow faster, so when
the waste gets into waterways it can cause algae blooms. The algae can block out
the sunlight from other organisms in the water. Algae grows very quickly and dies
very quickly. The decomposing algae uses the dissolved oxygen in the water
which is essential to the lives of the organisms in the water. It causes a dead zone,
an area where it is difficult for organisms to live there. The excessive nitrates in the
waste can cause more than environmental problems, it can also be detrimental to
our health. The nitrates can get into the groundwater and the surface water.
Excessive nitrate exposer can cause blue baby syndrome, the disruption of the
thyroid, and bladder cancer. Communities near the hog farms can also suffer from
respiratory problems, anxiety, depression, and sleep disturbances. Humans can
acquire more than 40 different types of diseases from the hog waste. Experts
believe that the swine flu outbreak of 2009 2010 was caused by storing it in giant
lagoons. Along with environmental and health issues, hog waste creates economic
problems. Land value goes down in the communities near the farms due to the health
risks and the foul smell. Property tax is based on land value, so when the land value
is low, the local
47. The Trade Markets And East Asian Economies
As intended in the Global Europe strategy, the EU attempted to widen its trade
market to East Asian economies. South Korea was the first for the EU to start that
aim. Generally, tariffs on over ninety percent of goods are expected to be removed
within 3 years and a total elimination of tariffs within 7 years for South Koreaand
within 5 years for the EU (Hwang and Kim, 2014). According to an econometric
estimation, the most beneficial sector from the FTA should be the service sector,
which could be liberalised up to seventy percent of the total (Copenhagen
Economics and Francois, 2006). The level of the developments of agricultural trades
between the two sectors was stationary as there is a large gap of surplus; the EU
exported 1.39... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As seen above, South Korea suits a perfect partner for DG Trade s strategies: one it
allows to open markets for their exporters and two it exchanges pockets of protection
such as service sector and automotive sector (Siles Brugge, 2011). Nonetheless,
negotiations experienced difficulties as the South Korea negotiators were not acting
as offensively as the European officials would want to. For example, European
negotiators suggested a substantial market access offer whilst Korean negotiators
wished a rather modest submission (ibid). This strategic behaviour from the Korean
side eventually brought more opportunities for the Korean automotive industry as an
exchange to the service sector, although Korean negotiators had to comply with the
standardisation of non tariff barriers. The major issues on non tariff barriers on
automobiles were safety and environmental standards as the EU insisted the Korean
automobiles to be standardised with the regional market as the orientation of their
procedural regulations (Hwang and Kim, 2014). One of the propositions of the EU
was to standardise the level of regulation on non tariff barriers as the level of
regulations
49. Main Causes Of Ww2 Essay
Causes of WW2
The main causes of world war 2 were alliances, politics and money. After world war
1, the german empire was very low on supplies and the great depression came. During
the great depression, the people though that a democratic country wouldn t work, and
they thought that they needed a more powerful leader. They choose Adolf Hitleras
their leader, which caused the democratic government, to lose power. When Hitler
came into power, he blamed the jews for everything that the germans hated, including
the Treaty of Versailles . People somehow always believed in Hitler, and thought that
they should follow him. In the end, he started forming alliances with Italy and empire
Japan.

After world war 2, countries in the Axis powers (Japan, Germany, and Italy) lost lots
of land. For Japan, they lost all of their land except their main land.
Germany, was the worst. After they lost world war 1, they got punished by the
Treaty of VErsailles , but after world war 2, they lost even more land and were
punished severely. They knew that if they took another risk, then they would have no
land.
Italy on the other hand, was not that bad. After Mussolini got hanged the Allied
powers did not do anything much to Italy, which caused it to still have lots of power
over their own land, but not power against other land.
Adolf Hitler and the Axis powers Adolf Hitler was the Nazi leader during ww2.
People usually say that he was the main reason for the start of world war two.
Mussolini, the dictator of Italy, was another big part of the Axis powers. He was
persuading the Italians to join the war. He was later hanged, because of the
destruction that he brought to
Italy.
Hirohito, the Japanese emperor was the leader of Japan during world war 2. He was
