The concentration camps that were run by the Nazis during World War II can easily be labeled as one
of the most grotesque examples of cruelty in the entire world. The people that were sent to these
concentration camps were treated as less than human by the power hungry leaders of the camp. As we

The way Frankl described it made it seem as if it was one of those situations where a person responds
in a way that is not socially acceptable, but they cannot help it. In this case, the inmates found humor
in the sense that they were in disbelief that these things were happening to them and did not know how
