Write An Essay On Autism Research Paper
Autism is not a lifestyle!! Can you imagine being a young autistic child who has constant stomach and
bowel pain, and having no ability to communicate your distress to others? Can you imagine having
anger fits because of your physical and emotional pain, and because you are unable to communicate
and process your feelings through speaking?
Positive Homeopathy is considered one of the best homeopathic clinics in town. Homeopathetic
treatment for Autistic children is also available under the watchful guidance of field experts. Autism,
just like most other modern illnesses, does not have a single cause. Vaccine damage, pharmaceutical
drugs, and toxic exposures such as glyphosate in food are at the top of the list of causes. Constitutional
homeopathy is the prevailing form of homeopathy treatment used around the world. It continues to
provide effective treatment for numerous types of illness including communicable infectious diseases,
vaccine injury, and autism. Through ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Clinical experience shows that results are much better when the treatment is started at an earlier age
,even though at higher ages like six or seven some kids do show remarkable improvements; but
Homoeopathic intervention at an early age(before much behavioural and emotional issues come up)
has distinct advantages but one segment of kids may respond extremely favourable to the treatment
others may fail to yield any relief. Even while treating with homeopathy the child needs to be rated on
an autism rating scale. Periodical assessments on the autism rating scale are must to gauge the
improvements in the child. Homeopathy is a holistic system of medicine; it takes into consideration
the constitutional picture (complete physical and mental make up of the child) along with the
necessary details of the disease while prescribing. Medicines that are very effective in treating autism
are Carcinocin, Thuja, and

Microagressions Poor Health
Microagressions correlated with poor health... I enjoyed the article which we all read, The Injurious
Relationship Between Racial Microagressions and Physical Health: Implications for Social Work.
Results from this study and many others have found that racial microagressions are significantly
correlated with poorer health conditions. Poor health as a result of cumulative exposure to
microagressions includes both psychological and physical problems. A pleathea of negative conditions
can arise from microagressions including, depression, higher risk of alcohol use and cigarette smoking
as (poor) coping strategies, low self esteem, emotional intensity, ambulatory and systolic blood

How Was Political Grandeur And Dignity Articulated Through...
How was political grandeur and dignity articulated through early 19th century civic architecture in
Paris? Use specific examples.
In the wake of the French revolution and King Louis XVI of France s execution in 1773, 19th century
France was a time of immense political, economic and social uncertainty as new political parties
competed for power and attempted to reform Frances governing systems. The civil architecture and
forms that were built during this period reflect these upheavals, as commissioned architects turned to
new styles, city plans and construction methods in order to serve the political ambitions of the
governing party. Architecture provided a means of articulating political grandeur and dignity both
clearly and creatively, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Due to the instabilities caused by the Napoleonic Wars a new style of architecture did not develop
during Napoleons rule, resulting in the continuation of pre French Revolution classicism. With the
intention of articulating imperialistic grandeur and referencing France as the new Roman Empire , an
emphasis was placed on neoclassical elements and the use of columns and arches becoming more
liberal. Jean Chalgrin s Arch de Triomphe provides an example of politically motivated neoclassical
architecture. The triumphant arch was commissioned by Napoleon in 1806 to serve as an honorary
monument and rallying point for the French military . Inspired in part by the Arch of Titus in the
Roman Forum, decorative high relief sculptures celebrating military victories from the French
Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars adorn the structure . It is evident that Napoleon believed that as
an empire that had annexed and made most of Europe into its satellites, the First French Empire
deserved to have its grandeur reflected by a monument that referenced one of the world s largest and
most successful ancient Empires. Through large and imposing monumental structures, Napoleon
sought to reminded French society of the military and political successes that had been achieved under
his rule and consequently idealise his leadership, The First

