• It is a new thin film technology with
deposition of crystalline silicon films with
very thin grains at 200-500ºC
• The maximum efficiency of this cell is 8.5%
• In order to improve the efficiency,
microcrystalline cells are combined with
amorphous silicon cells to give efficiency
