Reflect on findings on 
content analysis
shots 
The shot types mainly used in this music video are close ups, mid shots and two shots. 
The close ups are used to give recognition to the artist and give them credit for their 
music. I found this is very conventional through genre research. 
The mid shots were commonly used to show body language in a way that describes 
how Taylor feels. This is also something I found was conventional when I did genre 
research. 
Two shots were used when Taylor was talking to her love interest this was to emphasis 
the feelings the two had for each other.
• Typically I found out that the shot lengths are no longer than 4 seconds 
• There was 6 different scenes all in totally and they kept jumping back to 
previous scenes. 
• In totally there was 92 shots
Conclusion 
This has helped me to construct my own pop music video as it has outlined some 
conventions that I need to include to make my pop music video a conventional one. 
This has helped me recognise how many shots I will need to roughly take and they 
type of shots. Its also helped me in knowing how many scenes I should roughly 
create
