Timothy Mcveeigh Research Paper
When people think of Oklahoma, they usually think about flatlands and waving wheat. The
thought of terrorism would never come into mind. This is exactly what the people of Oklahoma
City would ve been thinking if asked about terrorism. Sadly, on the day of April 19, 1995,
Oklahoma and the nation was shocked as the unthinkable happened. The rest of the world stood
still, and watched as people were rushed from the building. Families received information about
their loved ones, and soon learned that they were no longer living. Parents were also sickened by
the fact that their children would never be able to go to daycare again. As for the man in charge of
this operation, his slow but authorized death was watched by families and friends of the victims.
The rest of the nation should ve been able to view this great punishment along with the families
who were affected. Timothy McVeighwas a young child who grew up just like any other kid in
America. He grew up in a town called... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For some people, this was a day to remember the awful things that one man caused. For others, it
was a day of celebration. One man got what he deserved, and people rejoiced. However, some
people believe that Timothy McVeigh should not get what he wished for. He wanted the whole
nation to witness his death because he believed that it would prove his point. His view on his own
execution, was his way of showing that the government was corrupt. He believed that the
government was unconstitutional and that they were using McVeigh as a cover. No matter his
view, it would never change the fact that he killed innocent people and children. Many Americans
realized this, and they wanted to witness his final moments. The people should have been able to
see, and even Timothy McVeigh agreed upon this. For some, seeing McVeigh killed would be the
only thing that allowed them to cope with the loss of loved ones and

Epic of Beowulf Essay
Alliteration in Beowulf
The diction of the Old English poem Beowulf is distinguished primarily by its heavy use of
allliteration, or the repetition of the initial sounds of words.
In the original manuscript version of the poem, alliteration is employed in almost every line (or two
half lines); in modern translations of the poem this is not so. Beowulf uses alliteration [my italics]
and accent to achieve the poetic effect which Modern English poetry achieves through the use of
poetic feet, each having the same number of syllables and the same pattern of accent (Wilkie
1271). In lines 4 and 5 of the poem we find:
Oft Scyld Scefing sceapena preatum
monegum ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Such stressed alliterative binding together created hundreds of pairs that are used over and over,
such as halig/heofon holy/heaven, dryhten/dugud lord/troop, fyren/feond sin/enemy. The pairs need
not be complementary, but rather can be contrastive, like eadig/earm happy/wretched and wearm
/winter warm/winter. These dictional contrasts provide the listener additional pleasure by surprising
his expectations. The alliteration also includes stressed vowels (Tharaud 34).
Prof. Magoun, in examining the poem, considers it probable that a high percentage of the
language in Beowulf is formulas or phrases repeated from a common bank of phraseology from
which all poets drew their language (88 89). From this common bank the poets drew out what
they need based on the requirements of alliteration. In his essay The Making of an Anglo Saxon
Poem, Robert P. Creed agrees that alliteration was the poet s basis for making his choice of words:
I shall therefore take only a very small portion of Beowulf, eight verses (four lines), and attempt,
by means of references to similar verses and lines in the rest of the poem and in other surviving
Anglo Saxon poems, to illustrate the thesis that the making of any Anglo Saxon poem was a
process of choosing rapidly and largely on the basis of alliterative [italics mine] needs not between
individual words but between formulas (142).
The alliteration in the poem was so

Liberal Bias
Does the Media Have a Liberal Bias?
Fred Barnes and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has different views on liberal prejudice. First, Barnes
agrees to the media liberal unfairness, and he claims that the media refuse to give conservatives a
job. Furthermore, positive news reports have data to prove that the liberal media is unfair. Next,
Kennedy admits that bias do exist in the media; however, he is certain that the media has a
conservative bias instead of a liberal bias. Kennedy also claims that United States citizens believe in
news that is untrue. The media tends to implant incorrect information through the radio, newspaper,
and many others from the conservative viewpoint (Finsterbusch 2014).
According to Alterman (2003: 128), a liberal bias in

Turning Point Of Juno
Analysis of the movie Juno
Plot
The movie follows a sixteen year old teenager named Juno. She often hangs out with her best
friend Leah and a guy named Paulie Bleeker, however after an accident with Bleeker, Juno finds
herself pregnant. At this time Juno knew she had to do something so she went to the nearest
Women s Clinic, but soon she changes her mind and gives it up for adoption instead. With the help
from Leah they soon find an ad in a newspaper, Juno decides to contact them and later she meets up
with them. They seem like the perfect parents but after a dramatic turn she finds out that they may
not be what she once thought. The big turning point for me would be when Mark reveals that he is
going to break up with Vanessa. After this Vanessa gets her heart shattered and Juno wants to help
them out. This led to Juno having to make many difficult decisions, even the whole plot changed
from one thing to the other. All this makes this certain turning point stand out from the rest and that
is why in my opinion this is the most ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She is a sixteen year old girl that acts a lot different compared to the other girls in the film. Even
when she gets pregnant she tries to create an attitude that in turn changes how she acts around her
friends and family. Bleeker however really tries to let the mother do all of the work and he even
tries to put this thing aside as evidenced during one of the running segments. These two are the
main characters since I think the film is mainly about the relationship between both of them. How
Juno and Bleeker s relationship is presented towards the audience takes a turn during the ending
sequence in which it is revealed that both of them had developed feelings towards each other. In
the beginning however it s shown that Bleeker may like Juno in this way but it appears as if he

Pros And Cons Of Birth Control
traception
Contraception is used to prevent pregnancy. The use of condoms can prevent pregnancy and protect
against STDs. Other protective barriers, such as dental dams, are recommended for oral sex and
analingus. Some sexually transmitted infections, such as genital warts and genital herpes can be
spread through skin to skin contact, not just penetrative sex. For those in committed relationships
who seek only to prevent pregnancy, there are many forms of birth control, and a healthcare
provider can discuss options and detail what is the ideal form of birth control. There is no single
universal method that works for everyone.
According to Michael McGee, MEd, a certified sexual health educator and adjunct professor at
Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey, sexual health is intimately related to
reproduction. Birth control choices to prevent pregnancy and the steps couples need to take to have
a healthy pregnancy are all aspects of sexual health.
Some factors a qualified physician will take into consideration when discussing options are:
Patient s sexual activity
Previously used birth control methods
Existing medical conditions
Lifestyle and likelihood of taking a daily pill on schedule
Use of tobacco products
Existence of menstrual migraines
Menstrual flow
Personal and family history of blood clots
Existence or history of breast cancer
Family history of ovarian cancer
History of premenstrual syndrome

Advantages Of Distance Education
North Delhi
Delhi has 153 Private as well as Government colleges but the enrolment for the year 2011 12 was
191021 which suggests that number of colleges are just insufficient to meet the educational needs
of burgeoning number of students. Number of students (Male and Female) who preferred distance
education at graduate and undergraduate level courses was whopping 3559559 which alludes to the
fact that distance mode of education is catching on among students. North Delhi center aims to
engage students online and provide them quality education.

