 Road safety in the country is managed by the
Government at the Central and State levels
supported by efforts of academia and the
private sector including industry and non-
governmental organizations (NGOs).
 Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in
the Government of India is the
administrative ministry responsible for
road safety efforts in the country
