Environmentally Benign Waste
• The number one complaint filed with both state and federal environmental
regulatory agencies against animal producers involves odors.
• Aerosol ammonia is one of the primary causes of nuisance odors associated with
confined animal feeding operations.
• In addition to ammonia’s role as a component in nuisance odors, high levels of
gaseous ammonia adversely affects animal health and the safety of people
working in these environments.
Land Farming Applications
 High salt drilling fluids have resulted in the death of plants and severely
damaged soils that have failed to recover even after many decades.

 The use of clayey drilling fluids on sandy soils has improved water holding
capacity and plant growth.
 Land application is often preferred to reduce the costs of disposal and may
be conducted either on-site (where the drilling occurred) or at an off-site location.
 Petroleum hydrocarbons including oil & grease can be toxic to plants in modest concentrations either due to direct
contact or through adverse effects on soil properties.
 Total soil hydrocarbon concentrations greater than 1% have been found to be toxic to most plant species and this
level is normally considered the threshold between non-contamination and contamination.
 Soil oxygen levels are reduced because diffusion of oxygen through the oil and/or grease layer is poor and microbes
use the available oxygen as they breakdown the oil.
 Soil particles coated with oil can become hydrophobic which reduces water infiltration, drainage, storage in
the soil, and it’s availability to plants.

Highly Efficient Desalination Technology
• Absolutely no capital expense is required from you.
• Proven, consistent, & quality desalination resulting from our patent pending process.
No filters, membranes, chemicals, or pre/post water treatments.
• Water plants can be stopped at any time with a simple switch. Traditional Reverse
Osmosis plants have to be flushed first to protect membranes. This process takes time
and expenses.
• Low energy consumption and maintenance costs. Reduced operating costs allow us to
offer water at a very affordable price.
• Our plant is scalable; it is easily adjusted to the desired volume of water by simply
adding or removing structural elements (cluster topology).
• Our technology is unique, truly green, and environmentally friendly. All incoming feed
water is fully desalinated. There is no ejection of rejected water (brine) back in the sea,
which harms the environment.
ZERO LIQUID DESALINATION
Ener-Corr’s desalination process produces potable and industrial quality water with zero liquid
discharge (ZLD). It produces only solid salt as a by-product. Ener-Corr uses low-temperature
vacuum desalination to provide a simple, intelligent solution that meets regulatory pressures
and water reuse goals.
Our ZLD systems can be used for many applications and dramatically reduce the costs of brine
discharge, handling and disposal. The Ener-Corr desalination process produces high quality
water with its intrinsically ZLD process for about 25% – 30% of the cost of Reverse Osmosis (RO)
or Forward Osmosis (FO) followed by a crystallizer and/or evaporator.
Ener-Corr Technology can be used to treat the brine of existing desalination plants to eliminate
brine liquid discharge and the associated costs and environmental issues.
Oil & Gas Industry
Oil and gas prices are currently at some of the lowest in recent times and the cost of water supply, and treatment can
be the difference between profit and loss. Ener-Corr can help you significantly reduce your water costs and improve
your profitability. Ener-Corr plants have a very small foot print for mobility and reduced installation time.
With the maximum recovery of the feed water source (up to 96.5%), lowest specific energy consumption of
commercially available desalination technologies (less than 60% compared to RO) and no liquid discharge waste, Ener-
Corr can help you reduce your process costs and meet your environmental regulatory targets. Ener-Corr’s desalination
units can be used to maximize reusable water recovery from oilfield wastewater streams, after the oil separation step.
The saline produced water volume can be eliminated, lowering wastewater transport and disposal costs. Additionally,
95% or more of the produced water can be recovered as fresh water for reuse in the oil and gas extraction process.
This minimizes brine disposal cost and produces clean, high-quality water which is both good for the bottom line and
the environment.
Ener-Corr’s desalination units can treat a wide range of feed water salinities ranging from TDS levels from the 50,000
ppm salinity levels found at Eagle Ford and Niobrara-DJ Basins to the 150,000 ppm levels found in the Bakken Shale and
all the values in between such as those found in the Permian Basin, Anadarko Basin, & Marcellus Shale oilfields.

