My results show that 50% of people who answered my
questionnaire were males and 50% of people who answered
were females, this is useful because it shows that I got a range
of people to answer the questionnaire which means that all of
my results are fair and aren’t based on one gender therefore I
can use this to create a music magazine suitable for both males
and females.

My results show that 30% of the people who answered my
questionnaire were under 16 and that 70% of people who
answered my questionnaire were between the ages of 16-25,
nobody over 25 answered my questionnaire. This is useful
because more people who answered my questionnaire were
my target age range which will help me to create my magazine
so that it suits them.

My results show that the majority of people who answered
were Caucasian, however 18.52% of people answered other
then wrote that they were white/white British. I should have
made it clear to my audience that Caucasian meant white
British to avoid the confusion. Also 3.70% of people who
answered my questionnaire were British Pakistani which helps
me with my magazine as I can relate the article to those who
have a different race to me. From this question I found out that
everyone who answered were British and therefore I can
confidently make a magazine suitable for British people.

My results show me that the majority of the people who
answered my questionnaire are working class therefore when I
think about where my magazine will be sold and how much the
cost will be I am able to fit it into a price range and location

My research shows me that the people who answered my
questionnaire have a range of music taste, however the
majority of people like pop music. The second most popular
genre was indie-rock therefore I am able to fit the genre of my

From my results I have gathered that people prefer music
magazines to have between 60 and 80 pages as more then 80
pages can make the audience bored and uninterested
therefore I will make the amount of pages used in my
magazine fit between 60 and 80 pages.

I have covered a wide range of music magazines
and from my results I have found out that the
most popular magazine is KERRANG. However I
have also found out that a large majority of the
people who answered my questionnaire don’t
read magazines which will make things difficult for
me as I will have to ensure that each part of the
magazine is interesting and catches the audiences
attention so they are willing to buy it.

From my results I have found that the majority of the
people who answered my questionnaire wanted to call
the magazine ‘REVEAL’ therefore with this information

10. How Often Do You Go To Gigs?
My results show me that the majority of people
who completed my questionnaire go to gigs at
least once a year, however 33.33% of people who
answered the questionnaire never go to gigs. This
will help me when I produce my music magazine
as for one of my prizes I want to give gig tickets
away which will give the people who have never
been to a gig before the opportunity to go to one
and it will give them the experience of going to a
gig in case they decide to go to one in the future.

the latest news about all the indie-rock artists and produce a
better quality magazine each month. Also I will be able to add

Magazine Should Have?
My results show me that my audience would prefer a mixture of
bright and dark colours rather than just having a bright colour
scheme or having a dark colour scheme. By using this information I
am able to experiment with both bright and dark colours to find
which colour scheme suits my magazine the best.
