Computer Security And Forensics And How They Affect Many...
This research paper will be about computer security and forensics and how they affect many other
fields. The research paper will go over what exactly is computer security and each and every branch or
field that is essential for our everyday lives. This paper will explain the importance and the ways we
can use security in each of the fields too. Computer security and forensics is an essential discipline
that is utilized by many different fields.
So what is computer security anyway? According to the University of California Santa Cruz it is
... The protection of computing systems and the data that they store or access (University). To them
computer security is important because Enabling people to carry out their jobs, education, and

(University) There are many other reasons why computer security is important, but those are just a
few. It can also help protect the virtual fields such as finances, medical, and military fields the as well
as the academic fields. According to the University of California Santa Cruz, computer security
follows the 90/10 rule. The lock on the door is the 10%. People remembering to secure the lock,
checking to see if the door is closed, ensuring others do not prop the door open, keeping control of the

Why Did The General Sherman End The Civil War
One of the most colorful characters of the civil war was a General named William T Sherman. During
the period of the war (1861 1865),General Sherman went full circle from being forced to retire on
trumped up charges that he was insane, to becoming a key player in bringing this bloody war to a
close. On Sherman s ¨March to the Sea¨he and his men stole food and livestock and burned the houses
and barns of people who tried to fight back. The Yankees were ¨not only fighting hostile armies, but a
hostile people,¨ Sherman explained. Here are three reasons why sherman s march needed to happen.
First, someone needed a tactic to end the war. It was its third year in the civil war and people didn t
want it to go on any longer so with Sherman s ¨Total War¨ tactic it did just that and ended the war in
1865. Without it who knows how much longer the Civil war would of lasted. ... Show more content on

Shemans acts help change the way the war was fought by using his tactic which as I said before
helped end the civil war. Third, the purpose of the ¨March to the Sea¨ was to frighten Georgia´s
civilian population into abandoning the Confederate cause which it did. Sherman believed that the
confederacy derived its strength not from its fighting forces but from material and moral support of
sympathetic southern whites. If he destroyed their farms, railroads, and houses he knew the confederate
war effort would collapse. It did and the North won the war because of

Sports Persuasive Research Paper
North Sydney Bears and Mounties could not be separated for the second time this season, battling it
out for a 34 all entertaining affair.
Mounties scored two tries in the final four minutes, and Mitch Cornish locked up the scores on the
fulltime buzzer with an outstanding conversion from out wide.
Cornish and Cody Walker stood out for their respective teams in a game that had twelve tries, a sin
binning, a Latrell Schaumkel hatrick, and a controversial yet exciting final five minutes.
This match marked the return Kirisome Auva a, who positively contributed by setting up two tries and
scoring one himself.
Cornish threw a great pass for Gus Aiga to score the first try of the afternoon, and then were

Walker dropped the ball off the kickoff and Mounties took full advantage through Stewart Mills, who
was hit a hole after receiving a Cornish pass.
Mounties led 10 6 after 25 minutes and had been the dominant side, but they would concede 16 points
before they would next touch the ball.
Auva a put his stamp on the game when he made a powerful linebreak and fended off a defender in his
30 metre raid, before passing the ball off to Schaumkel to score his second try.
Off the kickoff set, Auva a was in on the action again when he found some space down the left edge
and got a magic ball to Walker who was steaming through. Walker darted away and passed the ball to
Schaumkel who completed his hatrick after just 29 minutes.
Darren Nicholls scored their third consecutive try when he spun out of the defensive line to burst
through and put the ball down.
Nicholls converted his own try to complete what was nothing less than a Bears rampage, and 22 10

After the financial crisis in 1998 and the decrease of imported ice cream, the market offered good
opportunities for new domestic entrants. They often already owned the facilities where they produced
for example frozen food and so it was relatively easy to change to ice cream production. With the
needed assets they already possessed they did not face economies of scale and high initial costs as
barrier to entry. And the new regional producers try to compete with the product differentiation by
selling cheaper no name brands. The threat of entry from international producers could also rise again,
if the Russian economy seems to be stable again. Now it will be look at the threat of rivalry for Ice Fili
coming from established competitors in the industry. Ice Fili s fiercest competitors were international
firms who had higher technology standards and better know how than the Russian companies. But
after the economic crisis in 1998 many of them, such as Ben Jerry s, left the Russian market. Those
who stayed invested in domestic production facilities and produced directly in Russia, as for example
Unilever, Baskin Robbins and Nestlé. By 2001 Unilever had almost withdrawn from the Russian ice
cream market due to lack of experience to deal specially with ice cream and the poor distribution of its
products. Baskin Robbins is still present. It has focused on the restaurant and café segment and offers
its brands at exceptionally high prices. As

Landolt Iodine Clock Lab Report
The importance of conducting this experiment is to discover the rate reaction of the Landolt Iodine
Clock. This reaction is used to display the chemical kinetics in action, it was discovered by Hans
Heinrich Landolt in 1886. It is where two colourless solutions are combined and no instant change
appears but over a certain time delay depending on the factors it will instantly change to a dark blue.
The Chemical kinetics of the reaction refers to the rate of the reaction. Different reactions occur at
different rates, for example if it is a proton transfer reaction which is an acid base reaction it will often
occur at a faster rate. When the molecules collide in the reaction they must have a sufficient amount of
kinetic energy so that the reaction can be initiated. The amount of kinetic energy is generally
dependant on the temperature of the reaction, at higher temperatures there is a higher rate of reaction
because of the increase of kinetic energy in the reactant molecules. The arrhenius equation was formed
in 1899, by chemist Svante Arrhenius it was from a combination of activation energy and the
distribution law. The arrhenius equation is used in science to calculate the relationship between the
rate of a reaction and its increase or decrease in temperature. If a reaction has higher temperatures
with low activation energy it tends to favour increased rate constants. The equation is in relation to k,
which refers to the rate constant in any given equation. With the

Prometheus And Zeus Start From Different Sides Of An...
Originating from different sides of an ancient and bloody war, Prometheus and Zeus start from
different ends of a spectrum. As a young god, Zeus is thereby a young ruler. His inexperience in ruling
is obvious. Zeus had established his reign by violently overthrowing his father in a bloody war and
spread his rule through subjugation. By imprisoning Cronus and the Titans in Tartarus and appointing
his relatives and children in positions under him, Zeus forcefully raised himself into the position of a
supreme ruler. Zeus knows no methods apart from vigorous and powerful ones in order to maintain his
authority. In the beginning of the play in which Prometheus is being chained to a rock, Power and
Force act as agents of Zeus and command Hephaestus. Zeus is defined by strength and harshness.
They are the characteristics that have exalted him to his high position as a supreme ruler and they are
now used to pave his way toward absolute dominance. He is harsh, as all those new to power are harsh
(Aeschylus 2). Zeus s cruel methods are noticed and even criticized by those who serve him.
However, none oppose him because of the fear Zeus instilled into them. And all the same I am
required to bear it: it s hard to set aside my father s words (Aeschylus 2). Hephaestus shows discontent
towards Zeus s decisions and only shows obedience because he is afraid of Zeus. Though he does not
oppose Zeus, he sympathizes with Prometheus as he chains him to a rock. Aah Prometheus, I m sorry

