JOB DESCRIPTION • INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (ICU) • Perform duties and tasks as per the Code of Conduct Agreement and Policy • Actively participates in all quality and performance improvement activities within the department/service and within the hospital as per the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Program. • Actively participates in all of the education requirement and activities as per the hospital education program • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in accordance with established Policies and Guidelines; provides guidance, direction and coordination for assigned personnel in activities directed towards standards of patient care, safety and Infection Control. • Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates individual patient care. • Performs a variety of supportive and technical nursing skills and utilizes a range of equipment, supplies, medications, treatments, monitoring techniques and other diagnostic, therapeutic and supportive measures in carrying out medical orders • Initiates and perform a range of nursing measures based on patient needs related to physical and mental comfort, positioning and mobilization, nutrition and hydration, bowel and bladder elimination, care of skin and
