General Objectives
To develop the mentality of students .
To enable the students to understand the lesson and
grasp its meaning.
Specific Objectives
To enable the student translating literary passage
To enable the student understanding the meaning of
vocabulary
To enable the student to use nouns and pronouns
correctly

How I started
After welcoming, I started my class giving my
students short fable about a mouse and lion.
Lion and Mouse
A mouse was running up and down a lion’s face , the
lion woke up and was about to eat him , the mouse
begged the lion to let him live. The mouse made a deal
with lion if loin let him go, the mouse would repay him
one day, but the lion started to laugh at the mouse.
Soon after , lion was trapped in a net , the mouse heard
the lion’s roar running to him, it nibbled through the net
,freezing the lion and he realize that mouse could help
him
Read and focus
* After reading, I’m going to let my students translate
from target language into native language (English to
Arabic) because I’m the authority here.
* They will focus on grammar rules and vocabulary.
Ask me
While student translating, teacher asks if there is any
question or some difficult vocabulary. For example,
Abdullah was asking about the meaning of “roar” and
I translated in his native language
They might write down what I've just said in which to
develop their writing skill.
Deductive application
Moving to the fun part , after reading and answering
now we’re going to take a grammar rule called “
Nouns and Pronouns”
I’m going to present the rules with examples, once
they understand , they are asked to apply it in some
new examples
I may use board usage to explain
Deductive application
Memorization
I’ll give students list of target language
vocabulary and words related to the
grammar rule with the native language
equivalents and ask to memorize them .
I’m going to let students check their
answers by teaching aids . (Next slide)
