The objective of this study was to correlate body weight and urine pH. The classification of urine as it is dilute acidic or basic solution known as urine pH. Neutral pH of urine is seven. If the solution pH is less than seven, then it is acidic. If the pH of the solution is greater than seven, then it is basic. When the concentration of sodium ions is more, greater the acidity of the urine solution. Alkaline urine contains bicarbonates-carbonic acid buffer. Acidosis, diarrhea, dehydration and starvation is faced when the pH is acidic. Normal body weight is necessary for a proper heath. If there is a high level of cholesterol leads to many disease, like cardiac diseases and many more. Subjects took urine sample in a container and then dipstick test was performed. We dipped the stick for 2-3 seconds and then allow to change the color of the stick. After that, we compared the color variation with the standard and then noted the values for the urine pH. We took the urine sample of the patients and meanwhile we measured the weight of the patients. We analyzed the results by estimating the percentages. In this project, it was a questionnaire based study in which we asked the patients about their pH in urine. of the samples. There were four different categories of body weights and also noted the readings accordingly. It was concluded that human body weight and urine pH had a significant relationship.

INTRODUCTION
The classification of urine as it is dilute acidic or basic solution known as urine pH. Neutral pH of urine is seven. If
the solution pH is less than seven, then it is acidic. If the pH of the solution is greater than seven, then it is basic. The
glomerular filtrate of blood has pH 7.4 to a pH of 6 in urine, as it is acidified by the kidney. The range from 4.5 to 8
depends on the individual acid-base status. Kidneys play an important role in acid-base balance by reabsorption of
sodium and tubular secretion of hydrogen and ammonium ions. When the concentration of sodium ions is more,
greater the acidity of the urine solution. Alkaline urine contains bicarbonates-carbonic acid buffer. Acidosis,
diarrhea, dehydration and starvation is faced when the pH is acidic. Similarly, obstruction in urinary tract, pyloric
obstruction and renal tubular acidosis due to basic conditions of urine solution. Non-vegetarians have less pH and it
is acidic condition. Fruits, citrus, legumes raise the pH and urine becomes more basic. Bacteria are responsible for
the urinary tract infection, urine becomes more basic because it converts urea into ammonia and alkaline waste
products.in acidosis and alkalosis, pH varies differently. The control of pH is crucial in management of several
other diseases, bacteriuria, renal calculi and drug therapy. Renal stone formation is related to urine pH. Calcium
phosphate, calcium carbonate and magnesium sulphate stones develop in alkaline urine, to control this condition,
urine kept acidic. Uric acid, cysteine and calcium oxalate stones must be kept in alkaline condition. Drugs include
streptomycin, neomycin and kanamycin are effective in treatment of urinary tract infection. Sulfa drugs and
alkaline urine helps protect formation of sulfonamide crystals. Weight of a body defines our health. Normal body
weight is necessary for a proper heath. If there is a high level of cholesterol leads to many disease, like cardiac
diseases and many more. People must be conscious about their health fitness. A fit person can enjoy all the taste of
life. One must use defined food for safe and healthy life. Do not over eat or not to eat. Both conditions can be
dreadful for an individual. Here are many strategies available to improve and maintain health.

MATERIAL AND METHODS
Measurements of Urine pH
In this study, 100 subjects took part in for urinalysis. Subjects took urine sample in a container and then dipstick test
was performed. We dipped the stick for 2-3 seconds and then allow to change the color of the stick. After that, we
compared the color variation with the standard and then noted the values for the urine pH.
Statistical Analysis
Statistical analysis was done by applying the rules of M-Stat. t-Test was applied to deduct these results.
RESULTS
According to our study, results were significant. Many candidates or participants had not acidic or basic pH. They
have neutral urine pH which was 7. These results gave us indication about the relationship between human body
weight and urine pH. A similar study was already conducted to correlate the blood pressure and body weight.

Results were significant (p<0.01)
In females, results were shown in the table 2, that the urine pH of female students were independent of body weight.
There was not any relationship between the urine pH and body weight.

DISCUSSION
Urine samples of the patients were collected and meanwhile., we measured the weight of the patients. In this
project, it was a questionnaire based study in which we asked the patients about their pH in urine. of the samples.
There were four different categories of body weights and also noted the readings accordingly. From these results,
there was a greater percentage of patients who had normal pH in their urine and their weight was in the range of
40-50kg and 60 -80kg. In male patients, it was recognized the results that urine leukocytes presence was
independent of weight of the patients. In females, there was not any significant relationship between body weight
and urine observed.
CONCLUSION
It was concluded that human body weight and urine pH had a significant relationship.