The Minister’s Black Veil by Nathaniel Hawthorne
One of literatures greatest quality is allowing the reader s mind to uncover subliminal messages in an
attempt to form their own understandings and ideas. Perhaps, this particular process is commonly
described in the idiom reading between the lines. While many writers have implanted this literary
aspect into their works, this essay focuses on a specific parable written by Nathaniel Hawthorne
entitled The Minister s Black Veil. Notably, a parable is a simple story used to illustrate a moral or
spiritual lesson. The characters and setting of which Hawthorne uses to get his point across creates an
overwhelming atmosphere that increases the power of his message. An analysis of Nathaniel
Hawthorne s The Minister s Black Veil offers readers an ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In this parable, Mr. Hooper gives an invisible element in sin a physical appearance in the black veil
which now makes his sin a connection between himself, God, and the townspeople. It is apparent that
Mr. Hooper is dealing with some sort of internal conflict and his way of confronting his issue is by
covering his face from everyone with the black veil.
Lastly, there are several themes in The Minister s Black Veil relating to topics including sin, guilt, fear,
and judgment. The first theme focuses on people s reaction to change. Soon after Mr. Hooper covers
his face, people secluded themselves from him and gave him bewildered stares even after he showed
them courtesy. Likewise, his wife Elizabeth left him after she failed to persuade him to abandon the
black veil. The narrator also explains how Mr. Hooper created a group of converts as well as how
people at their deathbed would not take their last breath until they received consolation from Mr.
Hooper. Strangers began to travel from long distances just to hear his sermons and gaze at his figure.
Another theme found in The Minister s Black Veil is that people fear what they do not know and do
not understand. The mystery of the black veil perhaps was the biggest thing that intimidated the
townspeople. Mr. Hooper is overcome with the same horror as the townspeople when he catches a
glimpse of himself. In an attempt to solve the mystery of the black veil, the townspeople past
judgment and create

How North Korea became a Cruel Country
How did North Korea become the cruel country that scorches both surrounding and distant nations
with its sternly severe socialist flame? Subjugated by Japan in 1910, North Korea was mercilessly
enslaved for thirty five years. Due to Japan s defeat in World War II in 1945, the United States
occupied the southern region of the Korean Peninsula while Soviet troops seized the north. As a result
communism spread like weeds. Sadly, North Korea s government, military, and economy were all by
shaped by the leftist views suppressed on them. The root of the problem was Kim Il Sung, the first
premier of the Democratic People s Republic of Korea. At the urging of the United States, the United
Nations General Assembly established elections, introduced a constitution, and formed the Republic
of Korea in South Korea. The North Korean government evenly divides the tasks of leadership among
numerous officials as this obligation requires careful attention. In accordance with their constitution,
the head of government is the premier; Choe Yong rim presently occupies this position. Specifically
aiding the premier, three vice premiers and the cabinet, which is comprised of twenty eight ministers,
are next in power. The uppermost lawmaking body, the Supreme People s Assembly, elects the
majority of cabinet members. The minister of the People s Armed Forces is the sole exception. He

Home Schooling Is A Good Idea
You may be asking yourself, how did home schooling begin? What was it like? Well, in the 1970 s and
the 1980 s home schooling began to spark. A few parents question whether public or private school
was right for their child. They were thinking they could do a better job. Well, what do you know;
parents learned they could do a better job. However, some states, prohibited home schooling. If
parents or guardians were home schooling, they could face jail time as well as losing their children to
the courts. Some parents were being arrested and some were taken to jail (Homeschooling: Getting
Started). Even today we have people who are against home schooling. Our President of the United
Stated, Obama, he doesn t believe home schooling is a good idea. He believes public school should
start as soon as age 3. He also said that students in middle and high school should complete 50 hours
of community service before they are able to go to the next grade level (Will Obama Use UN Policy to
End Homeschooling in America?).
A crucial part of an education outside of the home is the interaction amongst the students that is used
to prepare them to have constructive engagements with fellow citizens when their schooling is over.
Interacting with other children who may be taught different belief systems and come from different
social economic statuses and religious or ethnic backgrounds prepare students for their future, where
the potential of having to deal with someone who is different is

My Brief Time in a Wheelchair
My Brief Time in a Wheelchair
Why didn t she smile at me? Why did he avoid eye contact with me? I smiled, I said hello. Ah, yes.
The wheelchair. For a split second, I forgot that I was sitting in a wheelchair as the young couple
scurried by me. It seemed so natural for me to smile and greet someone as they pass, and it hurt that a
similar greeting was not returned.
This was not the only hurtful reaction I received as I learned to operate a wheelchair around a K Mart.
And, it was not easy to maneuver myself around the store. At one point I knocked down a pile of
blankets on a shelf and in the clothing section, I caught my wheelchair on a rack of shirts.
The point of my experiment in a wheelchair was to note ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There was another distinctive reaction I received. For the same reason adults looked away from me,
children stared. I was an adult who was at their level, height wise in reality, but maybe seen as an
equal to themselves. They stared and I imagine they wondered about me with love and concern only a
child can give unconditionally to anyone. They ask themselves why is this person in a wheelchair and
how is that fair? It is the child s parent who teaches them not to care by hustling their child out of
sight, as if my looking at the child is a cancerous wish upon them to receive my disabled fate.