Examples Of Moral Ambiguity In The Kite Runner
Moral Ambiguity is when someone s morals are unclear. The author of the Kite
Runner is Khaled Hosseini. The Kite Runner is about two kids from Kabul who were kite runners.
They were separated due to the Taliban. Hosseini´s purpose for having morally ambiguous characters
is to keep the readers entertained and to encourage the reader to want to keep reading the story. In the
Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini Baba is morally ambiguous because he never claimed Ali as his
friend, but he also owned an orphanage, a carpet export business, also he owns a restaurant that he has
both Ali and Hassan working in. Baba is one of the main characters and he is also Amir´s dad. Another
reason Baba is morally ambiguous is because he thinks Amir is the reason

Why Does Dance Matter
Dance can be defined in multiple ways than one such as a pure exercise for some while for others for,
a vital source in their life. All in all, dance has and will always play an influential part in the world we
live in. Dance matters because it represents history and culture, it s a form of expression, and lastly,
dance is entertainment. To begin with, the history and culture aspect of why dance matters is important
due to the fact that it gives insight to those who lack understanding of where and how the dance
movement started. For an example, in chapter 1, it states that the classical court dance of Cambodia
over the decades has become the crucial identity of the what the country represents. Thus, this is a
prime example of how all ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Dance gives people an outlet to express themselves and is frequently known as a healing outlet for
those dealing with personal struggles throughout their life. Whether happy or sad, people incorporate
these emotions into the way that they dance. Despite, the form of expression it may be, a person is
showing it through their performance. For instance, the Hindu dance which originates from India can
be defined as the body, mind and soul connection. And it focuses completely on what each move
expresses from each individual. In general, Dance can primarily be therapeutic and can purify the
mind and body. Furthermore, another key importance as to why dance matters is because dance is
entertainment. As mentioned, dance can be a form of expression for most, but for many others
watching, it can be seen as a pure pleasure and very entertaining overall. Either it be a result of
showing up in movies, plays, or live performance, dance has found a way to wow crowds for
centuries. Including the most popular shows in modern time such as Dancing with the Stars and
America s Got Talent. Dance has always captivated the eyes of people of all ages and will continue to
rise in the entertainment

Evil Atop the Mountain of Power in The Crucible by Arthur...
There is an understood social order and staying in one s place retains balance and order in a
community or even a country. The leaders at the top are recognized to be equipped with great minds,
worthy of the peoples trust, and strong enough to make the unpopular decisions. These substantial
men in all their glory sit atop a mountain out of reach to the common man. Never would we encounter
them misusing their power for personal gain or to act under the confines of tradition that no longer
serve society justly. In the crucible the Puritans of Salem trust their divinely appointed ministers to
sweep away the evil among them. The devout and loyal colonists wouldn t expect the guardian
ministers to become the very evil they were set upon crushing. In the case that the conductor stumbles
off their intended path this error may be caught when it is too late. The train is gaining speed
consuming more and more fuel and amassing raw power. One cannot stop the train to question its new
and controversial path. In Good Night and Good Luck nuclear warfare could become reality at any
moment. America s worst fear and most hated enemy is the communist. Junior senator McCarthy takes
this opportunity to be the gallant defender of The Union. Common sense says anyone engaging in
criticizing him must be a communist and an enemy of the state. Contrary to this type of defense logic
is the possibility the procommunist critic is actually the voice of reason and truth that America
desperately needs to

The Importance Of The Florentine
The Italian language like many of the other languages in the world is derived from Latin. Some other
languages derived from Latin are French, Spanish, Portuguese and Romanian. These 5 languages
along with Italian make up the romance languages. The Italian language is a well known adaptation of
the Latin tongue that was spread all through the empire by conquering Roman armies. The spread of
the romantic languages began in the Italian peninsula and Sicily then spread to France, Spain and
Portugal. Soon after that these romantic languages began spreading to western Germany, southern
Germany, Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, Romania. Later on they spread to Morocco, Algeria, and
Tunisia.
The Italian dialect is focused around the vernacular spoken in Tuscany and more acutely Florence.
This authentic improvement can be followed back to the social and political prominence of Florence
and all of Tuscany in the 1300s. Tuscan authors, for example, Dante, Petrarch and Boccaccio have
written some of their most celebrated works in the Tuscan Florentine dialect, giving this specific
tongue notability and importance. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This work turned into the etymological model for all the writers who followed him who did not want

the main dialect of Italy, yet it is spoken in southern Switzerland, in parts of Croatia, and in parts of
the French territories of Corsica and Savoy as well. Notwithstanding standard Italian, numerous
Italians speak the vernacular of their region or city, which can vary in noteworthy routes from the
authority dialect. In Italy, there are additionally various etymological and ethnic minorities who still

Hybrid Cars And Hybrid Electric Vehicles
In the present generation where automobiles are very important in daily life, there is two types of cars
i.e. Gasoline vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles, hybrid electric cars which used quite a while but
not as much as their gasoline counterparts. The difference between these two cars is mainly the
Engine, tank, and the source on which the cars work. The hybrid electric vehicle is more a
computerized and electric version where it switch between running on gasoline and electricity. Other
than that major changes, these cars are fundamentally the same. The body and the maneuvering design
of these are fundamentally the same. Hybrid cars were few to come by when they were initially
introduced, but current climate change and pollution issues have encouraged people to opt for the
cleaner and greener version of the automobile. Although both kinds of automobiles are being used,
there are a lot of aspects where these automobiles can be differentiated. A few comparisons between
these two vehicles is stated below.
1. HISTORY:
a. Hybrid: This type of engine vehicles were invented in the 19th century but it came into market in
early 2000 and gained popularity in the 2005 from then on many started to use this type of vehicles.
b. Gasoline: This type of vehicles were invented in 1876 in Germany and the usage of these cars was
from 1882 and it is still very much in demand in the market for its features.

