Summary Of Professional Experiences:
I started My Carrier with Fortis hospital ( JCI, NABH ) Mulund, Mumbai in India. I have
been appointed as Junior Staff Nurse from 1/11/2012 to 30/1/2013 under Medical Surgical
ICU and NICU. Later from 1/2/2013 to 27/3/2016 I am worked as senior staff nurse under
medical surgical ICU. I have experience with Dialysis CRRT and Renal Transplant Unit too.

multispecialty hospital. It caters to all specialized medical and surgical cases like cardiac
surgery, Neurology, Oncology Urology, ENT, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology,

and managed by highly qualified personnel.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:-
 To ensure that my patients remain stable and that they are receiving the pain
medication and treatment, as well as diagnostic testing as required.
 Handling Postoperative emergencies.
 Assisting Doctors in Central Line Insertion, Arterial Line Insertion, and
Intubation.
 Assisting Doctors in daily rounds
 Prevention of infection
 Teamwork, co-ordination, co-operation and Time management.
 Demonstrate nursing procedures and supervise junior nurses, student nurses
and para-nursing staffs
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:-
 Administrative:-
Bed Making.
 Nursing Assessment.
 Monitoring Vital Signs and continuous cardiac monitoring.
 Follow infection control protocol .
 Checking the circulation, airway and breathing.
 Insertion of I/V cannula, maintain I/V line.
 Medications- oral, intramuscular, intravenous subcutaneous,
intradermal, topical, sublingual and per-rectal.
 Blood transfusion.
 Carryout the Doctors Order.
 Suction (nasopharyngeal airway ,oral & ET tube, tracheostomy)
 Ventilator care.
 Ryles tube insertions and NG feeding
 Perineal care.
 Colostomy care
 Monitor The ECG
 Continuous cardiac monitoring.
 Defibrillation
 Active and Passive Exercise.

3.  Assisting in Venesection arterial line insertion , central line insertion
,HD Cath insertion, Pacemaker insertion, IABP insertion ,ICD insertion
etc.
 Proper documentation.
 Controlled use of narcotics in accordance with hospital policies and
procedures.
 Immediate postoperative care
 Major and Minor dressings and Removal of drains.
Extends immediate nursing care to patients with:
Postoperative cases of CAG, angioplasty, CABG , AVR, MVR, Aortic dissection and TKR ,THR,
Spinal Surgeries, Craniotomy, Renal Transplant, Liver Transplant, Fracture Fixations,
GI Surgeries, Patients on Dialysis ,Sleeve Gastrectomy, Wound Debridement.
1. Provides care to clients with cardiac arrhythmias like supraventricular
tachycardia, ventricle tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation and heart block.
2. Care of clients with temporary pacemakers, permanent pacemaker
implantation, care of the ICD drainages.
3. Care of clients on tracheostomy & endotracheal intubation & emergency
management in cardiac arrest.
4. Provides nursing care of clients on ventilators and handle the infusion pumps,
assisting for procedures like intubation and intubation, central venous
catheterization.
5. Initiate CPR on cardiac arrest patient.
6. Seek opportunity for personal growth development by participating in service
training, patient care conferences, unit meetings, quality improvement & offer
suggestions related for improving services.
7. Performing nursing procedures like emergency admissions & transfer of the
patient, administration of medication and IV fluids, blood collection including
ABG, insertion of peripheral lines, Ryles tube & Foleys catheterization.
8. Check the working condition of equipment’s like ventilators, cardiac monitors,
infusion pumps, defibrillators suction apparatus, ambu bags, oxygen flow
meters.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITES
 Supervising nursing personnel, junior staff nurse, hospital Aids and
nursing orderlies during the performance of their duties.
 Assisting the student nurses in the bedside care.
 Supervising the equipment and supplies of the ward and checking
periodically the inventory along with the team members.