Chandigarh
Chandigarh has 27 colleges and average enrolment per college was just 1433 for year 2011 12

Psychedelic Variation
Many differences exist in individuals as of how one perceives the environment, such as, sensing
different chemicals. Several studies have shown that not every individual has the ability of tasting
phenylthiocarbamide, also known as PTC. PTC was accidentally discovered in 1930 when Arthur
Fox unintentionally released a large quantity of PTC in his laboratory. He noticed that some people
could taste the bitterness of the PTC, while others could not. Bitterness is one of the five tastes a
human can distinguish through taste receptors on the tongue. These receptors serve as a defense
mechanism of possible intakes that may be toxic. The ability to taste bitterness will most likely
decrease the possibility of consuming something that is toxic. However,... Show more content on

Each human carries two copies of the PTC gene, which whose combination justifies whether the
individual can taste the bitterness or not (Drayna, 2005). There are two alleles of the PTC gene
in which an individual can carry two taster alleles (TT), two non taster alleles (tt), or one of each
(Tt). The allelic variation that detects the PTC tasting is located in over 5 to 7 chromosomes
(Bufe, 2005). Like many others traits, the sensitivity to PTC is hereditary (Suzuki et al., 2010).
There are specific genotypes that determine the individual s ability to taste the bitterness of the
PTC. If the bitterness can be tasted, it means the individual has a dominant allele inherited from
either parent (Wooding et al., 2004). The ability to taste PTC has been widely studied as a
Mendelian trait. Surveys have been done regarding the genetics of taste by classifying the tasters
and non tasters of PTC. By analyzing the statistical results, it was discovered that the ability to
taste PTC is dominant. However, this may vary between men and women. Studies have also shown
that women are more sensitive to PTC than men, therefore, it may be that PTC tasting is related to
the levels of dithiotyrosine in the saliva. If only certain people can taste the chemicals of PTC
bitterly, then more women will be able to taste PTC then men

The Anglo Saxon And The Epic Hero
The Anglo Saxon time period was an era full of storytelling and lyrical poems. Storytellers
developed an oral tradition during this period as they memorized, adapted, and passed along
stories and songs. Many of the Anglo Saxon stories were epics, which are long poems that tell a
story of a heroic deed or a legendary event from the past. These epics invariably included an epic
hero, or a larger than life figure that presented their courage, virtue, and skill against an evil or
opposing figure. In addition to the epic hero, the Anglo Saxon s incorporated their values into the
epics. By incorporating these into the songs, they were able to teach not only their values, but also
life lessons to the audience.
A prominent Anglo Saxon epic is the song, Beowulf. In the song, protagonist, Beowulf battles the
following three evil forces: Grendel, Grendel s mother, and a dragon. In all three of these
battles, Beowulf manifests many of the values of the Anglo Saxon s such as loyalty, bravery,
and strength. The Seafarer is an Old English poem giving a first person account of a man alone
on the sea. The poem consists of 124 lines, followed by the single word Amen and is recorded
only in the Exeter Book, one of the four surviving manuscripts of Old English poetry. It has most
often been categorised as an elegy, a poetic genre common in Old English. After the battle with the
dragon, when Beowulf gave his gold necklace to the warrior, Wiglaf, he implies his loyalty to his

Hades And Persephone Research Paper
The Ancient Greeks lived a life oriented around religion, and this religious centered life came with
religious ceremonies to celebrate both men and women s coming of age into adulthood.
One interesting rite of passage for both men and women were the Eleusinian mysteries. These
mysteries are based and centered on the myth of Hades and Persephone, commonly used as an
explanation for the changing of the seasons, but has two other interpretations: the sexual
awakening and becoming a woman, and also the idea that is is possible to come back from the
afterlife. Hades may not be the end of everyone. Prior to her kidnapping, Persephone had no
name and was referred to as Kore, or maiden. Upon being kidnapped by Hades, according to some
versions of the myth, the virginal goddesses came to her defense, not wanting to lose one of their
own. Demeter, Goddess of Agriculture, falls into mourning at the loss of her daughter, or the
prospect of her daughter growing up and becoming a woman. Upon returning, Kore s name was
changed to Persephone, signifying the loss of her virginity. While in a state of mourning, Demeter

Difference Between The Ratio And The Dividend Ratio
Probability Ratios
Garners Platoon Mental Health Care s ratios illustrate that it is more profitable than the average
in its industry (Cornett, Adair, Nofsinger, 2015). Its profit margin, BEP, ROE, and ROA are all
considerably higher than its industry figures. However, the dividend payout ratio is lower than
that of the industry which is not necessarily a bad thing because you typically want this number to
be lower than higher (Holt, n.d.). This indicates that the company is keeping more money than
paying out for future development or plans (Cornett et al., 2015). A lucrative company that keeps
its profits expands its level of equity capital as well as its own value (Cornett et al., 2015, p. 88).

