The first radio show I have picked is Capital's Roman Kemp. He interviews the
famous Ant & Dec. Kemp introduces what is coming on TV this weekend: Saturday
Night Takeaway. He asks them questions about the BRIT Awards after parties and
they tell him a story about Eminem. In the back, you can hear music but not aren't
able to hear what the song is. There are no sound effects to it or voice overs. The
audience for Capital FM is 15-34 (as researched) so this interview would appeal to
them because Ant & Dec are very popular and famous for their humour from
programmes such as 'Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here' or 'Saturday Night Takeaway'.
This makes people want to watch what they have to say because the audience
knows that it's going to be funny. The Capital FM interview is slightly different as
its going to be about life rather than TV shows.

The next radio show I have picked is a talk between the MMA fighter Conor
McGregor on 'Interviews with Famous People'. At the start of the talk, there is
music then an introduction to McGregor. In the show, they talk about his life and
some facts about him and his fights and then actually introduce him onto the
show. On the show they talk, his fights and past comments that he has said to
people. During the show there is no music at all whilst they are talking. The
interviewer does sound quite nervous. This may be because if he says something
wrong, he might get beaten. This is similar to my interview as they are talking
about his achievements in life. This is also given in a different perspective as he is
male and my interviewee is female. This would make people listen to it as he is a
famous MMA fighter that people know of and want to know the latest updates
and news about him.

The third radio show I have picked is a interview with JLS. There is no music at all in
this show. Jo Whiley, is talking about girls in this interview and JLS's embarrassing
moments with girls. She goes through the band members and asks them to make
sure she doesn't miss any of them out and get as much information from them.
She talks about the success from 12 months ago to the present day and their
relationships and break ups. People would want to listen to it because they may
like JLS or could have liked them when they were still big and famous. It is similar
to mine as again they are talking about their lives and what is happening in the
current moment.

5. Research Analysis
What common features do the researched products have?
Some common features are some had music added to it and the others didn't. They all
had famous people to interview because they knew then people would listen to it
because they might like those particular celebrities.
What aspects of the research will you include within your on work?
Of course, I don't have a celebrity to interview but I will try to make it sound as if it is.
By this, I will, laugh and ask her the questions and make comments back.
7. Audience Profile
Category Demographic Content to appeal to this audience
Age Range
19+ I have made the audience 19+ because the
radio is about life. It is an interview about life. I
don't think it would appeal to an audience
younger.

Both Any gender can listen to it. However, the
person I am interviewing is female.
Psychographic
Achiever/Emulator Most people need money or power and others
need to be more successful and want to
become achievers.
