Impact of the Recession on the US Auto Industry Essay
Introduction As the nation was introduced into the current recession, the auto industry and its labor
was likely hurt more than any other industry. Few years ago it was the homebuilding industry that
was troubled the most and held the first place, but it gave that position over to the auto industry the
following year. Why was this industry affected more than any other is very interesting and complex
situation. There are several factors why there was such a huge negative impact on this industry, its
performance, and the labor involved. Some of the major reasons are very high foreign competition,
higher oil prices, and certainly the recession. The Auto Industry In the United States, modern car
manufacturing has been historically... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Ford s F Series experienced a 46% drop in sales for 2006 compared to 2007, making a once most
wanted truck in the United States almost abandoned by the consumers. The second and the current
recession that began in 2007 brought a new wave of impact on the auto industry. At the time banks
were more flexible with approving loans and the interest rates were low which attracted a lot of
consumers into the housing market. Since many of them were not able to afford it, eventually they
turned to foreclosure leaving them with debt and no credit worthiness; thus, banks started raising
the interest rates on auto loans. But foreign competition, higher oil prices, and higher interest rates
were not enough to destabilize the auto industry on such a scale; it was the recession that shocked it
the most. According to Martin B. Zimmerman, Chief Economist and Executive Director for
Governmental Relations and Corporate Economics Ford Motor Co., it is the auto industry that
depends on economic cycles more than any other industry. Drastic manufacturing cost cutting
continued for the next two years until there was almost nothing more to reduce or lay off. This
downturn of the economy began a long lasting unemployment rise in Michigan that eventually
reached 15.3%. In 2009, according to the Chicago Fed, there were more unemployed auto

Definition On Extracurricular Activities
Definition on Extracurricular Activities Extracurricular activities allow students to pursue interests
outside of a standardized context (Strate,1996). Extracurricular activities are the activities that
caters the students voluntary involvement that is situated at the external realm of the academic
curriculum of a school or in a university. These activities encourage students to permissively expose
themselves with others of the same age with a purpose. However, extracurricular activities are
offered to all students but volunteer activities are not always extracurricular activities. Every
activity is a students initiative in order to help others such as feeding programs, tutorials, etc. On
the other hand, extracurricular activities are not only made for the purpose of allowing the students
to do social outreach but for them to interact with others and build public relationship that would
help them along during their stay in the university. This present study aims to investigate if these

Big Panda (Amatic)
//copy//
Pandas might be one of the most dangerously endangered animals in the world right now, but the
good news is that there are plenty of them to be found in new game Big Panda videi slot. The
developers of the game Amatic like always have stayed true to the Chinese origins of pandas by
setting the 5 reels and 50 paylines against bamboo, known for being the favourite food of these
delightful creatures. Right in the middle of the bamboo is a 20 window grid packed with stacked
symbols offering multiple wins on single spins.
What becomes immediately clear is that Big Panda looks the part, but can this Amatic title match
this with exciting gameplay? The following review reveals all!
Based Behind Bamboo
The design of Big Panda video slot is nothing short of amazing. The reels are smack in the centre
of the screen, drawing your eyes to where the action is from the outset. The reels have a red
frame that looks amazing. There is a lot of detail to be found in the game, including the golden
lettering encrusting the top of the screen. The background of the game is a made of solid colours,
which just looks great on the eyes. Finally, the symbols on offer include the big pandas
themselves, Chinese lanterns, and fans. Overall, the UI of Big Panda has a real appeal, as it certainly

its associated company Abu Dhabi Petroleum Company(ADPC), formerly Petroleum Development

The intensified power struggle between oil companies and host governments in Middle East, along
with the oil price shocks that followed the 1973 oil crisis; meant British Petroleum lost most of its
direct access to crude oil supplies produced in countries that belonged to the Organization of
Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), and prompted it to diversify its operations beyond the
heavily Middle East dependent oil production. In 1978 the company acquired a controlling interest
in Standard Oil of Ohio or Sohio, a breakaway entity from former Standard Oil following the anti
trust litigation of 1911.[40] In Iran, British Petroleum continued to operate until the Islamic
Revolution in 1979. The new regime of Ayatollah Khomeini confiscated all of the company s assets
in Iran without compensation, bringing to an end its 70 year presence in Iran.[citation needed]

Socrates Essay
SOCRATES Socrates was a Greek philosopher who lived between 470 399 B.C. He turned Greek
attention toward questions of ethics and virtue and away from those of the heavenly bodies.
Socrates spent much time in the Agora (marketplace) where he held conversations with
townspeople. Socrates believed that real truthcould be found out through thought and collaboration
with others. He was known for exposing ignorance, hypocrisy, and conceit. Despite having many
followers, Socrateswas disliked by most Athenians. At the age of 70, he was convicted of atheism,
treason and corruption of the young. He was originally ordered to leave Athens, but chose to drink

But after Athens lost her empire by losing the Peloponnesian War and had undergone two
oligarchic reigns of terror at the hands of the gilded, Socratified rich kids, her patience with
Socrates ended. Socrates was charged in 399 B.C. with quot;impiety against the gods of the city
quot; and with quot;corrupting the young. quot; He was guilty on all counts. Socrates basic
premise of government according to Xenophon s quot;Memorabilia quot; was quot;that it is the
business of the ruler to give orders and of the ruled to obey. quot; So the ruler should have total,
unaccounted power. The second charge against Socrates, that he had corrupted the youth of
Athens, was even more damning. The foremost examples of the gilded youth he led astray was
Alcibiades and Critias, although Socrates effect on the rich young aristocratic fops was already
mentioned in Aristophanes quot; The Birds, quot; written in 414 B.C., fifteen years before he was
called to account: Why, till ye built this city in the air, _____ line 1280 All men had gone

Our greatest task is to put people to work. This is no unsolvable problem if we face it wisely and

the task as we would threat the emergency of war, but at the same time, through this employment,

We can eliminate to some extent at least the threat that enforced idleness brings to spiritual and
moral stability, in his message to Congress. On March 31, 1933 Roosevelt signed the bill into law
and just six days later, the CCC was formed. His ultimate goal was to have 250,000 men in the
forest in just three short months. (www.sos...) The CCC administration consisted of a director,
Robert Fechner, and an advisory board of representatives from the Departments of War, Agriculture,
Interior, and Labor. With the help of local boards, the Department of Labor selected the enrollees.
The War Department housed, clothed, and fed the men, and organized and administered the camps.
The Department of Agriculture and Interior planned the work projects. (Smith)