Mexican American And Mexican Americans Essay
Introduction
One of the largest Hispanic origin population in the United states are Mexicans (Gonzales Barrera
Lopez, 2013). Mexican American s are considered minorities in the United States. There are many
reason why I am choosing to explore Mexican Americans for this paper. As a minority myself, I can
relate to some of the struggles that Mexican American s may face. However, there are some things that
I will never relate to or know the personal aspect of the Mexican culture. Just like any other
population, Mexican Americans have their own culture, values, and challenges.
Strengths
Mexican Americans find their strength through their culture, family, relationships and networks.
Mexican Americans have strengths with their extended family. Mexican American families frequently
function within extended family networks that include godparents and members of other families
(Miley, M., L., 2013). There is more advantage when you have more network with extended family
and other families. It essentially means a larger support system. One of the major strengths of
Mexican American families is a quantitative rather than a qualitative difference from other ethnic
groups (Miley, M., L., 2013). Some people may not realize that Mexican Americans tend to stick
together and support each other because it is a part of their cultural background. Just like religion is a
part of Mexican American s cultural background as well. Most of the time Mexican American s share
similar spiritual

The Pros And Cons Of The Stamp Act, And The Tea Act
Some of the ways in which the colonists responded to British actions between 1765 and 1770 were the
Stamp Act, the stationing of British troops in Boston, the Townshend Act, and the Tea Act 33. The
Stamp Act was put in place so the colonist would pay tax on every legal paper, license, newspaper,
and almanac. The stationing of British troops in Boston were because the Boston and Philadelphia
both agreed to not give goods or take good from Britain until the Stamp Act was taken away. The

Sexual Exploitation Of The Police Station
I have been involved in a number of activities in my placement at Wright Chambers, mostly to do with
criminal matters rather than civil. I have accompanied Nick and a client to the Hindley Street Police
Station. We met with Nick s client and the client s wife outside of the station and Nick gave him some
brief directions about not saying anything, even if he believed it would help his situation. At the time,
I did not know what the client was being accused of, and it turned out that it was persistent sexual
exploitation of his niece. I felt confident but somewhat wary that I had to maintain my friendly (if that

Before I end my placement, I would like to have more to do with clients before their matters reach

already been done prior to the matter before it reaches Nick because he is briefed by solicitors, and
sometimes by the Commonwealth or State DPP. Of course I understand the issues surrounding liability
so I cannot conduct the interviews myself, but I was disappointed to have so little do with the clients
prior to reaching trial. The extent of the client contact that I have had is the police interview, and
another occasion at the District Court in an area where the accused stayed and spoke with Nick, not at
any great length. This is something that I should have considered before deciding to do my placement

emotional clients, and making sure that I ve provided the correct legal advice to those clients, I have
missed out on a great opportunity for my professional development, specifically regarding client
contact. This is something that I hope to address before the end of my placement, and it is something
that I regret not having considered at any earlier

Analysis Of Tomb Of The Warrior
The Wonders of Woodturning
Woodturning is the action of shaping wood with a lathe (Webster s). The lathe is a machine for
turning, that is, for shaping articles of wood, metal, or other material, by causing them to revolve
while acted upon by a cutting tool (Webster s). While writing my research paper I will research many
things such as: different types of woodturning, the education and training it takes to become a
woodturner, the salary that one makes with this being a career, the pros and cons of being coming a
woodturner, also the tools and techniques to using a lathe. The history of woodturning goes back to
before the third century ( Brief ) It is proven that the Etruscans were the developers of wood turning.
Tomb of the Warrior is where the first piece of turned wood found in that area ( Brief ). The Etruscans
were not the only people using the lathe in this time period ( Brief ). A bowl is the oldest artifact that
has been discovered ( Brief ) The bowl was discovered before the sixth century ( Brief ) Throughout
the years the lathe has been advanced. The earliest making of the lathe is from a known Egyptian wall
relief carved in stone in the tomb of Petosiris dated some 300 BC ( King ). Middle Eastern and eastern
lathes of this type was operated at ground level by two men ( King ). One person provides the power
by pulling backwards and forwards on a cord or leather strap wrapped around the object while the

The Issues Surrounding The Idea Of Immunization Essay
In this assignment I intend to explore the issues surrounding the idea of immunization. The purpose of
immunization is to prevent people from acquiring infectious diseases and to protect them against the
associated short and longer term complications (Cory, 2012). Vaccines produce a specific immune
response to build resistance against infectious diseases (Government of South Australia, 2012). There
are two main perspectives surrounding this issue, for and against receiving injections. Those who
support immunization believe the risk is minimal because the benefits exceed the negative effects that
may occur from the injections. However, other people feel there is huge risk involved because the
injections will not increase immunity levels and the possibilities of negative reactions are too great of
risk. This conflict of perceptions is related to the way people perceive cognitive limitations, the
psychometric paradigm and the axiomatic paradigm; these include factors such as dread, control and
voluntariness. A great influence on these perceptions is health professionals communication strategies,
who target social media, advertisements and reports.
The concept of risk means different things to different people. In order to make decisions wisely,
individuals need to understand the risks and the benefits associated with alternative courses of action.
(Baruch Fischhoff, 1993). Many health risks can arise from an individual s subjective judgment, as
people interpret their

Riding the Black Cockatoo Company Sin Representation Essay
Representations Seminar
Riding the Black Cockatoo and Company Sin Matthew Magin
The land is my mother, my mother is the land. Land is the starting point to where it all began. (S.
Knight)
Words are powerful tools that can be used to represent people and shape opinions about others. In a
similar way, certain actions and our treatment of other cultures demonstrate our understandings and
acceptance of, different beliefs and cultures. Two texts that support these statements and include
representations of Indigenous Australian culture and beliefs are: Riding the Black Cockatoo by John
Danalis and Company Sin by John Butler Trio.

Indigenous Australians do not own the land. They see it as part of them and that it is their duty to
respect and look after their mother earth. They use the land to live on, to gain food from, to make
items they need and then to return their ancestors to the earth, when they pass on. This is a different
concept to the culture White Australians have grown up with. Danalis has to explore his own
prejudices and realises that he lives in a nation with some, who are trying to come to terms with both
heritages, cultures and beliefs.
Indigenous Australians bury their ancestors on what average Australians see as prime land, where
profits could be made from farming or mining. Indigenous Australians do this, as they believe they
can: ...enter the spirit world and become one with their mother... the Earth... Calling the earth their
Mother, solidifies Indigenous Australian s strong connectivity of their spiritual heritage with the land.
This is something that White Australians do not have in their heritage. The Indigenous people care for
and love the earth they live on. They have a spiritual connection to it, not just a physical one. Simply,
this is not part of how White Australians view the land and it is not part of their heritage.
The idea that the average Australian is ignorant to the Indigenous culture is a paramount

Egyptian Pyramids In Ancient Egypt
One of the first examples of a pyramid built in ancient Egypt was the Pyramid of Djoser. It s the oldest
of the 130 pyramids in Egypt. It is what you would call a step pyramid. The Pyramid of Djoser was
built around 4650 years ago or 2640 BC. The pyramid was built in Saqqara, which was a part of the
Old Kingdom s capital, Memphis. Pyramid of Djoser was made, like most pyramids, to hold the
mummified remains of the area s pharaoh, King Djoser. The bottom floor/layer of the pyramid was a
square mastaba, in other words, an ancient Egyptian tomb. The other five layers were the same kind of
structure but gradually getting smaller each new level. The pyramid was designed by Imhotep, who
was known by many as the father of ancient Egyptian stone architecture. He made it 204 feet tall
making the tallest structure of its time. The tomb with the pharaoh s remains was made underneath the
ground with a network of tunnels in attempts to stop any kind of robbery. The pyramid is made out of
limestone. Its base is 109 m × 125 m (358 ft × 410 ft). The whole complex has walls about 10.5 feet
high and made out of limestone along with everything inside the walls. Right outside the walls, there
is a trench that is 750 m long and 40 m wide. Its purpose is said to be so it was more difficult to get
into the complex. It also had a roofed colonnade, which just included many stone pillars with a roof.

Ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, And Mesopotamia
In ancient Egypt, Rome and Mesopotamia the connections that the people had with their rulers
stemmed from their belief that their ruler had a close connection with their God s. Because of the vast
role that religion played in their lives it was important to show their admiration and appreciation for
these royal beings. From a psychological standpoint, through their style, significance, and idealization,
Mesopotamia, Egypt and Rome s depictions of royalty within their artworks functioned as the best
way to encompass the impression, and supremacy that a ruler held over their people.
For many of the people of Mesopotamia the most important part of their society was their religion and
their royalty. They believed that they held close relationships with their Gods and they believed that
their rulers were the closest possible connection that they had to their Gods. An ancient Sumerian
proverb states Man is the shadow of God, but the king is God s reflection (Alexander). The king was
believed to be personally chosen by the gods and acting in their will however they were not
considered to be god like.
The king s responsibilities included participating in religious rituals, managing the state during peace
and war time, and creating laws. The Mesopotamians believed that in order to protect themselves they
needed to gain more resources and people and this was done by expanding and conquering
surrounding areas. Another role of the king was to issue codes of law with the ideal that he

Given these results, the potential for cost cutting via the implementation of a dynamic bidding system
on a widespread scale at Sun was enormous; on an annual basis, the company was currently spending

Frederick Douglass And Anne Moody
In 1619, when the first Africans were brought into Jamestown, Virginia to aid in the production of
crops on the farms of Caucasian landowners, a period in our country s dark history began, and with it
a struggle for equality and freedom. For over 200 years, slavery consumed the United States,
compelling blacks to long and later fight for the freedom their fair skinned counterparts had stripped
from them. Decades later, the oppression of black rights marked the beginning of another struggle;
one for basic rights that the black population had been denied. During these struggles, several names
would come to mind for their achievements and efforts against racism and slavery, names like
Frederick Douglass and Anne Moody. Frederick Douglass paved his own road to freedom while Anne
Moody put her life on the line fighting for the rights that she knew she deserved. Although time
frames apart, both Frederick Douglass and Anne Moody were able to resist and fight racism due to
their thirst for knowledge, the help they extended towards other blacks, and their faith in succeeding
despite previous failures. Although Frederick Douglass was a slave and Anne Moody a free woman
with a century between them, both were able to defy racism by making the most of their education.
Slaves were not expected to read or write, and even after the abolition of slavery, blacks were thought
to be uneducated and unintelligent. Frederick Douglass, upon receiving only a short period of

Soccer On The East Coast
It has been said that when one gets injured, one never realizes it until you look at the wounded body
part. No statement is more genuine than that. An individual forgets the details of how they got injured.
The if, how, and whys are only noticed later on when you look back and analyze what had occurred.
More often than not, a lot of different things are to blame. Could it be the slip and slide, the angle, or
just a personal mistake? For some reason, I believe it was the first one, and that could explain why I m
scared of slip and slides.
You must be asking yourself what could have possibly happened that led to this erratic fear of slip and
slides?
Soccer on the East coast is an enormous spectacle. Like football in the south and basketball in Indiana,
soccer in the fall is an attraction that closes towns and turns neighboring schools into blood rivals.
Conditioning begins in June, but the real season doesn t start until the third week of August when first
week commences. First week of practice is the most challenging and fulfilling. Friendships that last all
season, as well as team foundations, develop that first week. That first week defines your season
before you complete a pass or attempt a shot.
The first week is unmerciful. Three or four hour practices, two a days; the heat makes you question
your decision to play every minute of every day. That last Friday practice, however, always ends on a
softer note. The team pickup game, ice bath, slip and slide, and a bonfire

My Life Of Sports
Sports are a substainsal part of my life. As a person, I am very competitive and I love watching sports

I ve been playing softball since I was four, and nothing has been able to tear me from the field ever

opportunity to be able to work and play a team sport with amazing people and friends. Along with
softball, I also enjoy basketball and football. My basketball career was brief (due to my shortness), but
I follow the NBA and I m a Warriors and Celtics fan. I have always kind of wished I could play
football, but I enjoy watching the Packers and Broncos, and follow college football go Hawks! My life
is immesly influenced by sports, and I can credit sports for an abundance of memories and years of
fun.
My other, more uncommon sport I compete in is baton twirling. Twirling is a rare and complex sport
that not many compete in, and for that reason, I am known to some as that twirler girl . Baton is like
smashing different types of dance, gymnastics, and aerobics into one, then adding one or a few, silver

2.2.2 Cleansing Data
Data cleansing is the process of removing incorrect, inappropriate and duplicate data. It can also be
called data cleaning or data scrubbing. Not cleansing the data will lead to inaccurate and unreliable
results. During the process of cleansing data, if dirty data is detected, it will have to be modified and
will therefore cause delays within the process. Dirty data can be caused by the following:
Members of an organization are poorly trained and will therefore enter data erroneously.
Inaccurate system configuration rules are applied.
Regular data updates are neglected.
Inconsistent or lack of validation rules.
Duplicates are not removed.
Data cleansing can be performed within single or multiple sets of data. Usually problems within single
data sets are due to misspellings when entering data of that they have left out missing information
when inputting. When problems occur within multiple data sets e.g. in a data warehouse, the need to
cleanse data increases greatly. This is because the data is more than likely to have redundant data from
different sources, and will therefore have to make sure all

Compare And Contrast Prepositions
Prepositions are one of the basic structures that make up the whole sentence. Even though some
sentences can hold meaning without the help of prepositions, others need it in order to be completely
understood. When first learning how to translate and interpret English to Vietnamese or vice versa,
students can face some difficulties regarding the use of prepositions. In both languages, it is
undeniable that prepositions occur at a high rate of frequency in written or spoken form; however,
they have different roles in term of characteristic and usage with a few similarities. Therefore, this
paper s purpose is to compare and contrast prepositions in English and Vietnamese to give students a
fresh perspective about prepositions and guide them how to use prepositions appropriately.

different in different languages? . That was the reason that made me first think of this topic when