Upon review, the following ranking of the capital project requests is recommended for
Mr. Scovanner and the Capital Expenditure Committee (CEC). The rank in order from best to worst is:
The Barn, Stadium Remodel, Whalen Court, Gopher Place, and Goldie s Square.
Attached to this document is a prepared ranking calculation that was created to best organize the five
location options. To follow, will be the justification for The Barn as the top recommendation,
alternative cases for the other four projects, and risks that can affect Target s decision. In determining
the ranking of the five proposals, there were both subjective and objective measurements. Based on
both of the types of measurements, The Barn, was the top overall recommendation. As seen in the
Ranking tab on the attached excel, the objective criteria included information from Exhibit 7 and the
provided dashboards (Exhibit8). Most notably from the exhibits, The Barn has the lowest investment
amount, highest IRR, and is in the top three for population and population growth. When looking at
the provided dashboard information regarding the sensitivity analyst, The Barn is the least sensitive to
percent changes in sales and construction cost. This is key for a new proposal in that The Barn offers
the best protection against unforeseen circumstances that are out of Target s control.
In addition to the objective rankings, The Barn is also the highest ranked when looking at subjective
criteria. Having The Barn be realized

Bat Mitzvah Ceremony
People like to think that a Bat Mitzvah is just a huge party. But it is quite the opposite and has so much

important meaning behind them. Firstly, Bat Mitzvah (daughter of commandant) have a great history.
The modern Jews wanted to start marking the event when a girl become a woman. The Bar Mitzvah

Essay on Alcohol Advertising
Alcohol Advertising
Exposure to alcohol advertising is an everyday occurrence. Alcohol advertising is persuasive not only
to adults but to those who are too young to buy alcohol legally. Although parents and peers have a
large impact on youth decisions to drink, marketing also has a significant impact by influencing the
attitudes of parents and peers and helping to create an environment that promotes underage drinking.
Alcohol companies focus billions of dollars on advertising their products and still claim that the effect
is minimal. I pose a few questions that are; who are the targets of alcohol advertising? How does
alcohol advertising affect the people targeted by alcohol companies? Finally what actions are being
taken to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Recognizing this important marketing fact, alcohol companies deliberately devise ads designed to
appeal to heavy drinkers. The heavy user of alcohol is usually an addict. Another interesting
perspective on the industry s claim that it only advertises to encourage moderate drinking to those of
age, is that if this were true, and only the 105 million drinkers of legal age in the US consumed the
official maximum moderate amount of alcohol, .99 ounces or roughly two drinks, a day the industry
would suffer a 40 percent decrease in the sale of beer, wine, and distilled spirits. Meaning that if
alcohol companies truly only targeted who they claim they do, they would only be nearly cutting their
profits in half. Besides the heavy drinkers, the young audience plays a great deal to the alcohol
industry. It is no wonder alcohol is appealing to the youth when ads only display very healthy,
attractive, and youthful looking people. Advertising is a powerful educating force in American
Culture, one that promotes attitudes and values as well as products. Ads are now even featuring
characters with special appeal to children. The makers of some 200 consumer products including
stuffed animals, dolls, T shirts, posters, and mugs are dedicated to alcohol. Advertisements have even
gone as far as popular children s movies; one example of this was the very popular Teenage Mutant
Ninja Turtles movie. The average age which people begin

Jacques Ellul s Article on Techniques Integrates Machines...
This article by Jacques Ellul on Techniques is very fascinating. The writer discusses of machines and
its relationship with technique which has been described nicely. Technique is a way of doing
something that fulfills a goal or an aim, in an organized manner. It is an art to do the work in a very
meaningful and efficient way to reach the best results. Early civilizations have seen the man growing
up in many aspects, this approach and ability to invent new things is called technique .