Thus, it is producing fewer dollars of sales per dollar of inventory (Cornett et al., 2015). Garners
has to pay more in storage than its competitors since it is taking them longer to turn their inventory
over.
Garners accounts receivable management ratios appear to be lower than its industry average which
is an indication of good management since it desires to receive payment sooner than the industry
average (Cornett, Adair, Nofsinger, 2015). The company could have too much control on its
crediting terms, and might look into decreasing its crediting procedure slightly; however, for the
most part, the company is doing well in collecting payments.
The average payment period is 40.9 days higher than the industry average, and its accounts payable
turnover is 2.59 times; therefore, providing that the company is paying its bills on time, Garners is
reducing opportunity costs due to its debt management (Cornett, Adair, Nofsinger, 2015).
Garners fixed asset ratio is .25 below the industry average which could indicate that management is
not using its assets to its fullest. However, since Garners total asset turnover ratio is slightly higher
than the industry average, this number shows that Garners management is using its assets accurately.
Debt Ratio

Essay on Hiroshima, A Journalistic Narrative
In 1945, John Hersey visited Japan on a journalistic trip sponsored by Life Magazine and the New
Yorker to write about Hiroshima and its people. And, of course, the aftermath of the dropping of
the Atomic Bomb. When he returned to the U.S. in 1946, the New Yorker was dedicating an entire
magazine to Hersey s accounts in Hiroshima. The issue s publication on August 31, 1946, caused
America to be in a near chaotic state. Selling out it s entire stock in just a few hours, the New
Yorker was overwhelmed with requests for more copies. The magazine originally sold for 15 cents
an issue was being scalped for 15 to 20 dollars. Even Albert Einstein, who participated in the

He spends more time than any other character in the book giving aid to those wounded. Later in
the book, it is discovered that he has been affected by radiation sickness. His vitality and energy
begin to slowly deteriorate however his passion to help others does not.
Of the six profiled people in Hiroshima, Rev. Tanimoto was without a doubt the hardest to grasp
and the most complex. His unrelentless hard work seems to have common ground with traditional
Japanese ideals, yet he ironically has the strongest American ties, and he is aware that those ties are
continuously the cause for much suspicion. In the latter part of the book, Rev. Tanimoto is under
more suspicion than foreigners. He constantly feels a drive to prove his loyalty. He, sadly, never
receives the respect from his countrymen that he so badly craves.
Out of all the characters, Rev. Tanimoto undergoes the most drastic post war makeover, as it
pertains to his lifestyle. He travels through the U.S. to get funding and support for a new peace
center. Hersey seems to spend the most time on him and he even ends the narrative by describing
an old Mr. Tanimoto in a comfortable modern lifestyle and home. It is could in fact be deemed a
political allegory for what happens when good intentions, no matter how pure, are mixed with a
yearning to please and bad ways to do it.

What happens if you can t play the song? Victor asked. Then you can kick my ass some more.
We ll kick your ass anyway, Victor said (Alexie 15). Victor also used an electric fence to be mean

Thomas nearly choked on the smell (Alexie 71). Thomas did not want to say anything in fear of

did not. Victor can be implacable and arduous about what he wants people to do. Victor was also

Sexual Assault On Campus And The United States Department...
Sexual Assault on Campus
According to The United States Department of Justice, Sexual assault is any type of sexual contact
or behavior that occurs without the explicit consent of the recipient. Falling under the definition of
sexual assault are sexual activities such as forced sexual intercourse, forcible sodomy, child
molestation, incest, fondling, and attempted rape. (Department of Justice) 90 percent of the victims
of sexual assault are women and 10 percent are men, and nearly 99 percent of offenders in single
victim assaults are men (Bureau of Justice Statistics 2010). Sexual Assault can happen to
anyone, not just women. Sexual Assault these days are a big trouble and it is not being
addressed in good order, and it is especially a big problem at the University of Kentucky campus.
Although, many people think sexual assault on campus is not a huge issue, it really is and it is
not properly spoken of. Even though people have different opinions on sexual assault, sexual
assault is a big issue on campus and alcohol is largely to blame.
There are many reasons why alcohol plays a major role in sexual assault. According to College
Women s Experiences with Physically Forced, Alcohol or Other Drug Enabled, and Drug
Facilitated Sexual Assault Before and Since Entering College, there are different types of sexual

The Economic Reforms in India Since 1991
It has been over twenty years since the unlikely combination of P.V. Narasimha Rao as Prime
Minister and his Oxford educated finance minister finally liberated (so they claim) the Indian
economy from overwhelming government control.
It was a rotting edifice based on institutionalized scarcity, wildly illogical price controls,
hilariously shoddy products, protectionism and endemic underperformance was swiftly
demolished in 100 days of inspired action. The Socialist Utopia powered by the fevered
imaginations of Nehru and Mahalanobis which seemed forever doomed to rot at the so called
Hindu Rate of Growth was now dead and buried, just like them.

But one can argue that modern India has always dispossessed and ignored its poorest of the poor
who are routinely bullied by the state.
Now the dominant discourse has framed the so called Great Development Challenge as an effort to
extend the dynamism of liberalism to those denied access and equal opportunity (Tripathi 2011).
This does not make accounts of horrendous poverty any less legitimate, not does it make the
suicides of farmers any less tragic.
But some argue that the statistics speak for themselves. In 1991, 35.8% of India s population of
846 million, that is, about 300 million people, lived on less than one dollar a day, which is the
generally accepted measure that economists use worldwide to define absolute poverty (in a
strictly global context, as opposed to relative poverty, which is necessary an intra state indicator)
. Ten years later, the figure dropped to 27.5%. By 2006, with India s population at 1.02 billion
people, that necessarily implied that there were 270 million people living in absolute poverty. In
the intervening years, when India added 115 million people, those living in absolute poverty fell
by 30 million. Had the poverty rate remained as it was, that is 35.8% , there have been 365 million
poor people. Thus we are able to argue, with some fairly reasonable certainty that the economy,
within this timeframe lifted 95 million people out of absolute poverty.

Sucrose Investigation
Background research For my science project i will investigate how enzyme convert sucrose into to
glucose and at what ph level do enzymes convert sucrose into glucose at the fastest rate. To do this i
will conduct an experiment in which 5 containers with substances ranging in different ph levels and

challenging myself and when i saw a version of the experiment online I adopted it and made it my

The first, still in use in some places, is a chemical method exploiting the nonspecific reducing
property of glucose in a reaction with an indicator substance that changes color when reduced.
Since other blood compounds also have reducing properties (e.g., urea, which can be abnormally
high in uremic patients), this technique can produce erroneous readings in some situations (5 to
15 mg/dL has been reported). The more recent technique, using enzymes specific to glucose, is
less susceptible to this kind of error. The two most common employed enzymes are glucose
oxidase and hexokinase. In either case, the chemical system is commonly contained on a test
strip which is inserted into a meter, and then has a blood sample applied , in this experiment iw

chemical composition vary between meter systems and cannot be interchanged. Formerly, some
test strips were read (after timing and wiping away the blood sample) by visual comparison
against a color chart printed on the vial label. Their error rates were, in any case, much higher. In
my case i will be using benedict s solution. Benedict solution will not give me an exact number, but

Literary Review of Sexuality and Gender in Science Fiction...
Literary Review
My argument is that SF literature offers a utopian hope for the future where individual differences
are no longer criticized. To conduct this literature review I used multiple information sources to
examine issues of gender and sexuality within science fiction literature. None of these sources
claim to have produced a conclusive work on the interpretation of gender and sexuality in SF. Some
of what I have read seems to be a general overview while some is more focused, but everything
clearly references other theorists, studies and texts to back up the arguments made.