Chinese Culture Of Hong Kong
From the historical aspect, the society of Hong Kong inherited characteristic from the British colonial
era but still the influence of China is heavy. Hong Kong has a closely connection with mainland China
due to geographical proximity and 95% Chinese immigrants with of its population help to maintain
the identity among Chinese in Hong Kong, despite they tend to blend of both oriental and Western
elements(Tsu, 2014).
Although the British colonial government in Hong Kong did not have any intention to fade Chinese
identity, the colonial education system did not cover much about contemporary China(Luk, 1991) .
Due to the gap in ideological and material conditions between Hong Kong and mainland China, the
perception on identity and issues of nationalism/patriotism between many Hong Kong s Chinese
people and the Chinese government are different (Tsu, 2014).
Conflict in Social system
Apart from that, a far more mature and sophisticated social system create Hong Kong s civil society,

Society:
According to Eugene M. Makar, the traditional Indian culture is defined by relatively strict social
hierarchy. He also mentions that from an early age, children are reminded of their roles and places in
society. This is reinforced by the fact that many believe gods and spirits have integral and functional
role in determining their life. Several differences such as religion divide culture. However, far more
powerful division is the traditional Hindu bifurcation into non polluting and polluting occupations.
Strict social taboos have governed these groups for thousands of years. In recent years, particularly in
cities, some of these lines have blurred and sometimes even disappeared. Nuclear family is becoming
central to Indian culture.
Important family relations extend to as far as gotra, the mainly patrilinear lineage or clan assigned to a

Among developing countries, India has low levels of occupational and geographic mobility. People

Vaccination Of Children And Children
Vaccinations in Children Is it fair to not vaccinate children because we don t want to? Because they do
not need to and they will not get sick? No. It is not fair to not vaccinate children because they won t
get sick. By not vaccinating children you are doing others harm. Every child has a different immune
system and reacts to illnesses differently. Imagine having a child with disabilities and having them
around children that have not been vaccinated. With the poor immune system autistic kids have they
would be catching every disease possible. Autism is a condition typified by abnormal qualitative
development of social interactions, communication and imagination, with restricted and repetitive
interests and activities (Edward Purssell RGN, RSCN, PhD of the University of London). What causes
autism? Many parents like to say that the vaccination MMR has caused their child to have autism later
in life. Purssell and other authors and doctors have done countless research to find out the truth about
MMR and their being a link between the vaccine MMR and autism. On February 28, 1998, Andrew
Wakefield, a gastroenterologist did a paper about eight children whose first symptoms appeared after a
month after they had received the MMR vaccine. All of those children had signs of gastrointestinal
disease. From what Wakefield observed, the MMR vaccine caused intestinal inflammation, that lead to
the blood stream and eventually to the brain where it affected development. Backing this up,

Similarities And Differences Between Huckleberry Finn And...
Character Comparison of Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer
In the book of Huckleberry Finn, Mark Twain creates two memorable characters as well as a
comparison of society and freedom. Main character Huck; is the rebellious son of the local drunkard.
He is stubborn, savage and he values freedom. As his friend and leader; Tom Sawyer is very brave and
recalcitrant, also an adventurous and great friend.
Huck is abducted by Pap, who is his drunken father. Pap captures Huck because he wants Huck s
$6000, Huck was given $6000 from the treasure he and Tom Sawyer found in The Adventures of Tom
Sawyer . Huck finally runs away from the isolated house in the forests and finds a canoe to go down
the river in. Instead of going back to the widow s house, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Huck finally gets rid of them, but is left to find his friend Jim, who got sold by the King. He ends up at
Tom Sawyer s Aunt Polly s house, where Tom and Huck rescues Jim.
Huck and Tom are very different in their lifestyles and have different personalities. Although Huck
and Tom share the bond in both being orphans, both boys mothers died when they were still very
young age and are way too smart for what they are doing; Tom lives under the care of his civilised
aunt, one who cares for him and who accepts his boyish mischiefs and behaviour. She cares for his
welfare and his wellbeing even though he often escapes home and goes. In contrast, Huck Finn is
unaided, he has no home, and his father is the town drunkard who utterly disregards his son, when he
is drunk, he often beats his son brutally. In the end of the book, Mr. Jones is the first adult who ever
took Huck into a private home.
While Tom can enjoy three meals a day supplied to him freely, Huck must scourge for food himself
and sometimes must sleep in a barn or just on the streets. Tom lives under the care of his sympathetic
aunt that provided him food, drinks and a cosy bed. Their attires are vastly dissimilar; Tom is dressed
like how an emblematic schoolboy would be outfitted, but Huck wears thrown out sartorial held up by
one buckle, and he often goes barefoot.
Tom goes to a respectable institute, attends Sunday school, and is invited to parties at other people s
house. Huck

Japan As A Collectivist Country
Many westerners view Japan as a collectivist country that differs greatly when comparing it to western
countries such as the United States in cultural aspects. One may explain that Confucianism plays a key
role in how the Japanese society functions. Others may argue that Japan is distinctively different and
no other country share similar traits. People can see the evidence of Japan being a collectivistic
country by comparing Japan to other countries in the concept of high context society versus low
context society. How do Japan and other countries differ in culture? Japan is regarded as a high
context society and on the other hand the United States is considered a low context society. In high
context societies, people often value relationships more than partnership. The virtue of harmony is the
main emphasis in high context societies. In the United States students are often encouraged to know
how to form an argument and debate with other people to prove their opinion and persuade other
people to agree. On the contrary, Japanese students learn about teamwork through different task and
recognize oneself as a member of the society. In Japan, people discourage competition and encourage
cooperation. Unlike the United States where children are often praised for being unique and special,
Japan tends to prefer conformity and children are advised to be just like everyone else in the group.
Although it has changed throughout the past decade, before all most all female Japanese

A Short Note On Cell Lymphomas And Its Clinical Findings...
Abstract
B cell lymphomas can be identified by many clinical findings with signs, symptoms, and changes in
the tissue. Splenic B cell lymphoma is an invasion of the b cells overtaking the normal white tissue of
the spleen. Through research, the ability to identify these clinical symptoms has been boosted. Splenic
lymphoma with splenomegaly is the classic identifier for B cell lymphomas; they may lead to
hyperslenism or complete removal of the spleen. There are various classifications of B cell
lymphomas which may be directly or indirectly related to the spleen. There are both large and small B
cell lymphomas. Small B cell lymphomas are primarily associated with nodal or extranodal
specifically, and are also associated with the gastrointestinal tract, predominantly in the stomach.
Large B cell lymphomas are associated with hepatitis C virus infection. Both large and small B cell
lymphomas are characterized as splenic lymphomas. Although the spleen is frequently involved in
distributing B cell Non Hodgkin s lymphoma, splenic presentation as the primary or only site of
disease is uncommon. Each has normal associations, risk factors, symptoms and prognoses.
Sonographically, we are able to visualize and identify such lymphomas.
Splenic B Cell Lymphomas
Splenic B cell lymphomas are a heterogeneous group of diseases involving several entities that
demonstrate overlapping features. Diagnosis of these lymphomas has been reliant on the
histopathologic examination