Technique for their existence and to some extent depend on it. But technique itself is independent and

Technical activity is the most primitive activity of man. For example: activities like hunting, fishing,
clothing, food gathering, building shelters, and weapons making all used technique. How did man
started domesticating animal or chose certain plants to cultivate is a mystery not explained. Who
motivated man for this? Is it some divine power or magic? Maybe there was a spiritual power to guide
the man to use such techniques. Such things can be explained from the life of our ancestors. Be it
Greeks and Romans using new techniques for building new arms for military or inventing Archimedes
principle. Or be it people from East making finest silks. The decline of technical aspect occurred due
to Christians who revolted against anything that was technical. Christians believed anything that is
technical is against nature and so there were public burning of books which had explained techniques
and anyone who supported new techniques was labeled as a traitor.
But during the industrial revolution why there was a sudden emergence of technical progress and why
it had not occurred before is a question which can be answered by relating it to scientific progress. It
was the close connection in technical invention and scientific research which was responsible for the
research that was done primarily in areas where technically it

Oedipus
had fallen to fate or made his own decisions, but if you think about it, the prophecy stated literally
everything that was going to happen, and maybe it would not had happened if Oedipus did not seek
out everything because the prophecy only unfolded when he began to venture out and look for the

what led him to his banishment, so if you think about it, maybe fate did bring him to this terrible
ending, but how can we be for sure because he did make these decisions himself.
Jocasta
and
Laius
were the two to blame for believing in such a thing and leaving their child to die a terrible death, only
to come back and have the prophecy happen anyways. King
Laius
sought out the prophecy and found out that their son
(if
they had one), would eventually kill him.
He
did not want this so he gave up his son for adoption. Oedipus got into an altercation and ended up
killing his birth father even after he sought out the prophecy as well only to find out that he would still
end up killing his father.

Synthes Analysis Essay
CASE ANALYSIS
Synthes
1. Situation Analysis:
A. Nature of Demand
The products in discussion are bioresorbable internal fixation devices. These devices are surgically
placed to stabilize broken bones, aiding in allowing the body to heal itself.
Internal fixation devices in the past had been made of stainless steel or titanium, but with problems
resulting from those permanent devices, an innovative approach is being considered. Bioresorbable
implants are a possible replacement to the original implants that would eliminate the need for removal,
which has shown to be a problem for traditional implants.
The Association for the Study of Internal Fixation (AO) formed in 1958 to improve and standardize

Competition, while present, is somewhat stable and not allowing many new entrants into the arena.
While still competing with other companies such as Johnson Johnson and Biomet, Synthes sales are
almost half of the entire trauma implant manufacturers. There is a small expected increase in sales, but
the outlook for a substantial growth of new consumers does not appear to be definite. The client base
is secure.
Internal fixation devices as a whole are in the Competitive Turbulence stage, approaching Saturation.
In 2000, Fractures that resulted in fixation devices neared 713,000 patients. The market as mentioned

constantly looking for improvements
The actual bioresorbable segment is in the Market development stage. Surgeons who have a large say
in purchasing power of the products still need a great deal more information and trial before Although
other companies have introduced first and second generation bioresorbables to strengthen market
niche. Synthes participation in these efforts was minimal, as they focused primarily on improving their
standard devices, staying away from the newer bioresorbable craze. First and Second Bioresorbables
did not accelerate in sales as originally planned.

Boundaries In The United States And The Galapagos Islands
A constructive boundary is a boundary that seems to add to the surface of the earth, one example
would be mountains. These plate boundaries include continental oceanic boundary, oceanic oceanic
boundary, and continental continental boundary. For continental oceanic convergent the oceanic sinks
under the lighter continental plate and then melts into magma, this magma rises through the crust to
form volcanoes. An oceanic oceanic convergent boundary creates volcanic island chain, by the
subduction and melting of one plate then magma rises through the crust to form islands and volcanoes.
A continental continental convergent boundary is where two continental plates collide and neither of
them are dense enough to subdue so the wrinkle up to form mountains. One example of this is the
Himalayan mountains which are formed from the Indian continental plate pushing into the Eurasian
plate causing the to ruffle up into mountains.
One great example of this the Galapagos Islands which is a chain of volcanic islands located off the
coast of Ecuador. Theses islands are formed from two oceanic plates pushing against one another. The
two plates that formed this island chain are the South American and Pacific plates, the Pacific plate

How Does Gantos Use Humor In Dead End In Norvelt
In the book Dead End in Norvelt by Jack Gantos, many unexpected things happen. He uses humor in
many different ways throughout the book as a way to connect the reader to the writing. This is a low
comedy book, which means the jokes are in plain sight. Jack Gantos uses schadenfreude, incongruity
theory, and surreal comedy as a way to portray his hometown. Jack s nose bleeds are something that
were funny throughout the book. The reader first finds out about it on page 8 when it said How could I
forget? I was a nosebleeder. The moment something startled me or whenever I got over excited or
spooked about little anything blood would spray out of my nose holes like dragon flames (Gantos).
This connects to the universal truth that humiliating things happen at the worst times. It is funny
because it is so absurd and it happened at the worst times. At the beginning of the book, Jack got in
between his parents when his dad told him to mow down the corn and his mom told him to leave it.
Since he mowed down the corn, his mom grounded him for the whole summer. That is using
schadenfreude because no one would think that someone would ... Show more content on

