2. Blogger
This is the piece of technology I will be using
most throughout my coursework. I have learnt
how to use blogger after using it in my AS
coursework. I will use it to create posts
containing information and relevant music
videos, as well as my own final product.

3. Search Engines
Search engines are very useful when gathering
secondary information from the Internet. Search
engines are good to use because they are very
quick and suggest many sites to use. I will use a
variety of search engines, but the main one I will
be using is Google, as I think it is the quickest
and has the best results.

4. Apple Mac
This is the computer I will be using to edit my
video. I have used it before at AS and BTEC level
and have become very familiar with it. I know
how to use all the advanced features and look
forward to using this technology again.

5. iMovie
iMovie is the piece of software that I will be
using to edit my music video. I have used it
before and I think this is the best software to
use for editing. It has a lot of useful features and
professional effects.

6. YouTube
YouTube is the site I will be using to find and
watch music videos. It allows me to embed
videos onto my blog which is useful when
writing about a song, I can then post a video to
show what I am talking about. I have used
YouTube for a number of years and am
comfortable using it.

7. PC’s
I will need to use a PC to access my blogger
account. I will mainly be using 2 computers
which are the school computers and my own PC.
Without theses pieces of technology it would be
very difficult to access my coursework as I think
these are the most reliable.

8. PowerPoint
PowerPoint is needed to create a slide share
presentation. I have used it for presenting work
in other subjects and find it easy to use. I can
use lots of different fonts, add pictures and
animations to make the presentation of my
ideas more visual.

9. Word
I will use word processing to write some blog
posts. Sometimes it's easier to set text out in
different places than doing on blogger.

10. iPad
My iPad is useful when needing to update my
blog quickly as it doesn't need time to load up
like a PC. I find it more difficult using an iPad to
upload things like photos to my blog because of
the touch screen. However, it's more portable
and this means I can edit my blog wherever I like
- provided there is an Internet connection.

11. Notes App for Apple
I will use this app in the same way as word.
Again, sometimes it is easier to write onto
something else, then copy and paste to Blogger.

12. iPad Keyboard Dock
I find using a keyboard is a lot easier than using
a touch screen one. I find I can type much
quicker and it is less awkward to use as the
buttons are larger and has a traditional layout. It
also charges my iPad while I use it.

13. Sony Ericsson Xperia Play
I can use my phone to communicate with my
actors for my music video and take my recce
shots. However (although not an ideal way) I am
able to access my blog. The mobile site isn't as
easy to use as the normal site but if I need to
access my blog I can.

14. Panasonic V500
This is the camera I will be using to film my
video. I have used this camera before and
haven't had any problems with it. It has a good
resolution and I am able to use it with or
without a tripod, this makes it able to film many
different shots.

15. Slideshare
I will use slide share to present my ideas on
various posts. I think it is a more professional
way of presenting information rather than just
writing an 'essay like' post. It also makes it more
interesting.