Zoloft was first introduced to the United States in 1980 s. Another name for Zoloft is sertraline

was made to treat major depressive disorder, but as the drug progressed over time it can now treat
panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, and premenstrual dysphoric
disorder. Zoloft is the most commonly used antidepressant because it works extremely well, it is

Zoloft can be taken with other drugs and will not have any synergistic effects. Furthermore there
are no antagonistic effects, when you take Zoloft there is no other drug that counteracts it that
will make you depressed. Zoloft is not necessarily an addictive drug if taken properly. If a person
takes the drug more than the prescription says and if taken at random times they can become
addicted. Other than that Zoloft is not an addictive drug, if users listen to their doctor when they
say how much to take mostly likely they will not become addicted. In some cases people who
take Zoloft become reliant on it because if they do not take it anymore they will fall back into
depression. When they become reliant they become addicted and it becomes extremely hard to
stop taking it. However these addictive effects in most cases are not physical but psychological
addicting because the drug is the only reason the user is staying normal. A treatment for Zoloft
addiction is that your doctor will begin to prescribe smaller doses over and long period of time
to get the user to become used to taking less. This process will continue until the patient is no
longer reliant on Zoloft. Zoloft is a great drug to use for patients with depression. Patients must
make sure to take the correct dosage and listen to their doctor to insure they do not get certain side
effects. Zoloft is a drug that is

Social Classes In Romeo And Juliet
In the book, Romeo and Juliet I learned about social classes and how people were supposed to
live their lives based on what class they lived in. People in this era were either born into their
classes or could marry into another class. They could also become noble by grant of the king or
queen. When reading the script from Romeo and Juliet I wanted to learn more about social classesin
the Elizabethan era. I have learned that a person s color of their shirt was an example of what
class they were in. It was considered a defiance if they wore clothes that were not acceptable in
their class. Their was six main classes in this era the monarch, the nobility, the gentry, the
merchants, the yeomanry, and the laborers. They believed it was God who made these classes. I
will be talking about the different social classes, how many social classes there were, and how they
were maintained.
In the Elizabethan era, their lives were governed by strict laws and rule. According to
Elizabethan Era, the Parliament regulated the clothes that can only be worn by each rank and it
was considered a defiance of the order if a laborer wore clothes of the rich. The Parliament
governed the citizens very strictly, and even decided what the people would wear. Stated by

Corporal Punishment And How It Affects A Child s Life
For over decades now there has been many controversial debate about corporal punishment and
how it effects a child s life. Before we even begin this whole debate, we should distinguish the
difference between child abuse and corporal punishment.Child abuse is when a parent or a
caregiver fails to act upon action like injury, death, and emotional abuse with child abusethere are
many forms of maltreatment, which includes neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse, exploitation
and emotional abuse. Corporal punishmentis when a parent or other legal guardian causes physical
pain or discomfort to a child due to misbehaving examples include spankingor slapping a child with
a hand or using a belt, slippers, and a paddle.Sometimes corporal punishment can also include
shaking, pinching, or a child being in a uncomfortable position. In fact, often times parents take it
too far when it comes to punishing their child which soon leads to a big issue.
In the Middle Age corporal punishment was used in schools, at home, and for when a person
convict a crime. Today, some schools has banned corporal punishment like in Alaska, California,
Connecticut, Delaware and many more, but should it be illegal at home also? Parents have
different opinions about corporal punishment and the way it should be used. One parent said that
they d been spanked as a child, and they turned out pretty good. (Polhemus, Betsy and Lindo, Asher,

The Reasons In Reginald Rose s Twelve Angry Men

who you are. The trial goes up to three days, finally the jurors discuss the case and come up to a

about a trial in which a teenager is being accused guilty in the murder of his own father while his
case is being reviewed by the jurors. Throughout the play Reginald Rose, the author, shows us
that not every trial that is held is actually always a fair trial. This play that was written is a good
example of a trial being treated unfair by the jurors, although at the end the case was fairly
brought to a decision. In this play most of the men are being unfair and vote guilty towards the
kid, but one stands up for him and fights the case, the author does a great job in showing that
cases are not always fair by describing each juror. Throughout the play there are good details that
show the unfairness of most of the jurors and how they rushed most of the time and just tried to get
over it. As

Ecological Concerns In The 1970s
Natural resources are a vital part of communities throughout the United States. Concerns regarding

apparent for multiple decades.
Ecological concerns have been significant, individuals and groups have tried to combat them.
Many of the ecological concerns in the 1970 s are still present today. Issues have been ongoing
for years and that fact shows how crucial the concern are. According to Mulligan (2010), The
ecological concerns of the 1970s proved an important stimulus to a broader concept of security, and
the environment became a requisite component in the new security agenda (p.82). In the 1970 s,
many people were motivated by these ecological concerns. The long term effects to the

Russian Weapons In The Middle Ages
Russian warriors in the Middle Ages developed great skills and courage during their massive
battles, which provided them with the respect and fear they desired. Many of their brutal weapons
were unique to Russia, however some originated from their Norse heritage, which they then
incorporated into their own Viking style combat. Some of their infantryskills even evolved from the
Mongols after their invasion in the 13th century. During the Middle Ages, Russian military units
had similar armory to the Byzantine military units. Very rarely did they wear a full suit of armor
and were deprived of protection, but quick maneuvers and mobility required only limited armory.