He is one of the town s voluntary policeman. Whenever someone pictures it, they would burst out

down Miss Volkers sister s house, he tried to catch up to them on his tricycle. This type of humor is
called the incongruity theory. It is when you put two things together that aren t usually together, like

The PC cell contains state of the art robotics equipment requiring little human intervention. The
equipment is designed to select the component parts while still packaged, load its feeder bins, and
automatically insert the components into PC boards based on a computerized XY insertion program.
There is also a JIT stockroom facility near the production areas, and a separate MRP system. Parts
purchased for the 440A must meet special JIT requirements. Suppliers are requested to use bar coded
labels to identify their shipments for optical wanding into inventory, and the automatic equipment
requires specially designed packaging tubes and parts for taping for autoinsertion of PC components.
Furthermore, the delivery of most JIT parts must be weekly (instead of usual monthly delivery), in
order to maintain a minimum of inventory in the stockroom. Deliveries must be highly reliable to
prevent stockouts and line shutdowns. The parts that Carl is considering resourcing are four integrated
circuits (ICs), seven diodes, and three transistors. These parts are all low cost, industry standard parts,
with the exception of five of the diodes, which are manufactured by only one company, Monitor Inc.
Monitor is the industry leader in diodes and transistors and supplies Acacia with quality parts at
competitive prices for other plotters. While the 440A was still in the design phase, Carl and the

The Rising Of The Decembrist Russia
The rising of the Decembrist Russia was due to a confusion over the next succession. In 1825,
Alexander I died suddenly. Alexander s younger brother, Constantine, who was next in line, had no
desire to assume the throne of such a burdensome empire, so he gave his right of succession to his
brother Nicholas. Nicholas, however, had been left unaware of the official details of the change and on
learning of Alexander s death he proclaimed Constantine emperor at St. Petersburg, at the same time
as Constantine in Warsaw was proclaiming Nicholas. For nearly three weeks in December 1825 the
throne remained vacant. Russian officers and troops had come into contact with currents of liberal
thought, with new social conditions, and with new political institutions in western Europe during the
struggle against Napoleon. Upon their return home they saw that the idea of the rights of man was
regarded with contempt by their rulers, that their country by trodden under the heel of an autocracy
which made all progress impossible. As they had no legitimate means making their desires known,
they organised secret societies which agitated for reforms, including the establishment of a
constitution. These societies, afterwards called the Decembrists, were planning a widespread uprising
but, when Alexander suddenly died, resolved to take advantage of the uncertainty that existed
regarding the succession to attempt a coup d etat. But the plotters had no clear plan or organisation

Clash Of Kings Setting
As a reader objects and settings in books are key elements to make the story limpid. Without elements
such as the setting or the main objects in a book a story has no allure. A story without any key objects
would be like Texas Chainsaw Massacre without any chainsaws. Likewise a story without a setting
would be like walking through an art gallery without any art. ☺ These elements are essential whether
writing about science fiction, or writing about love, without them there is no real rhyme or reason to
the story. The book I am reading, A Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin, has vivid depictions of
the setting and objects that are key to the story. A few I will focus on will be the object Wildfire, and

men from the Night s Watch express the area beyond the Wall is as unforgiving as the Wall itself. Jon

them like a flock of dead birds. The haunted forest, Jon thought ruefully, The drowned forest, more
like it (Martin 354). The way Jon expresses the weather around him is crucial to explaining the setting.
Not only does he tell us what the place is known for he also tells us that this place has a very unique
appearance. The haunted forest gives us the illusion of dark shadows, gloomy atmosphere, and tall
trees with gnarled vines. All of these things can be explained by the one phrase. In addition to gloomy
atmosphere there is his statement about how it should be called the drowned forest which indicates
that there is probably lots of water and it is possibly raining very heavily making a dreary and gloomy
place even more so. Without these phrases to describe the setting they are in the story would be bland
and not near as exciting. If we did not have this setting there would be no nerve racking feelings or

