ACADEMIC PROJECTS
• Segmentation of Brain MRI using Artificial Neural Network
The main objective of this work is the segmentation of brain tissues from brain MRI. It shows
how an optimal partitioning of the white matter and grey matter present in the brain is
performed. For segmentation, the required region of brain has to be extracted from available
images by stripping off the unwanted skull region present. This operation of skull stripping is
done with application software MatLab with a newly developed algorithm ‘One Group One
Intensity’. This project founds application for analysing brain tumour, Alzheimer’s etc.
• Tele-Analyzer
This equipment is used to analyze the electrical quantities of a device through telephone
lines. It is a stepping stone to futuristic tele-servicing system.