Bow and arrows were able to be made efficiently and easily, due to one simple material; a single
piece of wood. This special craftsmanship gave a ratnik, or warrior, the ability to pierce a target of
over 500 meters away. This particular weapon was based on the Mongol horse archery tactic
during the Mongol Invasion of the Russian states during the 13th century. The Russian cavalry,
or those who used bow and arrows as a main weapon, also carried with them a long curved sword
like the shashka, a type of pike, an axe, or a mace. They always carried multiple weapons at a
time in order to be prepared for any type of battle approach. The early Russians had many unique
weapons, including a large war axe, or bardiche. A pole held a large curved blade, usually 60 80
centimeters long, and was useful in battle for heavy slashing (Xenophon, 2017). A mace, or
bulava, was another weapon that the Russian cavalry and infantry carried during war. This blunt
weapon had a heavy head at the end of a handle, which gave warriors the ability to distribute
powerful blows and penetrate a plate of armor (Wikipedia, 2017). The infantry usually received
shorted maces, while the cavalrymen were given longer handles in order to better attack the enemy

Scarlet Letter And Symbolism
The Scarlet Letter and Symbolism Nathaniel Hawthorne uses many forms of symbolism in his
book The Scarlet Letter. Symbolism is, according to Merriam Webster, the art or practice of using
symbols, especially by investing things with a symbolic meaning or by expressing the invisible or
intangible by means of visual or sensuous representations. This means that the author was using
objects to represent an action or idea. The symbols used in his book is either all physical or visible
objects. Many of the symbols in the book are about characters.Nathaniel s ideas came from his

This woman was brave enough to stand on the scaffold and confess her sin, but she never did say
who the partner was in the act of the crime. Hester was also a symbol of peace. Towards the end of
the book, she ends up turning into an adviser to some of the townspeople. Her kindness towards
the town made most of them look at her from a different perspective. She would bring the homeless
clothes that she made for them and they would criticize her afterwards. Children would call her
names their parents would call her and women would give her the silent treatment or yell at her
(Hathorne). That all changed towards the end. Instead of thinking of her letter as adultery it was
now known as able . Another symbol that Nathaniel used was the sunlight. The sunlight was known
as happiness, joy, and truth. Sunlight would not be around Hester because of the scarlet letter, but it
was okay around Pearl. Mother, said little Pearl, the sunlight does not love you. It runs away and
hides itself, because it is afraid of something on your bosom (Hawthorne 202). After Hester takes

Body Dysmorphic Disorder Analysis
The popular conception of anorexia involves glamorous celebrities and supermodels, teen girls
and magazines, and is nothing like the reality of hospitals, hair loss, and, oftentimes, death.
Anorexia nervosa is the deadliest of all psychiatric illnesses and cuts across racial, age, and
gender backgrounds. The image of the white teen girl munching on ice cubes is only part of the
picture of a serious, complex, and very misunderstood disorder. When I was in high school, my
best friend Kylie* changed drastically. Her sense of style shifted and she started wearing brightly
colored sweatshirts and hair extensions. She also got her driver s license before the rest of us and
would get lunch off campus, bringing my friends and I back milkshakes and... Show more content

This notion, however, has been viewed as more antiquated in recent years, and the etiological
perception of the disorder has become a lot more nuanced. An individual s environment and social
status are perhaps more revealing risk factors than race and gender themselves. Social
communities that value thinness, such as career fields like modeling and wrestling, are specific
causal factors. Peer and family influences also contribute a great deal to disordered eating patterns.
A mother obsessed with beauty can enforce a social expectation for thinness even more completely.
Changing standards of beauty, from a Rubenesque Venus to a waifish Twiggy, have also been cited
as causal factors. The idea that society causes anorexia is powerful, but much to simplistic to fully
explain the steady increase in cases of anorexia throughout the 20th

The Afterlife In The Egyptian Book Of The Dead
The Egyptian Book of the Dead refers to a collection of ancient papyri and scrolls used for
funerary, ritual purposes in the ancient Egyptian world. Its purpose and accessibility has evolved
across the centuries, from its first known use in the Old Kingdom c.1240 BCE until the final
days of its production in the second century CE. The Book of the Dead is not actually a
completed book , but rather it is a collation of the various instructions gathered from the tombs of
Pharaohs, priests, high ranking officials and the social elite. Although the most important spells
were originally reserved for the upper class, eventually The Book of the Dead became popularised
among society and by the New Kingdom was generally common among funerary ceremonies. There
are around 192 magic spells contained in the Book, many containing subsections and all of them
varying in length and detail. Each spell pertains to a specific step in the passage through the Duat
(the Underworld) into the afterlife. The Book of the Dead tells us much about the importance of

This is because the texts were originally only created for a specific individual, such as a Pharaoh,
and this therefore led to many variations between the spells. It is only in the 26th dynasty, known
as the Saite period, where a process of standardisation began to take place, and there is a certain
organisation of the Book of the Dead into chapters. Generally, the Book is divided into four
sections: Chapters 1 16 explain the descent into the underworld; chapters 17 63 detail the origin
of the gods and the reanimation of the mummified body; chapters 64 129 describe the deceased s
journey across the sky with the morning sun as a blessed dead , and the judgment of Osiris; and

My Math Experience
My earliest math memory was in Elementary school; it was a time that I completely understood
what I was supposed to do (math wise at least). It was in middle school that I was introduced to
different math equations and formulas. At the time I had enjoyed the way that these can be
applied to the shapes that were given and the variety of ways to solve one problem. In 2013 I was
accepted into Mt. Edgecumbe High School, where the math program was one of the many aspects
that were different in comparison to the village educational expectations that I was accustomed to.
My freshman year was the beginning of a burgeoning distaste and struggle in mathematics.
The ninth grade is when I had been placed into a year long Algebra I class. The first few weeks
went smoothly, due to what I was taught at my hometown, but then I started to fall behind when we
began the computer program for math. This was the first time that I had done anything similar to
this and it was difficult to say the least. There were conflicting educational goals between the
teaching happening in the classroom and the electronic lessons on the desktop. However, fear of
failure was a major justification on my dedication to have an adequate grade in the class, even with
the frustration that came along with it. In the course of the year, I had become well educated in
many math areas. Nonetheless, now having the opportunity to look back, I now see that the
electronic program had not taught me an abundance of math as

Summary Of The End Of Days
They kissed like it was the end of days. Maxen s warm and sensuous mouth, and his eager kisses
forced all thoughts from Audra s mind, save how wonderful the weight of Maxen s muscular
body felt against hers. He was heavier than Carlton, larger, and yet she and Maxen fit together
perfectly. He tore his lips from hers and peppered her neck with gentle kisses while she eased her
hands beneath his tunic and ran her fingers up and down the warm skin of his back, appreciating
the hard muscles beneath her hands. And speaking of hard, as he kissed his way back up to her
mouth, his erection pressed into the V between her legs. He rocked his hips against hers as he
claimed her mouth again, and she wanted him, so, so badly. Maxen began to moan as his
tongue tangled with hers, and he fisted her hair. Maxen, she whispered against his mouth. She d
planned to ask him to make love to her right then, but it was as if speaking his name drew him
back into reality, for he disengaged from her and leapt up. I can t believe this, he said, shaking
his head and offering Audra a hand up. He looked her in the eye. I have done that which cannot
be undone... crossed the line into impropriety. Maxen scoffed. Who am I kidding? That was far
beyond impropriety. Don t Maxen. Please don t ruin this. He collected up their armor. I beg you

