Three photos were rejected for the front page of a magazine. One was too blurry due to a fan used in the shoot. A second was blurry from aperture and shutter speed settings. The third had good lighting but the model was not looking at the camera, violating conventions. Cropping a fourth photo for the frame would ruin its quality.

2. Using an air fan to lift my models hair was a good effect, however the picture was too blurry and so this decreases the quality of the image.

3. A wide aperture and slow shutter speed cause blurry photos which is something I can take into consideration when taking more photos of my artist, not enough detail is shown and therefore not enough focus is given to the model.

4. Although this image has very good lighting giving a smooth texture to the skin, and better quality I still cannot use it as the model is not looking directly at the camera, which is a convention of music magazines.

In this image I began by editing the photo to use for my front page, as the model is looking directly at the camera however as there is no extra space around her it would be difficult to force the image into an A4 frame as it would ruin the quality of the photo nevertheless this is something I can think about recreating for my contents page or main article.
