Results from the Questionnaire
• We have sent a questionnaire to our target
group, which are years 7-11, so the content
we write on our project will be relevant and
useful to them, as they are younger than us.
From the questions we have asked on the
questionnaire, about 300 people have
answered them. This is an analysis of all the
results we got.
From this information, we can see that most of the people who answered this were
in year 7, and were mostly in the lower years of island school. From this information
we will set our target group to be more for the lower years, and make it more
suitable and relative to them. The content of our final project will be based mainly
more for the younger years in our school, so we will choose to write about topics
that will be more useful and relevant for the younger people in the school.
Many people said that they want the Island school survival guide
to be presented as a website, so we will make a website with
videos and pictures for this project.
We are going to include some tips and videos in our project to help the students at
Island school with their school life. From this Information we can see that many
students have the most problems with their homework, so our tips and videos will be
based mainly on homework problems.
We want to try and include vines in our project, so we have asked them if they enjoy
watching them. A majority of them do enjoy watching vines, so we will try to include
this on our final project.
A lot of people said that they found tabs leading to different pages really eyecatching on a website, so we wild try to include this in our website. They also said
that n online banner would also be eye-catching, so we will also try to include this.
• Overall, from this questionnaire, we have
asked to our target group, we found out about
what we should do for our website, and how
we will make it so it will be suitable for out
target group. From this information, we will
make our website based on this
information, in order to make it useful and
suitable for our target group.