Divine Love In The Inferno
In Dante s masterwork, The Divine Comedy, Dante traverse through Hell, Purgatory, and Paradise.
He is lead through the inferno by the ancient poet Virgil, and while Virgil is still present as a guide
through Purgatory, there is a defined shift in his role. Through Inferno, he is without a doubt a
knowledgeable guide, whilst in Purgatorio, Virgilwalks behind Dante and often relies on the souls
ascending Mount Purgatory to help led the way. Dante uses this shift, and the allegorical
representation of Virgil as human reason, to show that comprehension of pure love is beyond
human reason. Dante claims that Neither Creator nor his creatures move, / as you well know... but

52 54). This is the first distinct change in Virgil s role; he goes from confident leader in the first
Canto, to perplexed bystander, eventually following Dante s idea to ascend the ledge and seek
help from the souls of Purgatory. This can be explained literally, in that Virgil is an ancient to
whom the idea of Purgatory would be foreign, but it also serves an allegorical purpose to show
the tension between love and reason. While still on the first ledge, Virgil has the assurance to
lead Dante my Guide led and I followed (IV. 24) but is still in search of someone who may serve
as guide (IV. 39). It is possible for Virgil to understand how to ascend Mount Purgatory both
because in the literal sense, he is aware that the proper path must be upwards and because though
he lacks the conception of pure love, he is still able to reach after it. On the second ledge of Ante
Purgatory, Virgil and Dante find their first additional guide, not counting Cato, who, though he
does guide the poets by way of instruction, does not actually climb with them. Sordello, a Mantuan
like Virgil, is, in a similar manner to Cato, a false guide, as he leads the poets back down the
mountain (allegorically, further into sin), in order to ascend further. Even after this descent, it is
neither Virgil, nor Sordello who eventually lead Dante to the Gate of Purgatory,

Mad Tiger Inaccuracies
Mad Tiger (2015) by Michael Haertlein and Jonathan Yi Good band documentaries often aren t
about the music or back stage antics. They focus on the struggles of the band and their often
very normal lives. Mad Tiger is a film about a Japanese punk band called Peelander Z who live and
play in NYC. It s an intimate look of the relationship between two band members and if you read
between the lines you can see where their troubles start. Peelander Z reminds me a lot of the
band Gwar. If you don t know who Gwar is you likely aren t a metal head like I am but let me tell
you they claim to be from another planet, wear crazy costumes, play simple rock music, and often

During all this turmoil we do see the band play a few small club gigs. Their music is nothing to
write home about, even Kengo says the band is based on 10% music and 90% theatre. I listened
to some of their songs and didn t like what I heard. I am not really a punk fan but it s easy to hear
that this band plays basic entry level silly sounding punk rock and doesn t focus on creating
anything interesting or original. The directors do a nice job of showing the two sides of the
band, it s self described Japanese action comic punk stage shows, and it s troubled relationships
and personal struggles. Filmmakers Michael Haertlein and Jonathan Yi have few directing
credits on IMBD but both are accomplished camera men. The cinematography in this doc at times
seems amateur but it may be a punk aesthetic they are trying to achieve but it s difficult to tell.
Most of the shots are three quarter talking head shots and I would bet the entire film was shot on
a DSLR camera. There are a few blurs, fades and slo mos and long shots but most of the action is
hand held which leads to a few focusing issues but its excusable considering the content of the doc

Dulce et Decorum Est, by Wilfred Owen and the poem To...
The two poems, To Lucasta, going to the Wars by Richard Lovelace and Dulce et Decorum Est
by Wilfred Owen are both devoted to the subject of war. Lovelace s poem was written in the 17th
century and as well as almost all the poetry of the period has romantic diction. The war is shown
as something truly worthwhile, glossed and honorable for a man. The protagonist is leaving his
beloved for the battlefield and his tone is pathetic and solemn. He calls the war his new mistress
and asks his beloved woman not to be jealous as love to her is impossible for him without honor.
In this way the overall mood of the poem is idealistic and heroic. The protagonist refers to war as a
thrilling adventure and even affection. The tone of the Owen s poem... Show more content on

As for the meter, it reminds Iambic Pentameter. Though, the conventional rhythm is broken by
the author s punctuation (exclamation points and commas as well as periods and dashes). Due
to this device the poem comes closer to prose and sounds conversational. It was probably used to
avoid song music mood and to give as much contrast as possible to the heroic poems of other
authors like Richard Lovelace. If in Lovelace s case the poem is to inspire the reader, in Owen s
work the rhythm is like a war, like death itself hard, stumbling, hopeless, fumbling, and full of
suffer. The reader suffers while overcoming all those hyphens and points inside lines. In this
way, the two poems are on the opposite sides by their inner and outer sense. As for the form,
there are a number of poetic devices which serve to fill the poems with the necessary diction. As
Lovelace s poem is easier and lighter by tone, there are not so many devices, but still the
figurative language is romantic and eloquent. The imagery is delicate and beautiful. The
innocence and pureness of the protagonist s beloved woman is described by the words the
nunnery of thy chaste breast and quiet mind ; the lover s attitude is shown by the words Sweet
and Dear ; the rush and aspiration of the hero is underlined by the metaphors of flying and chasing

Malcolm Gladwell And Dead Poets Society
Everyone has their own interpretation of the word success. Individuals might even have their own
personal explanation of how they came to be successful. However, these personal explanations are
usually incorrect. Malcolm Gladwell, Steve Jobs, and the film, Dead Poets Society have a mutual
understanding of success, making them interconnective. Although success can be interpreted in
various ways, success is attained through hidden advantages, extraordinary opportunities, and
significant intelligence.
Unfortunately, an individual s personal qualities does not explain how they became successful.
There are often hidden advantages acquired in a successful person. Certain aspects about an
individual s life can turn out to be an advantage. In the book Outliers, Malcolm Gladwell describes
the system of Canadian hockey leagues. The elegibility cutoff age for ameatur hockey leagues