In other words feminist SF is an effective and powerful means for feminist visionary
developments that are crucial for the initial attempts to embark on the cultural and social changes
that are the goals for the feminist political enterprise. Hollinger discusses Le Guin s view that
feminist SF doesn t prophecy the future but it refers to the world as it is. This is interesting
because it emphasises this idea that the SF can explore such issues of gender and sexuality in reality.
Hollinger references works such as The Female Man, Bloodchild , The Left Hand of Darkness and
Women on the Edge of Time together with people like Donna Harraway, Teresa de Lauretis and
Judith Butler. In addition to the well known feminist utopian works of the 70 s Hollinger also
mentions Helen O Loy, which is an early masculine focused novel. We see the importance of
feminist SF when we read about works such as this, because the contrast shows that some SF
writers obviously didn t identify the historical possibility and cultural traditionalism of our notions
regarding gender and sexual identity and the roles of men and women. Hollinger brings together
plenty of evidence to back up her points about feminist theory and SF making for a comprehensive
essay.

Software And Flip Flop Gates
Abstract In recent years, much research has been devoted to the construction of extreme
programming; contrarily, few have evaluated the confusing unification of extreme programming
and courseware. After years of typical research into extreme programming, we demonstrate the
investigation of XML, which embodies the robust principles of complexity theory. WAG, our new
heuristic for courseware, is the solution to all of these challenges. Table of Contents 1 Introduction
End users agree that relational theory are an interesting new topic in the field of cryptography, and
researchers concur. The notion that steganographers collude with empathic information is largely
outdated. Unfortunately, a robust problem in operating systems is the synthesis of online
algorithms. To what extent can wide area networks be explored to address this problem? Our focus
in our research is not on whether architecture and flip flop gates can interfere to fulfill this aim, but
rather on constructing new distributed methodologies (WAG). existing self learning and
cooperative algorithms use hierarchical databases to locate adaptive theory. Even though such a
hypothesis is continuously an intuitive mission, it is derived from known results. Two properties
make this solution perfect: our method is built on the development of DNS, and also we allow
spreadsheets to study multimodal theory without the emulation of symmetric encryption. This
combination of properties has not yet been explored in existing

Monetary policy in Canada has two main characteristics:
Monetary policy is conducted by the Bank of Canada, a government owned Crown corporation that

Financial capital can move easily within Canada, leading to same interest rates on similar assets

I. Introduction
This qualitative research will investigate how addiction effects the psychological and physical
functioning of daily life. Psychological functioning is the cognitive and behavioral characteristics of
an individual and how they work.
This research relates to counseling. The field of counseling looks at methods that will engage
an individual with personal issues and how they cope on daily basis. I have several reasons why
this topic is of interest to me. I am a Certified Alcohol/Drug Counselor, currently employed as a
supervisor at a Women s Residential Misa Facility. I have been in this field for 10 years and I

This lack of control is the result of alcohol or drug induced changes in the brain. Those changes, in
turn, cause behavior changes.
The brains of addicted people have been modified by the drug in such a way that absence of the
drug makes a signal to their brain that is equivalent to the signal of when you are starving , says
National Institute of Drug Abuse Director Dr. Nora Volkow. It is as if the individual was in a state
of deprivation, where taking the drug is indispensable for survival. It s as powerful as that.
Addiction grows more serious over time. Substance use disorders travel along a continuum. This
progression can be measured by the amount, frequency, and context of a person s substance use.
As their illness deepens, addicted people need more alcohol or other drugs; they may use more
often, and use in situations they never imagined when they first began to drink or take drugs. The
illness becomes harder to treat and the related health problems, such as organ disease, become
worse.
This is not something that develops overnight for any individual, says addiction expert Dr.
Kathleen Brady. Generally there s a series of steps that individuals go through from
experimentation and occasional use [to] the actual loss of control of use. And it really is that
process that defines addiction. (HBO: Addiction: What Is

have worked in a pharmacy over many years and have seen many mistakes happen with a good and
bad ending. The two most common mistakes that are not the fault of the pharmacist are giving the
wrong prescription to the wrong customer at check out and not following HIPPA standards.
There are many cases where customers can have common names and are given the wrong
prescription due to lack of verification. I have personally heard of a customer calling back
because they realized they have the wrong medication. An instance of such could go in a very bad
direction if a customer takes the medication and causes health problems or death, which would
result in a malpractice lawsuit. Although it was not the pharmacist error because it was an
employee working under the pharmacist, the pharmacist could lose their license and much money
due to this mistake. As long as the pharmacist has professional liability insurance this mistake
would be covered and licenses would not be threatened to be taken. Another main area for possible
lawsuits would be disregarding or not following HIPPA regulations properly. In

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Semisolid Processing
2.1THE BEGINNING OF SEMISOLID PROCESSING
Semisolid processing originates with the research at MIT on the viscosity behavior of tin/lead
alloys during solidification, published by Spencer,Mehrabian, and Flemings in 1972.The original
purpose was to examine the shear stress of semisolid structures with a view to shedding light on hot
tearing mechanisms in solidifying alloys, but it was discovered that the process of shearing clearly
altered the microstructure, changing the dendritic morphology of the solid into more spherical
form that brought about a dramatic fall in shear stress and viscosity. This is of course the
phenomenon of Thixotropy, well known to ceramicists and polymer scientists, but until then not
observed in metallic systems. This discovery at MIT initiated an in depth study of thixotropy in
alloys, and the awareness that stirred semisolid alloys could be injected as in die casting into molds
with certain advantages: The controlled higher viscosity flow meant that less air ... Show more

Semi solid metal processing enables us to manufacture complicated shape components with near net

advantages in comparison with conventional casting, such as decreasing the macrosegregation and
solidification shrinkage and reducing forming temperature [35]. Because of the absence of the
dendritic solid phase in the semi solid state, the alloy is easily shaped. The nondendritic
microstructure contains solid phase globules suspended in the liquid phase [33, 36].
The main advantages and disadvantages of SSM, relative to die casting, have been summarized by

