The document discusses the key resources and equipment needed to create a music magazine, including a computer, font website, Adobe InDesign software, camera, tripod, and Pixlr image editing software. A computer is needed for desktop publishing and image editing. Adobe InDesign is recommended for its desktop publishing capabilities. A camera is required to take photos for the magazine, and the document discusses options between a high-quality DSLR and an iPhone camera. A tripod will be borrowed from school to keep the camera steady. Pixlr is an online image editor similar to Photoshop that provides free and accessible editing tools.
Here is a presentation about all the technologies that I have used so far in production of my music magazine and others that I will use later on in the task:)

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.

2. Computer
• A computer is probably the most crucial piece of equipment that I will
need. This the print brief that I am following states that I will be making the
front cover, contents page and double page spread of a music magazine
‘using DTP and an image manipulation program’. I will need a computer to
use desktop publishing and ‘an image manipulation program’. I will be use
bothy a windows computer and an Apple Mac. This is because at school
the computers run windows but I have an Apple laptop. This means that I
will have to find alternatives to some of the programmes that can be used
of the school computers. An example of this would be Paint.Net, this is an
editing programme that it only available on windows computers and so I
have done some research and found a number of other, very similar
programmes that I would be able to use on a mac. However, I will be doing
a lot of work at home as well as in school so I may just use my laptop and
bring it to school so everything is in one place.
3. Font space
• Font space is a website that allows you to use a variety of different
fonts that are not available on normal word processing software such
as Microsoft word. This website would be good for me to use when
making my magazine because it would allow me to use different types
of fonts that would make my magazine more unique. When I am
making my magazine I would want to ensure that the fonts I use fit
the genre of my magazine so that it draws in my target audience. As
much as possible, I would also like to use fonts that are unique so that
it is a font that is associated with my magazine.
4. Adobe InDesign
• Adobe InDesign is a desktop publishing software that allows you to make things like
magazines, flyers and brochures. For this reason it would be a good piece of software to
use when I am designing and making my magazine, especially the double page spread. I
will be able to use this piece of software on the computers at school very easily as it is
already installed on them, also because this software is free and is available on a Mac
computer I will be able to download it onto my laptop and use it at home as well. This
also makes it a good piece of software for me to use because it is very accessible to me.
5. Camera
• In order to make the front cover, double page spread and contents page of my
magazine I will need a camera to take photos of my models for the images that
will be in my magazine. I could use a camera from school. This would be a Nikon
D810. This is a 36.3 megapixel camera and so it takes very high quality pictures
and for this reason it would be a very good camera to use as high quality images
would make my magazine also look high quality. However, I would have to borrow
this camera from the media department at school and the school does not have
many cameras that people can borrow and a lot of people would want to borrow
them all at the same time I may have to use another camera. Another option
could be to use the camera that is on my phone. I would be using the 8 megapixel
camera that is on an iPhone 6. Whilst this camera is not as good quality as the
camera on the Nikon DSLR D810 it still produces good quality images and it is also
easier for me to use as I will not have to learn to use it and I will be also to use
this camera anytime and anyplace as it is a lot more easily accessible.
6. Tripod
• I will also need to use a tripod. This will ensure that the camera
stays still whilst I am taking photos and this is important because it
will ensure that I take high quality images that are important if I
want to make a good magazine. I will be able to borrow a tripod
from school and this tripod will fit the Nikon DSLR D810 camera
that is also available o borrow from school. If I choose to use the
iPhone 6 camera that will not have a tripod because I would be
able to buy one very cheaply from Amazon or ebay.
7. Pixlr
• Pixlr is an online image editing software that is much like Photoshop
in that it can be use to brighten, change the colour of the image, add
text and much more, it even has he layers feature which is very useful
fore making a detailed image as it allows you to ensure that every
aspect of the image is exactly how you would like it. This image
editing software is easy to use and it is free so it is very easily
accessible to me. In addition to this it is used on the internet and you
do not even have to download anything. This is good because it
means that you can use it on any computer but if you do not have
access to the internet then this could be an issue.