Reflection Paper On Why I Want To Be A Lawyer
Lawyers are often portrayed as invidious, rigid, and odious in media, as well attract an uneasy
feeling in most individuals when brought up in conversation. Frequently they are at the
punchline of jokes insulting their quirks. The obvious question is why would anyone want to be
an attorney? In my case, I get a lot of influence from my mother who was a lawyer for twenty
years. I was very proud to tell people my mom was a practicing attorney, even more so today
knowing she often defended those that were unable to pay for alternative council. Another
reason is I enjoy history, even when it is upsetting to learn about. My reasoning is it gives me
perspective on my own life, as well as giving me hope that through this new perspective I can
reflect and make a positive impact on lives including my own. I look at cases like Brown v.
Board of Education and it inspires me that perhaps I could make a difference on society through
the courtroom. Lastly although I may not illustrate in my classroom demeanor that I enjoy
speaking in public, but when prepared I enjoy the feeling of attempting to captivate others from
my speech to bend them or lean them towards my way of thinking. This isn t to say I am
incapable of breaking away from opinions I have formed over the years quite the contrary, I learn
the most when I listen to others speak. With regard to my mom Patricia Wengert, I draw a lot of
inspiration from her to become an attorney. When she was 16 years old she became pregnant with

Although both species are cold blooded, they are very different in appearance and physical
makeup. Reptiles are covered in distinctive scales, and some may even have a rough texture.
Amphibians, on the other hand, typically have smooth moist skin. Reptiles also have more
diverse body types than amphibians. They may or may not have limbs, and can range in size
from very small to substantially larger and heavier than humans. Most adult amphibians have
four limbs, and while their size varies, very few grow larger than a man s arm. The role of water
is also an important distinguishing characteristic. Though many reptiles live in the vicinity of
water, this is not essential for them to stay alive and some lizards and snakes are ideally suited to
dry areas. By contrast, many amphibians must remain moist in order to breathe, although they do
have lungs, they also take in oxygen through their skin. This thin skin means that they lost
moisture easily as well, and some will even die if their skin dries completely. Life cycles are
different in that when reptile eggs hatch, the young look like miniature adults. An amphibian
initially emerges from an egg in the form of an aquatic larva, like a tadpole that breathes through
gills until they mature and develop lungs so they may survive without being completely submerged.

Rhetorical Analysis For Global Warming
Global Warming is a huge problem for the environment. The earth s temperature has risen about 1
degree Fahrenheit since 1900 the temperatures are continuing to rise setting record temperature
(Biello). This image is a public service announcement to turn off lights because it is a cause to
global warming. In the image a penguinis pulling on a plug to turn out a light. This image evokes
an emotional response because it has a baby penguin looking scared behind its mom, while the ice
they are on is melting. It also illustrates a point that leaving lights on can cause global warming
because it states it in the text. The light shining on the penguins looks like it is melting the ice
they are standing on. I selected this image because it caught my eye and then made me read the
text, which shows that it is an effective PSA. I also think global warming is a problem and I did
not know that leaving lights on made such a big impact. This image can be analyzed by looking
at the six rhetorical factors: character and action, setting, point of view, use of color, special
effects, and image presentation. First, the characters and action in this advertisement make a
large impact on this image. The penguins are struggling and are fearful for their lives. The
animal s facial expressions express how they are distressed that the light is causing the ice they
are standing on to melt. This displays how much of a problem global warming is and how we
should be more fearful of the impact it is making in the colder climates. One sources states
Specifically, more than two thirds of Antarcticas emperor penguin colonies will decline by more
than 50 percent by the end of the century under future climate change scenarios (Palermo). This
shows that global warming is truly hurting the penguins and many other animals similar. The
picture suggests an action to turn off lights to help reduce the pollution. Second, the setting of the
image takes place somewhere cold, which is the main area affected by global warming. The
penguins are standing on a block of ice symbolizing the Arctic and the block of ice is melting. The
Science Daily reports that ice melting rates were 25 times higher than expected in localized areas
of Antarctica s largest

Park Observation
My observation had been conducted near my home, a local park to be exact. This park had been

be easily influenced by the factors surrounding the park that connect to my early life. I see things

As stated above, my early childhood experiences are crucial when making inferences and
understanding the reasoning behind them. I created two groups depending on their role within
the game I observed; The Runners and Hunters. Regardless of the game I was observing, I
refereed to the Runners as little miniscule critters and the bigger kids to be the Hunters or the bad
guys, which show the pre incorporated experience from my past. My biggest weakness was the
influence of prior experience on my present judgement. I had tried to connect to the people I had
chosen to observe, and that changed the end result of my investigation causing it to be impacted on
a personal level.
The topic I had chosen to observe was limited by the time frame and the individuals I had looked

I was not taking into consideration that there were parents at the park, I only choose to look at the

produce an effect from people, places or things. Thunderstorms are strong mixtures of air and

of people within a society who wield their impact through the decisions they make, the
government, that defines the influence of the effect of power on those to whom it governs. The
concept of power has come to be associated with the terms wealth, authority and government.
Much of what is studied in the field of political science is defined by the parameters created to
express the concept power and how well it is used to distribute wealth and authority. It is
important that the ideas that symbolize the characterization of power can be defined within a set
of parameters that are readily relatable because the basis of political science is the study of the
theory and practice of politics, which can be broadly defined as the determining of the distribution
of power and resources. John Emerich Edward Dalberg, Lord Acton, is often quoted for his famous
opinion on this subject: Power tends to corrupt and

Read-Recite-Review Study Strategy
An independent variable is a set variable that does not change due to a change in another variable.
The independent variables in the Read Recite Review Study Strategy research article were the types
of study methods. The types of study methods were measured as the 3R, rereading, and note taking
strategies. These strategies did not change and would determine the dependent variables.
The dependent variable is a variable whose results rely on another variable. The dependent variable
in the study was the amount of retained information from each study methods. The amount of
retained information depended on which study method was used. The retained information was
measured by the scores on each test that was taken.
Design Procedure:
The design of the study was experimental The study was set up to uncover the causal relationship
between study methods and the amount of information that was retained. Participants were
randomly assigned to each of the study methods. The researchers used the type of study method as
a potential cause to determine how much information could be remembered on ... Show more

