could argue back, the criminals could shift to using a knife, a knitting needle, a
steak bone to inflict harm. The same can, and will likely apply to trying to stop the

I have lived in Columbia for all my life. I have lived in two different houses in a
matter of fourteen years. There are some days that I want to forget because I hated
what I did that day, also, there are some days in Columbia that I will never forget.

Aldo Leopold is on the forefather of modern environmentalism. His book, A Sand
County Almanac, is based on the notion of viewing land as a community and as a
commodity. In the chapter The Land Ethic , Leopold invokes a rethinking of our

explains that the rules for socializing were originally defined for human beings. These

cars, and even people and animals. Global Warming is a major concern because it
affects all life forms and is changing the earth entirely. As the problem continues to
grow, individuals must do their part to help prevent it. The biggest pollutants in our
atmosphere are Carbon dioxide, Methane, and nitrous oxide. Carbon dioxide is
released into the atmosphere by burning fossil fuels such as coal, natural gas and oil
for energy. Electricity production is the biggest cause of carbon emissions in the
United States. Transportation is the second biggest cause of emissions and factory
production is the third biggest cause. Humans and animals also play a small role
in carbon emissions because we exhale carbon dioxide. Transportation mainly
consists of personal automobiles which is why the search for a new way to power
