Objective
My objective is to obtain a position with a reputable company where I can maximize my management
skills, organizational skills, and sales background. I am a highly self-motivated individual who expects to
preform at a high level in anything I do.
Experience
Rent-A-Center September 2001 – Present
Account Manager- I was responsible for calling past due customers to get renewal payments. Take care
of customer service issues and help customers on the sales floor. I was also the primary “delivery guy”.
Credit Manager- As an Assistant manager I was held responsible for the entire credit department. I was
also responsible for Inventory and hitting all company standards with past due percentages.
Sales Manager- As Sales Manager I was second in command of the store behind the Store Manager. I
would be in control of growing the stores accounts and customers, which directly affects the stores
profitability. I would have to strategically telemarked customers to buy (rent to own) new merchandise. I
would have to plan brochure routes to promote new business as well. The cleanliness of the showroom
was also my responsibility, either to delegate tasks or complete myself.
Store Manager- As a Store Manager I am responsible for the overall performance of the store. I am in
charge of monitoring and reducing over-time usage by my employees. I also am responsible for
completing a Profit and Loss report monthly. Plan the day-to-day activities. I am also responsible for the
training activities that take place in the store.
Education
Woodrow Wilson High School (Los Angeles, CA) Graduating Class Of 1999
I earned my general requirements for graduation. I also played sports like football and basketball. I was
chair and or co chair in a few extracurricular student clubs.
Skills
I am extremely knowledgeable with computers and many programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint. I have management and organizational skills. I am skilled in customer service situations. I’m
also talented in sales and collections procedures.