Analysis of Mise-En-Scene in the Film American Beauty Essay
How does mise en scene create meaning and provoke response in the opening of American Beauty?
The opening scene of American Beauty shows a teenage girl lying in a bed, venting her feelings
towards her father. In this, the audience sees her in dull clothing and colours, minimal make up and
has greasy looking hair. As she sits up, her hair falls around her face and she stares directly into the
camera, giving a sense of unease to the audience.
The next shot is an establishing shot, showing the street where the main character, Leister, lives. Its
fall/autumn time and the trees are bare or dying, possibly indicating and foreshadowing a death later
on in the movie. Also the streets are very linear, all vertical and in uniform, as it were. ... Show more

This opening introduces the family s lifestyle and sets the scene for the audience, from the shot
following Leister s shower, the audience gets the sense that the wife is the head of the house as she
gardens in a bright, contemporary looking garden. The camera goes to a close up on the rose as the
woman clips it from the bush. This rose is called American Beauty which is also the name of the film.
She is dressed in a plain grey suit and a clean white apron, again fitting in with the colour scheme of
the interior decor. She also wears pearl earrings and a pearl necklace with her hair perfectly framing
this and has impeccable make up, indicating what the perfect American housewife should resemble.
She also converses with the homosexual neighbours about the secret to her roses flourishing so well;
she seems happy and overly enthusiastic. The audience then see a shot of Leister, again, enclosed in an
environment this time the window. The audience sees him behind the window panes, in between two
bright blue shutters, indicating his isolation and loneliness within his own home. The colour blue is
also an interesting choice by the director. Blue suggests calm and tranquillity within the home, and
also reflects on the colour of the perfect blue sky. Leister seems to fit in as he reflects on his own life
and his past happiness, and also seems unsettled within himself, contrasting to the

Physics of Basketball
Physics takes part in our everyday lives without us even recognizing it. In simple every day functions
like when we walk, how our vehicles function properly, and even how we play sports. We go on each
day with no recognition of physics until it is pointed out to us. The concept of physics is the study of
fundamental structures and interactions in the physical universe. We learn physics to get a better
understanding of the universe and the objects in it (Ostdiek). Now, that I have given you a brief
description of what physics is and why we learn it, I am going to tell you how physics applies to
shooting a basketball.
Shooting a basketball is a simple concept. All you do is align your feet towards the goal, put the ball in
place, and then shoot; easy right? Not exactly, just because you do these steps does not mean you will
get a perfect shot every time and make the basket.
First, were going to start with setting the shot up with a dribble, most players can shoot off of the
dribble. When dribbling a basketball a shooter releases the ball towards the floor with a force that
makes the ball come back into their palm. When the force of the ball goes toward the floor with
different speeds it causes the ball to have a different velocity which can make the ball come back into
the dribblers hand much quicker. We can also look at dribbling through energy. When a shooter is
holding the basketball it has potential energy. Upon the balls release to the floor, the potential energy

Intelligence Vs Growth Mindset
Although many with a fixed mindset believe that intelligence is determined at birth, research has
shown how the brain can be developed to ultimately make someone become smarter, instantly
favoring those with a growth mindset. The way a person with a fixed mindset feels about something
like accepting feedback and constructive criticism absolutely differs from the way one with a growth
mindset would feel. Those with a fixed mindset feel threatened by feedback and may avoid it
altogether if possible due to thinking that they ll never become better ( Effective Effort Rubric )

Brain researchers have found evidence that the way a person thinks with a growth mindset actually
helps to develop their intelligence and become smarter. Scientists have formed the conclusion after
studying the brains of animals and infants that the brain s neurons multiply, get stronger, and take in
new information after being mentally challenged ( You Can Grow Your Intelligence )(Knapp). This
leads to an increased growth of dendrites that helps to speed up how fast information travels, further
leading to a faster learning process and eventually resulting to an improved intelligence. Common
habits of those with a growth mindset, like focusing on learning, practicing, and challenging
themselves mentally, is exactly what is needed to strengthen the brain. Doing things along with having

Piaget And Piaget Similarities
The human brain has always been a subject of great interest to psychologists and researches. Over the
years, many theorists have developed different models and approaches on how the mind works and
what happens behind the scene when learning occurs. Scientifically speaking, learning theorists have
been concerned about areas of psychology of learning which emphasizes human cognition or
intelligence as a special endowment enabling man to form hypotheses and develop intellectually in
other words cognitivism which is also known as cognitive development
(Teachinglearningresources.pbworks.com, 2011). Therefore, cognitive development is concerned
about how learning, problem solving and memory works along with how cultural differences affect
the way we view our own academic achievements, language development, and much more (Feldman,
2010). Two famous influential theorists of cognitivism are Jean Piaget (1896 1980) and Jerome Bruner