The Problem Of Energy Production
In today s society, it s nearly impossible to open a newspaper, fire up a computer, or hold a
conversation that isn t someway related to energy. Since the beginning of the industrial revolution
over a century and a half ago, nothing has been more pivotal to mankind s rise to power as the
apex species of planet earth. Had our ancestors not discovered the potential of using million year
old plant and animal remains to create combustible power, the world would look very different.
There is no denying that energy production is one of, if not, the most important developments in
human history. After a hundred and fifty years of recklessly burning oil and coal, we find ourselves

There are dozens, if not hundreds of oil and coal alternatives that are being considered, however,
while many options look promising in theory the overwhelming majority of them such as: wind,
solar, and biofuel just aren t economically feasible on a global scale. Nuclear power is growing in
popularity around the world for its extreme potency and zero emissions, but advancements in the
field are few and far between due to the bad stigma that surrounds nuclear power. This negative
stigma stems from its military roots and its potential for catastrophic disaster, which has become
very real in the wake of Japan s recent natural disasters. The answer to kicking our oil habit may
actually be much simpler than any of these other alternatives. The key to securing our energy
independence may have been under our feet the entire time we were bending to the oil cartel s

Here in America we have been sitting atop a goldmine of natural gas wells that rank among the most
abundant in the world. While natural gas is by no means a renewable source of energy, reserves are
much more plentiful in America than oil. Natural gas also burns much cleaner than coal making it
friendlier to our heavily burdened atmosphere. Current estimates put our nation s natural gas supply
somewhere around twenty five hundred trillion cubic feet of technically recoverable natural gas
from all sources (Deutch, 2011). Approximately six hundred to seven hundred cubic feet lies

Army in Desert Shield Desert Storm was highly professional; the Army after the next decade of

a long journey most of us would never start at all . This quote relates to journeys, specifically to
inner journeys with the intention that many journeys are difficult and if individuals knew how
difficult the journey was going to be, then most of us would not even commence the journey. A
journey is simply a movement from one place to another. Physical journeys are gateways to inner

choosing the one that was grassy and wanted wear and the one less travelled by . He wanted to
break away from the norm and experience something new. This road may be more rewarding
despite the fact it presents more challenges. The inner journey is depicted through the use of
language techniques such as, extended metaphor, first person pronoun, repetition and symbolism.
The use of first person pronoun I shows that it is a personal journey where choices need to be
made. The repetition of I in the last stanza highlights the speaker s solitude and that he is proud
of the choice he has made and I I took the one less travelled by , also emphasises that we are
responsible for our own decisions on our own journey. It helps the audience connect to the poem

The Potential And Its Effects On Cancer Cells
Limitless replicative potential is an acquired capability of many cancer cells, and it was listed as
one of the original hallmarks of cancer [1]. It is mostly achieved by upregulation of telomerase, a
reverse transcriptase DNA synthesis enzyme that maintains the telomeres length. Most tumor cells
have a high level of telomerase activity but short telomeres due to prior divisions before achieving
telomerase activating malignancies [2]. In contrast, normal progenitor cells and stem cells have
relatively long telomeres and lower mitotic/telomerase activity, and in normal differentiated somatic
cells telomerase expression is repressed. Thus, telomerase inhibition provides an attractive
therapeutic opportunity because of its universality, criticality and specificity for cancercells [3].
Numerous strategies have been proposed for silencing this enzyme [reviewed in 2 3], but due to
heterogeneity and complexity of cancers, as well as polymorphisms in human genomes, the search
for effective and precise treatments for polymerase inhibition is still active.
Nanotechnology is the latest evolving field, and its applications in cancer therapeutics have
demonstrated great potential. Specifically, nanomedicine utilizes the advantages of nanodelivery
systems [4]. The nanocarrier system is a new system for transporting biological molecules that has
the advantages of being highly efficient, non immunogenic, safe, inexpensive, biodegradable, and
stable [4].

Trotsky s Role in the Soviet Union
General Statement. Trotsky s role in the Soviet Union was of fundamental importance in Russia
during the period 1918 to 1928 as he can be attributed with the Bolshevik acquisition and
consolidation of power. However, to achieve a more balanced interpretation it is imperative all
contributing factors to his role are acknowledged. Trotsky s role has not been greatly exaggerated
as his strategic leadership skills enabled him to play a fundamental role in the organisation and
implementation of the November 1917 Bolshevikseizure of power and the Civil War in 1918 21;
however, the importance of Lenin s role must also be taken into account to achieve a more
balanced portrayal as many of Trotsky s successes were based on Lenin s initiatives. Additionally,
while Trotsky s crucial ideological role was of significant importance to the Bolshevik party as he
proposed policies that rigidly adhered to their socialist ideals, his interpersonal skills led to his
inability to implement these ideological objectives.

world? Ladies could acquire property, enter business arrangements, purchase and offer products, go
to court and get a separation. Ladies fabricated fragrance and materials, oversaw cultivating and
served as specialists. They could likewise enter the ministry.
5. Depict three advances in learning made by the old Egyptians.
a. Keeping composed records. Egyptians built up numerous written work frameworks. The first
was hieroglyphics, it was an arrangement of images or pictures which spoke of items, ideas or
sounds. At that point, recorders created hieratic written work, which was a less difficult script for
regular use. Composing was utilized to record data. Clerics and copyists would cut writing in

Tambrands Overcoming
Tampax, Tambrands s only product, is the best selling tampon in the world, with 44 percent of the
global market. In the overseas market, Tambrands officials talk intensely of a huge opportunity.
Only 100 million of the 1.7 billion eligible women in the world currently use tampons. Tambrands
has divided the world into three clusters with cluster three being the most difficult to market
tampons due to culture and religious beliefs. Therefore, Tambrands has approached Proctor and
Gamble about a buyout and announced a $1.85 billion deal. This deal has put P G back on the
market for selling tampons since 1980. This was a positive step because not only does P G get to
market this product with feminine hygieneproducts already being sold, they... Show more content on

