For my 30 minute dream counseling session, I worked with my mom. We share
our dreams frequently with each other so it seemed very natural to do this session
with her. We sat alone together in the living room and I asked her to tell me her
whole dream with as much remembered detail as possible, just like we do in class
when we do dreamwork.
While we do share our dreams frequently, it s usually more in levity than in
analysis, so the dynamic was immediately different than it usually is. She took
more care in explaining her dream, and I made sure to write down everything she
said, mirroring her to show that I was listening. I tend to be a very empathetic
person in general, especially when it comes to my mother. However, I tried certain
techniques to show my empathetic listening to her. I responded to what she told me

farmers and their families having no place to go and having to live in poverty. The
audience is first drawn to the billboard that is partially cut off from our view. This
is because the photographer is trying to reel one into what lies beneath the sign.
There are chairs, tables, and other living items that are all places beneath as if their

The spread of Protestantism was only throughout Europe and did not go to the
other continents; America, South America, Asia and Africa. A man named Martin
Luther, began the Protestant Reformation because of his want to separate from the
Catholic Church, and by using the printing press, got his ideas to most parts of
Europe. Princes and leaders did not want to be controlled by the Catholic Church
and the Pope, so they joined Luther s Protestantism. By creating another branch of
Christianity did change some people s worldviews who believed it, but did not
affect the whole world. During the Renaissance Era one of the major shifts was
becoming more curious and exploring new things, and moved away from religion

My Visit To Detroit
One piece of architecture I had the pleasure of visiting is the Michigan Central
Station. An icon if there ever was one, representing Detroit s rise and fall. It is so
structurally sound demolition experts say would cost an estimated $5 10 Million just
to demolish and anywhere from $100 300 million to renovate. More of an issue for
Detroitis finding a function for the forgotten station. It was built by the same
architects as New York Citys Grand Central Terminal. In service from 1913 to 1988,
The Beaux Art style was very influential during its conception. There is the train

I had not had the opportunity to fully explore it in its entirety unfortunately as I did
not want to leave my car unsupervised for long being in Detroit and all. I still have
dreams about it. What is it like in the infamous basement corridors? What is the
view from the top? One thing I would like to see is when Detroit bounces back,
MCS also being brought back to its former glory as a testament to what Detroit is.
Until then, this 500,000 square foot building will stand, like its predecessors of
classic design in ruin. The 18 story tower, never completely utilized, was intended
to accommodate a hotel and/or offices and the top floors were never served for any
function. There is not much I can say that has already been observed but from my
perspective, sneaking into MCS as an adolescent made me feel like I was in a

Romeo And Juliet Reading Analysis
Introduction: How d He Do That? Recognizing patterns can make reading easier by
helping me comprehend what it is that I am reading. Memory. Symbol. Pattern.
These are the three items that, more than any other, separate the professional

the author used when writing, I am able to better understand the structure of the
chapter, the plot of the story, the point of view of all the characters and the
language used. A time when my appreciation for a literary work was enhanced by
my understanding of a symbol or pattern was when I was reading Shakespeare s
Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare wrote in iambic pentameter whenever a character
of a higher class spoke. It was easier to understand and keep track of who is who
when I understand if what I was reading had a meter or not. It made it easier to
decipher whether the prince was talking or a servant was. Also, recognizing the
pattern of Romeo and Juliet finishing each other s sentences in iambic pentameter
made reading that great play a bit easier for me to understand. Chapter 1: Every Trip
Is a Quest (Except When It s Not) The 5 aspects of the QUEST are (a) a quester, (b) a
place to go, (c) a stated reason to go, (d) challenges and trials en route, (e) a real
reason to go there. Item (a) is easy: a quester is just a person who goes on a quest.
