Replacement is the action or process of replacing something in place of another. A customer can request for replacement whenever he is not happy with the item, reason being Damaged shipping, Defective item, Item(s) missing, Wrong item shipped.
***THERE WILL BE NO PART REPLACEMENT OR REFUNDS (in MVP)***
How Replacement happens?
Seller needs to approve the replacement request. If the reason of replacement isWrong Item Sent or Any other reason (Damaged, Defective etc.) Seller searches for the right product in the inventory, if he has the product, he will ship the replacement to the customer.
If the seller doesn’t have the product listed on the website however he has it with him, he can go ahead and list the product and place an order for the product to be shipped to the customer.
Incase the seller doesn’t have the product at all; he can choose to initiate a full refund request. In this case refund will be processed by Order Management refunds.
OR
If the seller doesn’t respond to the customer’s replacement request, after 3 days refund process will be initiated.
Replacement fee?
Seller to pay for replacement, Logistics (eKart) to update the shipping fee in the system and the same gets deducted from the seller’s a/c at the time of settlement.