Gentrification In The City
Currently, policymakers are mostly concerned with the economic impacts a policy will have. While
economic factors are important when evaluating and analyzing policies, there needs to be more of an
emphasis on the social impacts policies have, especially when it comes to community development
policies. Although it is not the only issue with currently popular community development policies,
gentrification is one of the most problematic and enlightening conflicts of our time. The core issue
with gentrification is it does not benefit the people who are most marginalized in the city. One can
argue it improves neighborhoods by bringing business development, improving housing, and
increasing median incomes, but these benefits do nothing to help the ... Show more content on

The government cannot keep ignoring the disproportionately negative impact on marginalized groups
and disadvantaged neighborhoods that the current strategy has had. Policies should aim to benefit the
most disadvantaged, which will require the government to implement equity over equality. Policies
will need to acknowledge differences between different groups and people. In addition, community
development policies should increase citizen participation, which will make the city more a collective
right for everyone, instead of just for the powerful and wealthy. These goals will help steer the
community development strategy away from issues such as gentrification that ignore the needs of the
marginalized, and will instead focus specifically on helping those who need help the most. This does
not mean policymakers need to disregard economic impact entirely in policy analysis, but they should
also recognize social impact and focus on the economic impact for the most disadvantaged
communities in the

Moore s prediction is based on the assumption that one cannot pass a certain limit after increasing

It is usually not surprising when political figures are stripped down by the media because they had an
unfortunate past. This revelation of personal history gets manipulated as it travels from mouth to
mouth, which has a profound impact on the image of these candidates. I personally believe that these
candidates have less of a chance to be elected because the majority of the social media tends to
highlight the damaging information.
Essays Programming Languages
Programming languages are a set of instructions or grammatical rules, which are used to make
applications and software on computers (Beal). There are many programming languages, which are
used extensively in modern day computer science, some of which are C++, Python, HTML,
FORTRAN, Ruby and Pascal. They were initially created by computer scientists to simplify
calculations and to perform repetitive tasks with ease. These languages are one of the core components
of a computer and they facilitate the creation and functioning of complicated applications and
softwares. Figure 1 Components of a computer (Source: Anthony)
The first language was, perhaps, assembly language. It is a low level programming language which
requires an assembler to translate it machine code ( Assembly ). Such languages were tedious to use
but were much simpler than the new, more sophisticated languages. Fortran was the first high level