The 3R method was beneficial towards immediate and delayed recall in Experiment 1. The mean
correct performance in Experiment 1 showed better test scores in free recall and short answer
testing when using the 3R method compared to the other methods. In Experiment 2, the 3R method
increased scores for multiple choice and problem solving tests. Experiment 2 also showed 3R being
the most beneficial in retaining information. The participants results on delayed testing were higher
on each test than any other study method. Thus, the benefits of 3R go beyond boosting performance
on a criterial test that parallels recitation (McDaniel, Howard, Einstein, 2009). Both studies
concluded that testing over material improves long term learning and retaining

Developing A New Generation Of Empowered And Informed...
Education is an incredibly important resource to help create a new generation of empowered and
informed individuals, which can lead to improvements in overcoming inequality or poverty.
Without receiving education, children are being excluded from opportunities to better their future
and current situation, which is especially critical for impoverished families or marginalized groups.
However, the current education system throughout most of the continent seems to exclude the
people who need it the most. While many countries claim free primary education, 44% families still
have some form of payments to schools, with an average fee of $4.16 per year per child. This is
excluding the fact that many families do not send their children to schools... Show more content on

Kenya in particular faces difficulty in getting universal primary and secondary education. Youth
unemployment is around 20% for people age 15 16 in Kenya, and in 2009 of the people working,
84% had informal jobs, making them vulnerable workers. These issues can be prevented for the
future by making sure that all children have access to strong educational foundation through
primary and secondary schools to then go on to tertiary and university to reinvest into their
communities. Strides have been made such as making enrollment free, which led to many new
students, but one million children are still out of school in Kenya. While this policy has made
some accomplishment, children in less developed areas such as slums or informal settlements,
do not have an equal access to public free schooling and instead go to private schools with low
fees. This has led to an increase in the privatizing of education in Kenya. Over 60% of Nairobi s
children attend these private schools, which can put extreme strain on a low income family. The
public schools themselves have questionable quality, with the government no longer receiving
tuition money to invest in the schools and relying on taxes. There is a lack of teachers, and due to
lack of funds in 2015 many Kenyan teachers went on strike for not getting paid. Also there is
concern over the quality, as public primary education 45% of students qualified

Donald Knuth s The Art Of Computer Programming
1.Introduction Donald Knuth, summarises in his book, The Art of Computer Programming, that:
People think that computer science is the art of geniuses but the actual reality is the opposite,
just many people doing things that build on each other, like a wall of mini stones . (Knuth,
1968) When looking at an Operating System one could often say that an Operating System is a
large sum made up of small separate parts. Much like how Knuth describes computer science
being the wall of mini stones . The Operating System, or the OS can be defined as software that
communicates with the hardware and allows other programs to run . (TechTerms.com, 2012) The
Operating System makes use of two modes known as User Mode and Kernel Mode in order to...

This is no different when it comes down to what architecture for the kernel is chosen by which
company, be it that Linux prefers the monolithic kernel structure over the microkernel, and
Apple preferred the nanokernel then moved over to using a more hybrid kernel and Windows...
well who knows! Windows to decided to go the hybrid kernel in conjunction with a client/server
subsystem model. But in all seriousness when it comes down to choosing one structure over the
other and questioning a company on why, they have chosen the one way over another, they will
all give you a different answer for a same effect or operation. However in saying that, if I today
had to build a multi million Rand computer company, I would have to agree that giving structure
to your system and separating it into mini stones (Knuth, 1968) would have to be the best and
the safest way to do it. Would it be the fastest? Maybe not but with the amount of pure
knowledge people are gaining over the years about hacking systems and stealing sensitive data I
would never want all of my data in any one of my systems to be at risk all the time. That is why I
believe using a microkernel, or even a hybrid kernel is the best way to structure a

The Conquest of Polio, a Story of Rivalry and Success Essay
As recently at the 1950 s, polio was a common disease in the United States. It was first detected
as early as 1789 when doctors recorded small outbreaks of an odd disease accompanied by fever,
paralysis and a tendency to attack children. It wasn t until the summer of 1916, however, that the
public began to pay attention. Twenty seven thousand people were paralyzed that summer from
polio, with most of the victims being children. This is why the disease was called infantile
paralysis, although adults also were stricken by the disease (Smith, An Icon 36 40). It was later
renamed poliomyelitis, referring to the characteristic inflammation ( itis) of the gray (polios)
anterior matter of the spinal cord (myelos).... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Body parts often shriveled up and became entirely useless as muscled atrophied. More severe
initial symptoms were flu like, including severe muscle pain, headaches, fever, sore throat,
stomachache, and other problems. Parents feared this disease with good reason. Often victims
had to spend the rest of their lives in a machine called an iron lung which enabled them to
breathe by mechanically compressing their chests. The iron lung was a large metal tube built
around a bed on which patients had to lie for the duration of their lives (Smith 63 69).
Additionally, stricken people were more susceptible to infections like pneumonia which gradually
weakened and sometimes killed them. The epidemic appeared to be growing worse each year and
it seemed that a miracle would be needed to stop any further death and paralysis. At the peak of the
rampage in 1955, Jonas Salk defeated the giant that was polio (Rosenberg interview). p
On April 12, 1955, a vaccine injection developed by Jonas Edward Salk was introduced to the
public. It succeeded in protecting people from paralytic poliomyelitis (polio). Shortly thereafter, an
even better oral vaccination was developed by Albert Sabin. These discoveries, considered the
greatest medical advance of the time, can be directly attributed to these two men, Jonas Salk and
Albert Sabin.