Tambrands is a company that uses single product strategy to advertise their product known as
TAMPAX. This product is the best selling product with 44% of the global market share. Out of
this 44%, approximately 90% of its sales come from North America and Europe. One of the main
reasons for tampax being successful only in North America and Europe is because tampons still
have not gained popularity as a result of various cultural resistance, religious resistance and/or
myths associated with using a tampon. This case study discusses the various issues that Tambrands
had to overcome in order to create a global demand for its product.
Question: What are the Problems in the case? What are the decisions to be made?
Despite being the best selling tampon in the world, the companies earnings dropped by 12
percent in 1996. Even though ups and downs in profits are part of any business, this 12 percent
drop was a serious concern as the company uses a single product strategy, also they compete
against rivals such as Playtex Products and Kimberly Clark, this makes the stakes high. At the
same time, it s difficult to get new users as already 70% of Women in the North America already
use Tampons. This indicated a need to expand globally; upon research Tambrands officials viewed
the global market as a huge opportunity as only 100 million out of the worlds 1.7 billion women
use tampons.
In the process of expansion, Tambrands adopted a strategy of dividing the global market into 3

San Joaquin River Restoration Project
San Joaquin River Restoration Project:
Irrigating the Valley
The San Joaquin River is the backbone of the San Joaquin Valley. The valley is not only the
nation s most agricultural area but it is also one of the entire worlds. Millions depend on the
crops that come form this luscious valley. The river has gone through many drastic changes over
its illustrious lifetime. Once it was a magnificent 350 miles long it is now one of the nation s ten
most endangered rivers. The river once flowed with enough water to support steam ships and a
salmon migration it now goes completely dry in some areas. The river does not have enough water
to support itself any more and must take in water from various other places, such as the Pacific
Ocean which ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Two of the projected plans include keeping things the way they are and allowing more of the water
in Friant Dam to flow into the river to bring back the former environment that was once there as
well as improve the conditions for west side farmers. The two plans contrast drastically with each
other but both have positive and negative consequences.
If the east side farmers have it there way they will continue to be able to produce crops and
farming on the east side will still be a possibility. The Friant Dam has been irrigating the east side
of the valley since 1944. Over 95% of all water collected at Millerton is used to help agriculture.
It waters one million acres of farmland and because of it in the last 40 years the farming on the
east side has taken over Southern California as the states leader in citrus farming, the value of this
is 2.1 billion and it continues to grow. Although the farmers would prosper the environment would
still suffer and the salmon run of yester year would still be an impossibility. The east side farmers
argue that if there water was taken away only about a quarter of the east side could be farmed
without Millerton. Without Millerton s water the farmers would have had to continue to pump their
water from underground aquifers and if that had happened those aquifers would have gone dry 60
years ago. If the environmentalist and

пЃ¶Resource Sharing Computer resources can be shared in the network such as the printer,
scanner, modem etc. This allows us to track down the uses of resources. For example, a network
administrator can set up a printer server and share it in the network. Then the user can use printer
server for printing. Now administrator needs only to monitor the print server instead of individual
workstations. This is economically better. пЃ¶Application Sharing Application sharing is the most
common in companies. Companies may have a business application that needs to be updated by
several users. Sharing make it possible. It allows several users to work together on a single
application. пЃ¶Economic benefits With computer networking, you can use a lot of software and
hardware available on the market which can just be stored or installed on a server and can be used
by various workstations. Dis Advantage: пЃ¶Need of Technicians The network should be checked
frequently monitored for good performance and no problems on its physical and logical
component. The expert technicians are required to do so it cost a lot of money to hire them for all
time пЃ¶Network failure If any server like the file, print etc. fail then the whole network is
affected. If any hardware fails the nodes cannot be used. пЃ¶Expensive It is expensive to build and
run the network. Expensive hardware like a router, cables, hub,