  • 4. Why Did The General Sherman End The Civil War One of the most colorful characters of the civil war was a General named William T Sherman. During the period of the war (1861 1865),General Sherman went full circle from being forced to retire on trumped up charges that he was insane, to becoming a key player in bringing this bloody war to a close. On Sherman s ¨March to the Sea¨he and his men stole food and livestock and burned the houses and barns of people who tried to fight back. The Yankees were ¨not only fighting hostile armies, but a hostile people,¨ Sherman explained. Here are three reasons why sherman s march needed to happen. First, someone needed a tactic to end the war. It was its third year in the civil war and people didn t want it to go on any longer so with Sherman s ¨Total War¨ tactic it did just that and ended the war in 1865. Without it who knows how much longer the Civil war would of lasted. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Third, the purpose of the ¨March to the Sea¨ was to frighten Georgia´s civilian population into abandoning the Confederate cause which it did. Auva a put his stamp on the game when he made a powerful linebreak and fended off a defender in his 30 metre raid, before passing the ball off to Schaumkel to score his second try. Off the kickoff set, Auva a was in on the action again when he found some space down the left edge and got a magic ball to Walker who was steaming through. Walker darted away and passed the ball to Schaumkel who completed his hatrick after just 29 minutes. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... After the financial crisis in 1998 and the decrease of imported ice cream, the market offered good opportunities for new domestic entrants. They often already owned the facilities where they produced for example frozen food and so it was relatively easy to change to ice cream production. With the needed assets they already possessed they did not face economies of scale and high initial costs as barrier to entry. And the new regional producers try to compete with the product differentiation by selling cheaper no name brands. The threat of entry from international producers could also rise again, if the Russian economy seems to be stable again. Now it will be look at the threat of rivalry for Ice Fili coming from established competitors in the industry. Ice Fili s fiercest competitors were international firms who had higher technology standards and better know how than the Russian companies. But after the economic crisis in 1998 many of them, such as Ben Jerry s, left the Russian market. Those who stayed invested in domestic production facilities and produced directly in Russia, as for example Unilever, Baskin Robbins and Nestlé. By 2001 Unilever had almost withdrawn from the Russian ice cream market due to lack of experience to deal specially with ice cream and the poor distribution of its products. • 7. Landolt Iodine Clock Lab Report The importance of conducting this experiment is to discover the rate reaction of the Landolt Iodine Clock. This reaction is used to display the chemical kinetics in action, it was discovered by Hans Heinrich Landolt in 1886. It is where two colourless solutions are combined and no instant change appears but over a certain time delay depending on the factors it will instantly change to a dark blue. The Chemical kinetics of the reaction refers to the rate of the reaction. Different reactions occur at different rates, for example if it is a proton transfer reaction which is an acid base reaction it will often occur at a faster rate. When the molecules collide in the reaction they must have a sufficient amount of kinetic energy so that the reaction can be initiated. The amount of kinetic energy is generally dependant on the temperature of the reaction, at higher temperatures there is a higher rate of reaction because of the increase of kinetic energy in the reactant molecules. The arrhenius equation was formed in 1899, by chemist Svante Arrhenius it was from a combination of activation energy and the distribution law. The arrhenius equation is used in science to calculate the relationship between the rate of a reaction and its increase or decrease in temperature. If a reaction has higher temperatures with low activation energy it tends to favour increased rate constants. The equation is in relation to k, which refers to the rate constant in any given equation. With the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. Prometheus And Zeus Start From Different Sides Of An... Originating from different sides of an ancient and bloody war, Prometheus and Zeus start from different ends of a spectrum. As a young god, Zeus is thereby a young ruler. His inexperience in ruling is obvious. Zeus had established his reign by violently overthrowing his father in a bloody war and spread his rule through subjugation. By imprisoning Cronus and the Titans in Tartarus and appointing his relatives and children in positions under him, Zeus forcefully raised himself into the position of a supreme ruler. Zeus knows no methods apart from vigorous and powerful ones in order to maintain his authority. In the beginning of the play in which Prometheus is being chained to a rock, Power and Force act as agents of Zeus and command Hephaestus. Zeus is defined by strength and harshness. They are the characteristics that have exalted him to his high position as a supreme ruler and they are now used to pave his way toward absolute dominance. He is harsh, as all those new to power are harsh (Aeschylus 2). Zeus s cruel methods are noticed and even criticized by those who serve him. However, none oppose him because of the fear Zeus instilled into them. And all the same I am required to bear it: it s hard to set aside my father s words (Aeschylus 2). Hephaestus shows discontent towards Zeus s decisions and only shows obedience because he is afraid of Zeus. Though he does not oppose Zeus, he sympathizes with Prometheus as he chains him to a rock. The leaders at the top are recognized to be equipped with great minds, worthy of the peoples trust, and strong enough to make the unpopular decisions. These substantial men in all their glory sit atop a mountain out of reach to the common man. Never would we encounter them misusing their power for personal gain or to act under the confines of tradition that no longer serve society justly. In the crucible the Puritans of Salem trust their divinely appointed ministers to sweep away the evil among them. The devout and loyal colonists wouldn t expect the guardian ministers to become the very evil they were set upon crushing. • 15. The Importance Of The Florentine The Italian language like many of the other languages in the world is derived from Latin. Some other languages derived from Latin are French, Spanish, Portuguese and Romanian. These 5 languages along with Italian make up the romance languages. The Italian language is a well known adaptation of the Latin tongue that was spread all through the empire by conquering Roman armies. The spread of the romantic languages began in the Italian peninsula and Sicily then spread to France, Spain and Portugal. Soon after that these romantic languages began spreading to western Germany, southern Germany, Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, Romania. Later on they spread to Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia. The Italian dialect is focused around the vernacular spoken in Tuscany and more acutely Florence. This authentic improvement can be followed back to the social and political prominence of Florence and all of Tuscany in the 1300s. Tuscan authors, for example, Dante, Petrarch and Boccaccio have written some of their most celebrated works in the Tuscan Florentine dialect, giving this specific tongue notability and importance. ... The hybrid electric vehicle is more a computerized and electric version where it switch between running on gasoline and electricity. Other than that major changes, these cars are fundamentally the same. The body and the maneuvering design of these are fundamentally the same. Hybrid cars were few to come by when they were initially introduced, but current climate change and pollution issues have encouraged people to opt for the cleaner and greener version of the automobile. Mexican American s are considered minorities in the United States. There are many reason why I am choosing to explore Mexican Americans for this paper. As a minority myself, I can relate to some of the struggles that Mexican American s may face. However, there are some things that I will never relate to or know the personal aspect of the Mexican culture. Just like any other population, Mexican Americans have their own culture, values, and challenges. Strengths Mexican Americans find their strength through their culture, family, relationships and networks. Mexican Americans have strengths with their extended family. Mexican American families frequently function within extended family networks that include godparents and members of other families (Miley, M., L., 2013). There is more advantage when you have more network with extended family and other families. It essentially means a larger support system. One of the major strengths of Mexican American families is a quantitative rather than a qualitative difference from other ethnic groups (Miley, M., L., 2013). Of course I understand the issues surrounding liability so I cannot conduct the interviews myself, but I was disappointed to have so little do with the clients prior to reaching trial. The extent of the client contact that I have had is the police interview, and another occasion at the District Court in an area where the accused stayed and spoke with Nick, not at any great length. This is something that I should have considered before deciding to do my placement at Wright Chambers, and it s something that I regret. While I haven t had the pressure of dealing with emotional clients, and making sure that I ve provided the correct legal advice to those clients, I have missed out on a great opportunity for my professional development, specifically regarding client contact. This is something that I hope to address before the end of my placement, and it is something that I regret not having considered at any earlier ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 21. Analysis Of Tomb Of The Warrior The Wonders of Woodturning Woodturning is the action of shaping wood with a lathe (Webster s). The lathe is a machine for turning, that is, for shaping articles of wood, metal, or other material, by causing them to revolve while acted upon by a cutting tool (Webster s). While writing my research paper I will research many things such as: different types of woodturning, the education and training it takes to become a woodturner, the salary that one makes with this being a career, the pros and cons of being coming a woodturner, also the tools and techniques to using a lathe. The history of woodturning goes back to before the third century ( Brief ) It is proven that the Etruscans were the developers of wood turning. Tomb of the Warrior is where the first piece of turned wood found in that area ( Brief ). The Etruscans were not the only people using the lathe in this time period ( Brief ). • 24. The Issues Surrounding The Idea Of Immunization Essay In this assignment I intend to explore the issues surrounding the idea of immunization. The purpose of immunization is to prevent people from acquiring infectious diseases and to protect them against the associated short and longer term complications (Cory, 2012). Vaccines produce a specific immune response to build resistance against infectious diseases (Government of South Australia, 2012). There are two main perspectives surrounding this issue, for and against receiving injections. Those who support immunization believe the risk is minimal because the benefits exceed the negative effects that may occur from the injections. However, other people feel there is huge risk involved because the injections will not increase immunity levels and the possibilities of negative reactions are too great of risk. This conflict of perceptions is related to the way people perceive cognitive limitations, the psychometric paradigm and the axiomatic paradigm; these include factors such as dread, control and voluntariness. A great influence on these perceptions