Environmentally Benign Waste • The number one complaint filed with both state and federal environmental regulatory agencies against animal producers involves odors. • Aerosol ammonia is one of the primary causes of nuisance odors associated with confined animal feeding operations. • In addition to ammonia’s role as a component in nuisance odors, high levels of gaseous ammonia adversely affects animal health and the safety of people working in these environments.
  • 6. Land Farming Applications  High salt drilling fluids have resulted in the death of plants and severely damaged soils that have failed to recover even after many decades. (Denuded oil well land in West Texas pictured on right)  The use of clayey drilling fluids on sandy soils has improved water holding capacity and plant growth.  Land application is often preferred to reduce the costs of disposal and may be conducted either on-site (where the drilling occurred) or at an off-site location.  Petroleum hydrocarbons including oil & grease can be toxic to plants in modest concentrations either due to direct contact or through adverse effects on soil properties.  Total soil hydrocarbon concentrations greater than 1% have been found to be toxic to most plant species and this level is normally considered the threshold between non-contamination and contamination.  Soil oxygen levels are reduced because diffusion of oxygen through the oil and/or grease layer is poor and microbes use the available oxygen as they breakdown the oil.  Soil particles coated with oil can become hydrophobic which reduces water infiltration, drainage, storage in the soil, and it’s availability to plants.

  • 11. Highly Efficient Desalination Technology • Absolutely no capital expense is required from you. • Proven, consistent, & quality desalination resulting from our patent pending process. No filters, membranes, chemicals, or pre/post water treatments. • Water plants can be stopped at any time with a simple switch. Traditional Reverse Osmosis plants have to be flushed first to protect membranes. This process takes time and expenses. • Low energy consumption and maintenance costs. Reduced operating costs allow us to offer water at a very affordable price. • Our plant is scalable; it is easily adjusted to the desired volume of water by simply adding or removing structural elements (cluster topology). • Our technology is unique, truly green, and environmentally friendly. All incoming feed water is fully desalinated. There is no ejection of rejected water (brine) back in the sea, which harms the environment.
  • 12. ZERO LIQUID DESALINATION Ener-Corr’s desalination process produces potable and industrial quality water with zero liquid discharge (ZLD). It produces only solid salt as a by-product. Ener-Corr uses low-temperature vacuum desalination to provide a simple, intelligent solution that meets regulatory pressures and water reuse goals. Our ZLD systems can be used for many applications and dramatically reduce the costs of brine discharge, handling and disposal. The Ener-Corr desalination process produces high quality water with its intrinsically ZLD process for about 25% – 30% of the cost of Reverse Osmosis (RO) or Forward Osmosis (FO) followed by a crystallizer and/or evaporator. Ener-Corr Technology can be used to treat the brine of existing desalination plants to eliminate brine liquid discharge and the associated costs and environmental issues.
  • 13. Oil & Gas Industry Oil and gas prices are currently at some of the lowest in recent times and the cost of water supply, and treatment can be the difference between profit and loss. Ener-Corr can help you significantly reduce your water costs and improve your profitability. Ener-Corr plants have a very small foot print for mobility and reduced installation time. With the maximum recovery of the feed water source (up to 96.5%), lowest specific energy consumption of commercially available desalination technologies (less than 60% compared to RO) and no liquid discharge waste, Ener- Corr can help you reduce your process costs and meet your environmental regulatory targets. Ener-Corr’s desalination units can be used to maximize reusable water recovery from oilfield wastewater streams, after the oil separation step. The saline produced water volume can be eliminated, lowering wastewater transport and disposal costs. Additionally, 95% or more of the produced water can be recovered as fresh water for reuse in the oil and gas extraction process. This minimizes brine disposal cost and produces clean, high-quality water which is both good for the bottom line and the environment. Ener-Corr’s desalination units can treat a wide range of feed water salinities ranging from TDS levels from the 50,000 ppm salinity levels found at Eagle Ford and Niobrara-DJ Basins to the 150,000 ppm levels found in the Bakken Shale and all the values in between such as those found in the Permian Basin, Anadarko Basin, & Marcellus Shale oilfields.