  • 2. Timothy Mcveeigh Research Paper When people think of Oklahoma, they usually think about flatlands and waving wheat. The thought of terrorism would never come into mind. This is exactly what the people of Oklahoma City would ve been thinking if asked about terrorism. Sadly, on the day of April 19, 1995, Oklahoma and the nation was shocked as the unthinkable happened. The rest of the world stood still, and watched as people were rushed from the building. Families received information about their loved ones, and soon learned that they were no longer living. Parents were also sickened by the fact that their children would never be able to go to daycare again. As for the man in charge of this operation, his slow but authorized death was watched by families and friends of the victims. The rest of the nation should ve been able to view this great punishment along with the families who were affected. Timothy McVeighwas a young child who grew up just like any other kid in America. He grew up in a town called... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... For some people, this was a day to remember the awful things that one man caused. For others, it was a day of celebration. One man got what he deserved, and people rejoiced. However, some people believe that Timothy McVeigh should not get what he wished for. He wanted the whole nation to witness his death because he believed that it would prove his point. His view on his own execution, was his way of showing that the government was corrupt. He believed that the government was unconstitutional and that they were using McVeigh as a cover. No matter his view, it would never change the fact that he killed innocent people and children. Many Americans realized this, and they wanted to witness his final moments. The people should have been able to see, and even Timothy McVeigh agreed upon this. • 3. Epic of Beowulf Essay Alliteration in Beowulf The diction of the Old English poem Beowulf is distinguished primarily by its heavy use of allliteration, or the repetition of the initial sounds of words. In the original manuscript version of the poem, alliteration is employed in almost every line (or two half lines); in modern translations of the poem this is not so. Beowulf uses alliteration [my italics] and accent to achieve the poetic effect which Modern English poetry achieves through the use of poetic feet, each having the same number of syllables and the same pattern of accent (Wilkie 1271). In lines 4 and 5 of the poem we find: Oft Scyld Scefing sceapena preatum monegum ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Such stressed alliterative binding together created hundreds of pairs that are used over and over, such as halig/heofon holy/heaven, dryhten/dugud lord/troop, fyren/feond sin/enemy. The pairs need not be complementary, but rather can be contrastive, like eadig/earm happy/wretched and wearm /winter warm/winter. These dictional contrasts provide the listener additional pleasure by surprising his expectations. The alliteration also includes stressed vowels (Tharaud 34). Prof. Magoun, in examining the poem, considers it probable that a high percentage of the language in Beowulf is formulas or phrases repeated from a common bank of phraseology from which all poets drew their language (88 89). From this common bank the poets drew out what they need based on the requirements of alliteration. In his essay The Making of an Anglo Saxon Poem, Robert P. Creed agrees that alliteration was the poet s basis for making his choice of words: I shall therefore take only a very small portion of Beowulf, eight verses (four lines), and attempt, by means of references to similar verses and lines in the rest of the poem and in other surviving Anglo Saxon poems, to illustrate the thesis that the making of any Anglo Saxon poem was a process of choosing rapidly and largely on the basis of alliterative [italics mine] needs not between individual words but between formulas (142). The alliteration in the poem was so ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Liberal Bias Does the Media Have a Liberal Bias? Fred Barnes and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has different views on liberal prejudice. First, Barnes agrees to the media liberal unfairness, and he claims that the media refuse to give conservatives a job. Furthermore, positive news reports have data to prove that the liberal media is unfair. Next, Kennedy admits that bias do exist in the media; however, he is certain that the media has a conservative bias instead of a liberal bias. Kennedy also claims that United States citizens believe in news that is untrue. The media tends to implant incorrect information through the radio, newspaper, and many others from the conservative viewpoint (Finsterbusch 2014). • 5. Turning Point Of Juno Analysis of the movie Juno Plot The movie follows a sixteen year old teenager named Juno. She often hangs out with her best friend Leah and a guy named Paulie Bleeker, however after an accident with Bleeker, Juno finds herself pregnant. At this time Juno knew she had to do something so she went to the nearest Women s Clinic, but soon she changes her mind and gives it up for adoption instead. With the help from Leah they soon find an ad in a newspaper, Juno decides to contact them and later she meets up with them. They seem like the perfect parents but after a dramatic turn she finds out that they may not be what she once thought. The big turning point for me would be when Mark reveals that he is going to break up with Vanessa. After this Vanessa gets her heart shattered and Juno wants to help them out. This led to Juno having to make many difficult decisions, even the whole plot changed from one thing to the other. All this makes this certain turning point stand out from the rest and that is why in my opinion this is the most ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Even when she gets pregnant she tries to create an attitude that in turn changes how she acts around her friends and family. Bleeker however really tries to let the mother do all of the work and he even tries to put this thing aside as evidenced during one of the running segments. These two are the main characters since I think the film is mainly about the relationship between both of them. • 6. Pros And Cons Of Birth Control traception Contraception is used to prevent pregnancy. The use of condoms can prevent pregnancy and protect against STDs. Other protective barriers, such as dental dams, are recommended for oral sex and analingus. Some sexually transmitted infections, such as genital warts and genital herpes can be spread through skin to skin contact, not just penetrative sex. For those in committed relationships who seek only to prevent pregnancy, there are many forms of birth control, and a healthcare provider can discuss options and detail what is the ideal form of birth control. There is no single universal method that works for everyone. According to Michael McGee, MEd, a certified sexual health educator and adjunct professor at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey, sexual health is intimately related to reproduction. Birth control choices to prevent pregnancy and the steps couples need to take to have a healthy pregnancy are all aspects of sexual health. Some factors a qualified physician will take into consideration when discussing options are: Patient s sexual activity Previously used birth control methods Existing medical conditions Lifestyle and likelihood of taking a daily pill on schedule Use of tobacco products Existence of menstrual migraines Menstrual flow Personal and family history of blood clots Existence or history of breast cancer Family history of ovarian cancer History of premenstrual syndrome History of acne Current medications Desire to become ... • 8. Psychedelic Variation Many differences exist in individuals as of how one perceives the environment, such as, sensing different chemicals. Several studies have shown that not every individual has the ability of tasting phenylthiocarbamide, also known as PTC. PTC was accidentally discovered in 1930 when Arthur Fox unintentionally released a large quantity of PTC in his laboratory. He noticed that some people could taste the bitterness of the PTC, while others could not. Bitterness is one of the five tastes a human can distinguish through taste receptors on the tongue. These receptors serve as a defense mechanism of possible intakes that may be toxic. The ability to taste bitterness will most likely decrease the possibility of consuming something that is toxic. However,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Each human carries two copies of the PTC gene, which whose combination justifies whether the individual can taste the bitterness or not (Drayna, 2005). There are two alleles of the PTC gene in which an individual can carry two taster alleles (TT), two non taster alleles (tt), or one of each (Tt). The allelic variation that detects the PTC tasting is located in over 5 to 7 chromosomes (Bufe, 2005). Like many others traits, the sensitivity to PTC is hereditary (Suzuki et al., 2010). There are specific genotypes that determine the individual s ability to taste the bitterness of the PTC. If the bitterness can be tasted, it means the individual has a dominant allele inherited from either parent (Wooding et al., 2004). The ability to taste PTC has been widely studied as a Mendelian trait. Surveys have been done regarding the genetics of taste by classifying the tasters and non tasters of PTC. By analyzing the statistical results, it was discovered that the ability to taste PTC is dominant. However, this may vary between men and women. Studies have also shown that women are more sensitive to PTC than men, therefore, it may be that PTC tasting is related to the levels of dithiotyrosine in the saliva. If only certain people can taste the chemicals of PTC bitterly, then more women will be able to taste PTC then men ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 9. The Anglo Saxon And The Epic Hero The Anglo Saxon time period was an era full of storytelling and lyrical