Why Are Fossils Important
Fossils can tell us a lot about the organisms that came before us. They are useful in dating when
certain evolutionary aspects were achieved in our past as we developed. Fossils have allowed us to
explore past civilizations and gives a major glimpse into the past. Fossils are a very important part in
the advancements of biological evolution. Biological evolution is the way scientists work to
understand the past, and to piece the puzzle of our ancestry together to understand how we have

Our Sheep System Will Be Composed Of Rambouillet And...
Our sheep system will be comprised of Rambouillet and Columbia sheep. Our vision at Wooly Bully
farms is to be a self sustaining and environmentally friendly company for our consumers, employees,
and animals. Our mission here at Wooly Bully is to implement a sustainable system in order to provide
our clients with high grade fiber, sustainable replacement ewes, and quality grade meat.
The Rambouillet was chosen over other breeds, due to the breed s ability to do well in; range
conditions, large size, use as a dual purpose breed, and fine wool they are known for. The rambouillet
originates from Spanish merinos which were sent to France to help improve herds in the country. The

when the King allowed for 359 animals to be sent to a Rambouillet farm outside of Paris. The fall of
the Spanish empire helped get more of the spanish merino bloodlines outside of Spain. The breed was
created through careful selection of fleece characteristics to maintain a breed with fine wool. Along
with maintaining fine wool the breed gained body size and conformation, which was rare for breeds

animals were sent to Germany where Rambouillet rams were used in many of flocks as the breeds
fame as a fine wooled breed spread. Many of the animals can have their ancestry traced back to the
animal from the German von

HPV_ Human Papillomavirus
If I told you that Human papillomavirus (HPV) was the most common sexually transmitted disease in
the United States and if left untreated could cause 70% of cervical cancers, would you want children

starting to be mandatory in the U.S but also because it is only mandatory for female children to get it.
Researchers claim that the cancers associated with HPV cost $3.7 billion in 2003 alone. (Source)
Cervical cancer is the second most lethal cancer to all women but should it be mandatory for only one
gender even though men can carry it as well? (source) The disease specifically affects those in poverty
and results in higher rates of cancer in black and Hispanic women. (Source) Some states are starting to
require female students in public schools to receive vaccination for HPV by the sixth grade. (Source)
When public schools become advocates for a vaccination, it tends to be a big ordeal and starts to catch
on. This virus is showing just how complex and controversial making a vaccine mandatory can be.
Parents are starting fear that making it a requirement is implicitly condoning sex before marriage or
sex with multiple partners. (source)Media is starting to show that it plays a big part as well because
during the CNN Tea party Republican presidential debate on September 13, 2011, that mandate came
under fire when candidate Michele Bachman claimed that the vaccine was dangerous