Ford s F Series experienced a 46% drop in sales for 2006 compared to 2007, making a once most wanted truck in the United States almost abandoned by the consumers. The second and the current recession that began in 2007 brought a new wave of impact on the auto industry. At the time banks were more flexible with approving loans and the interest rates were low which attracted a lot of consumers into the housing market. But foreign competition, higher oil prices, and higher interest rates were not enough to destabilize the auto industry on such a scale; it was the recession that shocked it the most. According to Martin B. Zimmerman, Chief Economist and Executive Director for Governmental Relations and Corporate Economics Ford Motor Co., it is the auto industry that depends on economic cycles more than any other industry. Drastic manufacturing cost cutting continued for the next two years until there was almost nothing more to reduce or lay off. The Book of the Dead is not actually a completed book , but rather it is a collation of the various instructions gathered from the tombs of Pharaohs, priests, high ranking officials and the social elite. Although the most important spells were originally reserved for the upper class, eventually The Book of the Dead became popularised among society and by the New Kingdom was generally common among funerary ceremonies. There are around 192 magic spells contained in the Book, many containing subsections and all of them varying in length and detail. Each spell pertains to a specific step in the passage through the Duat (the Underworld) into the afterlife. • 22. My Math Experience My earliest math memory was in Elementary school; it was a time that I completely understood what I was supposed to do (math wise at least). It was in middle school that I was introduced to different math equations and formulas. At the time I had enjoyed the way that these can be applied to the shapes that were given and the variety of ways to solve one problem. In 2013 I was accepted into Mt. Edgecumbe High School, where the math program was one of the many aspects that were different in comparison to the village educational expectations that I was accustomed to. My freshman year was the beginning of a burgeoning distaste and struggle in mathematics. The ninth grade is when I had been placed into a year long Algebra I class. The first few weeks went smoothly, due to what I was taught at my hometown, but then I started to fall behind when we began the computer program for math. This was the first time that I had done anything similar to this and it was difficult to say the least. There were conflicting educational goals between the teaching happening in the classroom and the electronic lessons on the desktop. However, fear of failure was a major justification on my dedication to have an adequate grade in the class, even with the frustration that came along with it. In the course of the year, I had become well educated in many math areas. Nonetheless, now having the opportunity to look back, I now see that the electronic program had not taught me an abundance of math as ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