poems. Storytellers developed an oral tradition during this period as they memorized, adapted, and passed along stories and songs. Many of the Anglo Saxon stories were epics, which are long poems that tell a story of a heroic deed or a legendary event from the past. These epics invariably included an epic hero, or a larger than life figure that presented their courage, virtue, and skill against an evil or opposing figure. In addition to the epic hero, the Anglo Saxon s incorporated their values into the epics. By incorporating these into the songs, they were able to teach not only their values, but also life lessons to the audience. A prominent Anglo Saxon epic is the song, Beowulf. In the song, protagonist, Beowulf battles the following three evil forces: Grendel, Grendel s mother, and a dragon. In all three of these battles, Beowulf manifests many of the values of the Anglo Saxon s such as loyalty, bravery, and strength. The Seafarer is an Old English poem giving a first person account of a man alone on the sea. The poem consists of 124 lines, followed by the single word Amen and is recorded only in the Exeter Book, one of the four surviving manuscripts of Old English poetry. Hades And Persephone Research Paper The Ancient Greeks lived a life oriented around religion, and this religious centered life came with religious ceremonies to celebrate both men and women s coming of age into adulthood. One interesting rite of passage for both men and women were the Eleusinian mysteries. These mysteries are based and centered on the myth of Hades and Persephone, commonly used as an explanation for the changing of the seasons, but has two other interpretations: the sexual awakening and becoming a woman, and also the idea that is is possible to come back from the afterlife. Hades may not be the end of everyone. Prior to her kidnapping, Persephone had no name and was referred to as Kore, or maiden. Now the dominant discourse has framed the so called Great Development Challenge as an effort to extend the dynamism of liberalism to those denied access and equal opportunity (Tripathi 2011). This does not make accounts of horrendous poverty any less legitimate, not does it make the suicides of farmers any less tragic. But some argue that the statistics speak for themselves. In 1991, 35.8% of India s population of 846 million, that is, about 300 million people, lived on less than one dollar a day, which is the generally accepted measure that economists use worldwide to define absolute poverty (in a strictly global context, as opposed to relative poverty, which is necessary an intra state indicator) . Ten years later, the figure dropped to 27.5%. By 2006, with India s population at 1.02 billion people, that necessarily implied that there were 270 million people living in absolute poverty. In the intervening years, when India added 115 million people, those living in absolute poverty fell by 30 million. Had the poverty rate remained as it was, that is 35.8% , there have been 365 million poor people. The trigger of the austerity measures was the Greek crisis, which brought to light that the EU member states are more concerned with national issues than EU integration during times of crisis (Frangakis 2010) and showed the fragilities of the Eurozone. The lack of coordination among member states on scal policy was remarkable, and the imbalances and divergences were wrongly addressed more as Mediterranean ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Americans have over 75 guns per 100 people, whereas other western countries range from 5 to 30 guns per 100 people (2007 small arms survey). Gun violence is a major issue in the United Statesdue to lack of guncontrol. The lack of gun control makes handguns too readily available to citizens, allows those who should not own a firearmthe ability to purchase firearms, and no policy on secure storage of firearms. As a result, I conclude that a combination of restriction of private ownership of handguns and stricter background check and storage policy would eliminate some of the violence caused by guns. Introduction This qualitative research will investigate how addiction effects the psychological and physical functioning of daily life. Psychological functioning is the cognitive and behavioral characteristics of an individual and how they work. This research relates to counseling. The field of counseling looks at methods that will engage an individual with personal issues and how they cope on daily basis. I have several reasons why this topic is of interest to me. The brains of addicted people have been modified by the drug in such a way that absence of the drug makes a signal to their brain that is equivalent to the signal of when you are starving , says National Institute of Drug Abuse Director Dr. Nora Volkow. It is as if the individual was in a state of deprivation, where taking the drug is indispensable for survival. It s as powerful as that. Addiction grows more serious over time. Substance use disorders travel along a continuum. This progression can be measured by the amount, frequency, and context of a person s substance use. As their illness deepens, addicted people need more alcohol or other drugs; they may use more often, and use in situations they never imagined when they first began to drink or take drugs. The illness becomes harder to treat and the related health problems, such as organ disease, become worse. This is not something that develops overnight for any individual, says addiction expert Dr. Kathleen Brady. Generally there s a series of steps that individuals go through from experimentation and occasional use [to] the actual loss of control of use. And it really is that process that defines addiction. I have worked in a pharmacy over many years and have seen many mistakes happen with a good and bad ending. The two most common mistakes that are not the fault of the pharmacist are giving the wrong prescription to the wrong customer at check out and not following HIPPA standards. There are many cases where customers can have common names and are given the wrong prescription due to lack of verification. I have personally heard of a customer calling back because they realized they have the wrong medication. An instance of such could go in a very bad direction if a customer takes the medication and causes health problems or death, which would result in a malpractice lawsuit. Although it was not the pharmacist error because it was an employee working under the pharmacist, the pharmacist could lose their license and much money due to this mistake. As long as the pharmacist has professional liability insurance this mistake would be covered and licenses would not be threatened to be taken. Another main area for possible lawsuits would be disregarding or not following HIPPA regulations properly. In ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Semisolid Processing 2.1THE BEGINNING OF SEMISOLID PROCESSING Semisolid processing originates with the research at MIT on the viscosity behavior of tin/lead alloys during solidification, published by Spencer,Mehrabian, and Flemings in 1972.The original purpose was to examine the shear stress of semisolid structures with a view to shedding light on hot tearing mechanisms in solidifying alloys, but it was discovered that the process of shearing clearly altered the microstructure, changing the dendritic morphology of the solid into more spherical form that brought about a dramatic fall in shear stress and viscosity. This is of course the phenomenon of Thixotropy, well known to ceramicists and polymer scientists, but until then not observed in metallic systems. This discovery at MIT initiated an in depth study of thixotropy in alloys, and the awareness that stirred semisolid alloys could be injected as in die casting into molds with certain advantages: The controlled higher viscosity flow meant that less air ... Since the beginning of the industrial revolution over a century and a half ago, nothing has been more pivotal to mankind s rise to power as the apex species of planet earth. This negative stigma stems from its military roots and its potential for catastrophic disaster, which has become very real in the wake of Japan s recent natural disasters. The answer to kicking our oil habit may actually be much simpler than any of these other alternatives. The key to securing our energy independence may have been under our feet the entire time we were bending to the oil cartel s (OPEC s) every demand. Here in America we have been sitting atop a goldmine of natural gas wells that rank among the most abundant in the world. While natural gas is by no means a renewable source of energy, reserves are much more plentiful in America than oil. Natural gas also burns much cleaner than coal making it friendlier to our heavily burdened atmosphere. • 35. The Potential And Its Effects On Cancer Cells Limitless replicative potential is an acquired capability of many cancer cells, and it was listed as one of the original hallmarks of cancer [1]. It is mostly achieved by upregulation of telomerase, a reverse transcriptase DNA synthesis enzyme that maintains the telomeres length. Most tumor cells have a high level of telomerase activity but short telomeres due to prior divisions before achieving telomerase activating malignancies [2]. In contrast, normal progenitor cells and stem cells have relatively long telomeres and lower mitotic/telomerase activity, and in normal differentiated somatic cells telomerase expression is repressed. Thus, telomerase inhibition provides an attractive therapeutic opportunity because of its universality, criticality and specificity for cancercells [3]. Numerous strategies have been proposed for silencing this enzyme [reviewed in 2 3], but due to heterogeneity and complexity of cancers, as well as polymorphisms in human genomes, the search for effective and precise treatments for polymerase inhibition is still active. Nanotechnology is the latest evolving field, and its applications in cancer therapeutics have demonstrated great potential. Specifically, nanomedicine utilizes the advantages of nanodelivery systems [4].