In the wake of the French revolution and King Louis XVI of France s execution in 1773, 19th century France was a time of immense political, economic and social uncertainty as new political parties competed for power and attempted to reform Frances governing systems. Due to the instabilities caused by the Napoleonic Wars a new style of architecture did not develop during Napoleons rule, resulting in the continuation of pre French Revolution classicism. With the intention of articulating imperialistic grandeur and referencing France as the new Roman Empire , an emphasis was placed on neoclassical elements and the use of columns and arches becoming more liberal. Jean Chalgrin s Arch de Triomphe provides an example of politically motivated neoclassical architecture. The triumphant arch was commissioned by Napoleon in 1806 to serve as an honorary monument and rallying point for the French military . Inspired in part by the Arch of Titus in the Roman Forum, decorative high relief sculptures celebrating military victories from the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars adorn the structure . It is evident that Napoleon believed that as an empire that had annexed and made most of Europe into its satellites, the First French Empire deserved to have its grandeur reflected by a monument that referenced one of the world s largest and most successful ancient Empires. The Minister’s Black Veil by Nathaniel Hawthorne One of literatures greatest quality is allowing the reader s mind to uncover subliminal messages in an attempt to form their own understandings and ideas. Perhaps, this particular process is commonly described in the idiom reading between the lines. While many writers have implanted this literary aspect into their works, this essay focuses on a specific parable written by Nathaniel Hawthorne entitled The Minister s Black Veil. Notably, a parable is a simple story used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson. The characters and setting of which Hawthorne uses to get his point across creates an overwhelming atmosphere that increases the power of his message. In this parable, Mr. Hooper gives an invisible element in sin a physical appearance in the black veil which now makes his sin a connection between himself, God, and the townspeople. It is apparent that Mr. Hooper is dealing with some sort of internal conflict and his way of confronting his issue is by covering his face from everyone with the black veil. Lastly, there are several themes in The Minister s Black Veil relating to topics including sin, guilt, fear, and judgment. The first theme focuses on people s reaction to change. Soon after Mr. Hooper covers his face, people secluded themselves from him and gave him bewildered stares even after he showed them courtesy. Likewise, his wife Elizabeth left him after she failed to persuade him to abandon the black veil. The narrator also explains how Mr. Hooper created a group of converts as well as how people at their deathbed would not take their last breath until they received consolation from Mr. Hooper. Strangers began to travel from long distances just to hear his sermons and gaze at his figure. Another theme found in The Minister s Black Veil is that people fear what they do not know and do not understand. The mystery of the black veil perhaps was the biggest thing that intimidated the townspeople. Mr. Hooper is overcome with the same horror as the townspeople when he catches a glimpse of himself. Subjugated by Japan in 1910, North Korea was mercilessly enslaved for thirty five years. Due to Japan s defeat in World War II in 1945, the United States occupied the southern region of the Korean Peninsula while Soviet troops seized the north. As a result communism spread like weeds. Sadly, North Korea s government, military, and economy were all by shaped by the leftist views suppressed on them. Recognizing this important marketing fact, alcohol companies deliberately devise ads designed to appeal to heavy drinkers. The heavy user of alcohol is usually an addict. Another interesting perspective on the industry s claim that it only advertises to encourage moderate drinking to those of age, is that if this were true, and only the 105 million drinkers of legal age in the US consumed the official maximum moderate amount of alcohol, .99 ounces or roughly two drinks, a day the industry would suffer a 40 percent decrease in the sale of beer, wine, and distilled spirits. Meaning that if alcohol companies truly only targeted who they claim they do, they would only be nearly cutting their profits in half. He uses humor in many different ways throughout the book as a way to connect the reader to the writing. This is a low comedy book, which means the jokes are in plain sight. Jack Gantos uses schadenfreude, incongruity theory, and surreal comedy as a way to portray his hometown. Jack s nose bleeds are something that were funny throughout the book. The reader first finds out about it on page 8 when it said How could I forget? I was a nosebleeder. The moment something startled me or whenever I got over excited or spooked about little anything blood would spray out of my nose holes like dragon flames (Gantos). This connects to the universal truth that humiliating things happen at the worst times. It is funny because it is so absurd and it happened at the worst times. At the beginning of the book, Jack got in between his parents when his dad told him to mow down the corn and his mom told him to leave it. • 28. The Rising Of The Decembrist Russia The rising of the Decembrist Russia was due to a confusion over the next succession. In 1825, Alexander I died suddenly. Alexander s younger brother, Constantine, who was next in line, had no desire to assume the throne of such a burdensome empire, so he gave his right of succession to his brother Nicholas. Nicholas, however, had been left unaware of the official details of the change and on learning of Alexander s death he proclaimed Constantine emperor at St. Petersburg, at the same time as Constantine in Warsaw was proclaiming Nicholas. For nearly three weeks in December 1825 the throne remained vacant. Russian officers and troops had come into contact with currents of liberal thought, with new social conditions, and with new political institutions in western Europe during the struggle against Napoleon. Upon their return home they saw that the idea of the rights of man was regarded with contempt by their rulers, that their country by trodden under the heel of an autocracy which made all progress impossible. As they had no legitimate means making their desires known, they organised secret societies which agitated for reforms, including the establishment of a constitution. Now, that I have given you a brief description of what physics is and why we learn it, I am going to tell you how physics applies to shooting a basketball. Shooting a basketball is a simple concept. All you do is align your feet towards the goal, put the ball in place, and then shoot; easy right? Not exactly, just because you do these steps does not mean you will get a perfect shot every time and make the basket. First, were going to start with setting the shot up with a dribble, most players can shoot off of the dribble. When dribbling a basketball a shooter releases the ball towards the floor with a force that makes the ball come back into their palm. When the force of the ball goes toward the floor with different speeds it causes the ball to have a different velocity which can make the ball come back into the dribblers hand much quicker. We can also look at dribbling through energy. When a shooter is holding the basketball it has potential energy. Upon the balls release to the floor, the potential energy is ...