is health professionals communication strategies, who target social media, advertisements and reports. The concept of risk means different things to different people. In order to make decisions wisely, individuals need to understand the risks and the benefits associated with alternative courses of action. (Baruch Fischhoff, 1993). Many health risks can arise from an individual s subjective judgment, as people interpret their ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This is a different concept to the culture White Australians have grown up with. It is what you would call a step pyramid. The Pyramid of Djoser was built around 4650 years ago or 2640 BC. The pyramid was built in Saqqara, which was a part of the Old Kingdom s capital, Memphis. Pyramid of Djoser was made, like most pyramids, to hold the mummified remains of the area s pharaoh, King Djoser. The bottom floor/layer of the pyramid was a square mastaba, in other words, an ancient Egyptian tomb. The other five layers were the same kind of structure but gradually getting smaller each new level. The pyramid was designed by Imhotep, who was known by many as the father of ancient Egyptian stone architecture. He made it 204 feet tall making the tallest structure of its time. The tomb with the pharaoh s remains was made underneath the ground with a network of tunnels in attempts to stop any kind of robbery. The pyramid is made out of limestone. Its base is 109 m × 125 m (358 ft × 410 ft). The whole complex has walls about 10.5 feet high and made out of limestone along with everything inside the walls. Right outside the walls, there is a trench that is 750 m long and 40 m wide. Its purpose is said to be so it was more difficult to get into the complex. Because of the vast role that religion played in their lives it was important to show their admiration and appreciation for these royal beings. From a psychological standpoint, through their style, significance, and idealization, Mesopotamia, Egypt and Rome s depictions of royalty within their artworks functioned as the best way to encompass the impression, and supremacy that a ruler held over their people. For many of the people of Mesopotamia the most important part of their society was their religion and their royalty. They believed that they held close relationships with their Gods and they believed that their rulers were the closest possible connection that they had to their Gods. An ancient Sumerian proverb states Man is the shadow of God, but the king is God s reflection (Alexander). The king was believed to be personally chosen by the gods and acting in their will however they were not considered to be god like. The king s responsibilities included participating in religious rituals, managing the state during peace and war time, and creating laws. Frederick Douglass And Anne Moody In 1619, when the first Africans were brought into Jamestown, Virginia to aid in the production of crops on the farms of Caucasian landowners, a period in our country s dark history began, and with it a struggle for equality and freedom. For over 200 years, slavery consumed the United States, compelling blacks to long and later fight for the freedom their fair skinned counterparts had stripped from them. Decades later, the oppression of black rights marked the beginning of another struggle; one for basic rights that the black population had been denied. During these struggles, several names would come to mind for their achievements and efforts against racism and slavery, names like Frederick Douglass and Anne Moody. Frederick Douglass paved his own road to freedom while Anne Moody put her life on the line fighting for the rights that she knew she deserved. For some reason, I believe it was the first one, and that could explain why I m scared of slip and slides. Society: According to Eugene M. Makar, the traditional Indian culture is defined by relatively strict social hierarchy. He also mentions that from an early age, children are reminded of their roles and places in society. This is reinforced by the fact that many believe gods and spirits have integral and functional role in determining their life. Several differences such as religion divide culture. However, far more powerful division is the traditional Hindu bifurcation into non polluting and polluting occupations. Strict social taboos have governed these groups for thousands of years. In recent years, particularly in cities, some of these lines have blurred and sometimes even disappeared. Nuclear family is becoming central to Indian culture. Important family relations extend to as far as gotra, the mainly patrilinear lineage or clan assigned to a Hindu at birth. In rural areas it is common that three or four generations of the family live under the same roof. Patriarch often resolves family issues. Among developing countries, India has low levels of occupational and geographic mobility. People choose same occupations as their parents and rarely move geographically in the society. Family: India for ages has had a prevailing tradition of the joint family system. It s a system under which even extended members of a family like one s parents, children, the children s spouses and their offspring, etc. live together. The ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 46. Vaccination Of Children And Children Vaccinations in Children Is it fair to not vaccinate children because we don t want to? Because they do not need to and they will not get sick? No. It is not fair to not vaccinate children because they won t get sick. By not vaccinating children you are doing others harm. Every child has a different immune system and reacts to illnesses differently. Imagine having a child with disabilities and having them around children that have not been vaccinated. With the poor immune system autistic kids have they would be catching every disease possible. Autism is a condition typified by abnormal qualitative development of social interactions, communication and imagination, with restricted and repetitive interests and activities (Edward Purssell RGN, RSCN, PhD of the University of London). What causes autism? Many parents like to say that the vaccination MMR has caused their child to have autism later in life. Purssell and other authors and doctors have done countless research to find out the truth about MMR and their being a link between the vaccine MMR and autism. On February 28, 1998, Andrew Wakefield, a gastroenterologist did a paper about eight children whose first symptoms appeared after a month after they had received the MMR vaccine. All of those children had signs of gastrointestinal disease. From what Wakefield observed, the MMR vaccine caused intestinal inflammation, that lead to the blood stream and eventually to the brain where it affected development. Backing this up, ... • 48. Japan As A Collectivist Country Many westerners view Japan as a collectivist country that differs greatly when comparing it to western countries such as the United States in cultural aspects. One may explain that Confucianism plays a key role in how the Japanese society functions. Others may argue that Japan is distinctively different and no other country share similar traits. People can see the evidence of Japan being a collectivistic country by comparing Japan to other countries in the concept of high context society versus low context society. How do Japan and other countries differ in culture? Japan is regarded as a high context society and on the other hand the United States is considered a low context society. In high context societies, people often value relationships more than partnership. The virtue of harmony is the main emphasis in high context societies. In the United States students are often encouraged to know how to form an argument and debate with other people to prove their opinion and persuade other people to agree. On the contrary, Japanese students learn about teamwork through different task and recognize oneself as a member of the society. In Japan, people discourage competition and encourage cooperation. Unlike the United States where children are often praised for being unique and special, Japan tends to prefer conformity and children are advised to be just like everyone else in the group. • 50. A Short Note On Cell Lymphomas And Its Clinical Findings... Abstract B cell lymphomas can be identified by many clinical findings with signs, symptoms, and changes in the tissue. Splenic B cell lymphoma is an invasion of the b cells overtaking the normal white tissue of the spleen. Through research, the ability to identify these clinical symptoms has been boosted. Splenic lymphoma with splenomegaly is the classic identifier for B cell lymphomas; they may lead to hyperslenism or complete removal of the spleen. There are various classifications of B cell lymphomas which may be directly or indirectly related to the spleen. There are both large and small B cell lymphomas. Small B cell lymphomas are primarily associated with nodal or extranodal specifically, and are also associated with the gastrointestinal tract, predominantly in the stomach. Large B cell lymphomas are associated with hepatitis C virus infection. Both large and small B cell lymphomas are characterized as splenic lymphomas. Although the spleen is frequently involved in distributing B cell Non Hodgkin s lymphoma, splenic presentation as the primary or only site of disease is uncommon. Each has normal associations, risk factors, symptoms and prognoses. Sonographically, we are able to visualize and identify such lymphomas. • 51. Gentrification In The City Currently, policymakers are mostly concerned with the economic impacts a policy will have. While economic factors are important when evaluating and analyzing policies, there needs to be more of an emphasis on the social impacts policies have, especially when it comes to community development policies. Although it is not the only issue with currently popular community development policies, gentrification is one of the most problematic and enlightening conflicts of our time. The core issue with gentrification is it does not benefit the people who are most marginalized in the city. One can argue it improves neighborhoods by bringing business development, improving housing, and increasing median incomes, but these benefits do nothing to help the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The government cannot keep ignoring the disproportionately negative impact on marginalized groups and disadvantaged neighborhoods that the current strategy has had. Policies should aim to benefit the most disadvantaged, which will require the government to implement equity over equality. Policies will need to acknowledge differences between different groups and people. In addition, community development policies should increase citizen participation, which will make the city more a collective right for everyone, instead of just for the powerful and wealthy. These goals will help steer the community development strategy away from issues such as gentrification that ignore the needs of the marginalized, and will instead focus specifically on helping those who need help the most. This does not mean policymakers need to disregard economic impact entirely in policy analysis, but they should also recognize social impact and focus on the economic impact for the most disadvantaged communities in the ... Essays Programming Languages Programming languages are a set of instructions or grammatical rules, which are used to make applications and software on computers (Beal). There are many programming languages, which are used extensively in modern day computer science, some of which are C++, Python, HTML, FORTRAN, Ruby and Pascal. They were initially created by computer scientists to simplify calculations and to perform repetitive tasks with ease. These languages are one of the core components of a computer and they facilitate the creation and functioning of complicated applications and softwares. Figure 1 Components of a computer (Source: Anthony) The first language was, perhaps, assembly language. It is a low level programming language which requires an assembler to translate it machine code ( Assembly ). Such languages were tedious to use but were much simpler than the new, more sophisticated languages. Fortran was the first high level ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
