1. Final Shot
This is the photo I used for my final
shot before I manipulated it. I used
it as it was the one that best fit my
theme and was creative and
original. It is eye catching because
the model’s angle of gaze is directly
at the camera, which draws in the
reader. There is a plain
background, so it does take the
attention away from her. There is a
large amount of space at the top
too, allowing room for a large
masthead.

2. Final Shot – Post Edit
This is the photo I used for my final
shot after I manipulated it. The
picture is brighter and the shadow
behind is not as obvious. I did this
by changing the levels of light until I
was satisfied with how it looked.
Once I had manipulated it, she
stood out much more against the
background and the props were
much clearer, making for a suitable
magazine cover. I also made it so
she is more in the centre of the
image by cropping the sides.