He tore his lips from hers and peppered her neck with gentle kisses while she eased her hands beneath his tunic and ran her fingers up and down the warm skin of his back, appreciating the hard muscles beneath her hands. And speaking of hard, as he kissed his way back up to her mouth, his erection pressed into the V between her legs. He rocked his hips against hers as he claimed her mouth again, and she wanted him, so, so badly. Maxen began to moan as his tongue tangled with hers, and he fisted her hair. • 24. Divine Love In The Inferno In Dante s masterwork, The Divine Comedy, Dante traverse through Hell, Purgatory, and Paradise. He is lead through the inferno by the ancient poet Virgil, and while Virgil is still present as a guide through Purgatory, there is a defined shift in his role. Through Inferno, he is without a doubt a knowledgeable guide, whilst in Purgatorio, Virgilwalks behind Dante and often relies on the souls ascending Mount Purgatory to help led the way. Dante uses this shift, and the allegorical representation of Virgil as human reason, to show that comprehension of pure love is beyond human reason. Dante claims that Neither Creator nor his creatures move, / as you well know... but in the action / of animal or of mind directed love (Dante, XVII.... This is the first distinct change in Virgil s role; he goes from confident leader in the first Canto, to perplexed bystander, eventually following Dante s idea to ascend the ledge and seek help from the souls of Purgatory. This can be explained literally, in that Virgil is an ancient to whom the idea of Purgatory would be foreign, but it also serves an allegorical purpose to show the tension between love and reason. While still on the first ledge, Virgil has the assurance to lead Dante my Guide led and I followed (IV. 24) but is still in search of someone who may serve as guide (IV. 39). It is possible for Virgil to understand how to ascend Mount Purgatory both because in the literal sense, he is aware that the proper path must be upwards and because though he lacks the conception of pure love, he is still able to reach after it. On the second ledge of Ante Purgatory, Virgil and Dante find their first additional guide, not counting Cato, who, though he does guide the poets by way of instruction, does not actually climb with them. Sordello, a Mantuan like Virgil, is, in a similar manner to Cato, a false guide, as he leads the poets back down the mountain (allegorically, further into sin), in order to ascend further. They focus on the struggles of the band and their often very normal lives. Mad Tiger is a film about a Japanese punk band called Peelander Z who live and play in NYC. It s an intimate look of the relationship between two band members and if you read between the lines you can see where their troubles start. Peelander Z reminds me a lot of the band Gwar. I am not really a punk fan but it s easy to hear that this band plays basic entry level silly sounding punk rock and doesn t focus on creating anything interesting or original. The two poems, To Lucasta, going to the Wars by Richard Lovelace and Dulce et Decorum Est by Wilfred Owen are both devoted to the subject of war. Lovelace s poem was written in the 17th century and as well as almost all the poetry of the period has romantic diction. The war is shown as something truly worthwhile, glossed and honorable for a man. The protagonist is leaving his beloved for the battlefield and his tone is pathetic and solemn. He calls the war his new mistress and asks his beloved woman not to be jealous as love to her is impossible for him without honor. In this way the overall mood of the poem is idealistic and heroic. Though, the conventional rhythm is broken by the author s punctuation (exclamation points and commas as well as periods and dashes). Due to this device the poem comes closer to prose and sounds conversational. It was probably used to avoid song music mood and to give as much contrast as possible to the heroic poems of other authors like Richard Lovelace. If in Lovelace s case the poem is to inspire the reader, in Owen s work the rhythm is like a war, like death itself hard, stumbling, hopeless, fumbling, and full of suffer. The reader suffers while overcoming all those hyphens and points inside lines. In this way, the two poems are on the opposite sides by their inner and outer sense. As for the form, there are a number of poetic devices which serve to fill the poems with the necessary diction. As Lovelace s poem is easier and lighter by tone, there are not so many devices, but still the figurative language is romantic and eloquent. The imagery is delicate and beautiful. The innocence and pureness of the protagonist s beloved woman is described by the words the nunnery of thy chaste breast and quiet mind ; the lover s attitude is shown by the words Sweet and Dear ; the rush and aspiration of the hero is underlined by the metaphors of flying and chasing . In my case, I get a lot of influence from my mother who was a lawyer for twenty years. I was very proud to tell people my mom was a practicing attorney, even more so today knowing she often defended those that were unable to pay for alternative council. Another reason is I enjoy history, even when it is upsetting to learn about. My reasoning is it gives me perspective on my own life, as well as giving me hope that through this new perspective I can reflect and make a positive impact on lives including my own. Although both species are cold blooded, they are very different in appearance and physical makeup. Reptiles are covered in distinctive scales, and some may even have a rough texture. Amphibians, on the other hand, typically have smooth moist skin. Reptiles also have more diverse body types than amphibians. They may or may not have limbs, and can range in size from very small to substantially larger and heavier than humans. Most adult amphibians have four limbs, and while their size varies, very few grow larger than a man s arm. The role of water is also an important distinguishing characteristic. Though many reptiles live in the vicinity of water, this is not essential for them to stay alive and some lizards and snakes are ideally suited to dry areas. By contrast, many amphibians must remain moist in order to breathe, although they do have lungs, they also take in oxygen through their skin. This thin skin means that they lost moisture easily as well, and some will even die if their skin dries completely. Life cycles are different in that when reptile eggs hatch, the young look like miniature adults. The earth s temperature has risen about 1 degree Fahrenheit since 1900 the temperatures are continuing to rise setting record temperature (Biello). This image is a public service announcement to turn off lights because it is a cause to global warming. In the image a penguinis pulling on a plug to turn out a light. This image evokes an emotional response because it has a baby penguin looking scared behind its mom, while the ice they are on is melting. It also illustrates a point that leaving lights on can cause global warming because it states it in the text. The light shining on the penguins looks like it is melting the ice they are standing on. I selected this image because it caught my eye and then made me read the text, which shows that it is an effective PSA. I also think global warming is a problem and I did not know that leaving lights on made such a big impact. This image can be analyzed by looking at the six rhetorical factors: character and action, setting, point of view, use of color, special effects, and image presentation. First, the characters and action in this advertisement make a large impact on this image. The penguins are struggling and are fearful for their lives. The animal s facial expressions express how they are distressed that the light is causing the ice they are standing on to melt. This displays how much of a problem global warming is and how we should be more fearful of the impact it is making in the colder climates. One sources states Specifically, more than two thirds of Antarcticas emperor penguin colonies will decline by more than 50 percent by the end of the century under future climate change scenarios (Palermo). This shows that global warming is truly hurting the penguins and many other animals similar. The picture suggests an action to turn off lights to help reduce the pollution. Second, the setting of the image takes place somewhere cold, which is the main area affected by global warming. The penguins are standing on a block of ice symbolizing the Arctic and the block of ice is melting. The Science Daily reports that ice melting rates were 25 times higher than expected in localized areas of Antarctica s largest ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The White House is a place that stands as a symbol of what America as a country represents; which can produce a powerful effect, either positive or negative, upon the emotions of those who see it. While many countries claim free primary education, 44% families still have some form of payments to schools, with an average fee of $4.16 per year per child. This is excluding the fact that many families do not send their children to schools... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Kenya in particular faces difficulty in getting universal primary and secondary education. Youth unemployment is around 20% for people age 15 16 in Kenya, and in 2009 of the people working, 84% had informal jobs, making them vulnerable workers. These issues can be prevented for the future by making sure that all children have access to strong educational foundation through primary and secondary schools to then go on to tertiary and university to reinvest into their communities. Strides have been made such as making enrollment free, which led to many new students, but one million children are still out of school in Kenya. While this policy has made some accomplishment, children in less developed areas such as slums or informal settlements, do not have an equal access to public free schooling and instead go to private schools with low fees. This has led to an increase in the privatizing of education in Kenya. Over 60% of Nairobi s children attend these private schools, which can put extreme strain on a low income family. The public schools themselves have questionable quality, with the government no longer receiving tuition money to invest in the schools and relying on taxes. There is a lack of teachers, and due to lack of funds in 2015 many Kenyan teachers went on strike for not getting paid. Also there is concern over the quality, as public primary education 45% of students qualified ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 42. Donald Knuth s The Art Of Computer Programming 1.Introduction Donald Knuth, summarises in his book, The Art of Computer Programming, that: People think that computer science is the art of geniuses but the actual reality is the opposite, just many people doing things that build on each other, like a wall of mini stones . (Knuth, 1968) When looking at an Operating System one could often say that an Operating System is a large sum made up of small separate parts. Much like how Knuth describes computer science being the wall of mini stones . The Operating System, or the OS can be defined as software that communicates with the hardware and allows other programs to run . (TechTerms.com, 2012) The Operating System makes use of two modes known as User Mode and Kernel Mode in order to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This is no different when it comes down to what architecture for the kernel is chosen by which company, be it that Linux prefers the monolithic kernel structure over the microkernel, and Apple preferred the nanokernel then moved over to using a more hybrid kernel and Windows... well who knows! Windows to decided to go the hybrid kernel in conjunction with a client/server subsystem model. But in all seriousness when it comes down to choosing one structure over the other and questioning a company on why, they have chosen the one way over another, they will all give you a different answer for a same effect or operation. However in saying that, if I today had to build a multi million Rand computer company, I would have to agree that giving structure to your system and separating it into mini stones (Knuth, 1968) would have to be the best and the safest way to do it. Would it be the fastest? Maybe not but with the amount of pure knowledge people are gaining over the years about hacking systems and stealing sensitive data I would never want all of my data in any one of my systems to be at risk all the time. That is why I believe using a microkernel, or even a hybrid kernel is the best way to structure a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 43. The Conquest of Polio, a Story of Rivalry and Success Essay As recently at the 1950 s, polio was a common disease in the United States. It was first detected as early as 1789 when doctors recorded small outbreaks of an odd disease accompanied by fever, paralysis and a tendency to attack children. It wasn t until the summer of 1916, however, that the public began to pay attention. Twenty seven thousand people were paralyzed that summer from polio, with most of the victims being children. This is why the disease was called infantile paralysis, although adults also were stricken by the disease (Smith, An Icon 36 40). It was later renamed poliomyelitis, referring to the characteristic inflammation ( itis) of the gray (polios) anterior matter of the spinal cord (myelos).... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Body parts often shriveled up and became entirely useless as muscled atrophied. More severe initial symptoms were flu like, including severe muscle pain, headaches, fever, sore throat, stomachache, and other problems. Parents feared this disease with good reason. Often victims had to spend the rest of their lives in a machine called an iron lung which enabled them to breathe by mechanically compressing their chests. The iron lung was a large metal tube built around a bed on which patients had to lie for the duration of their lives (Smith 63 69). Additionally, stricken people were more susceptible to infections like pneumonia which gradually weakened and sometimes killed them. The epidemic appeared to be growing worse each year and it seemed that a miracle would be needed to stop any further death and paralysis. At the peak of the rampage in 1955, Jonas Salk defeated the giant that was polio (Rosenberg interview). p On April 12, 1955, a vaccine injection developed by Jonas Edward Salk was introduced to the public. It succeeded in protecting people from paralytic poliomyelitis (polio). Shortly thereafter, an even better oral vaccination was developed by Albert Sabin. These discoveries, considered the greatest medical advance of the time, can be directly attributed to these two men, Jonas Salk and Albert Sabin. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
