2.  To attract my young female target audience, I employed a number of
techniques from my research. Initially when researching a suitable
typeface for my masthead I looked at serif fonts, this is because they
are normally associated with femininity, I initially thought this
would draw my target audience in, however after student feedback
and experiments with different texts I concluded that a bolder font
along with a bright colour would be suitable as this just as equally
would entice my target readership.

3.  Within my media text I employed a number of images of
females this again would attract my readership as they
would be seeing females reflected in a positive light with
their genre of particular interest. By the females in my
magazine also dressing in on trend clothing would also
lure them in. My typeface and main image working
simultaneously with my masthead would also entice my
target audience as it has a unusual look about it.

4.  My front page main image consists of my model
positioned in front of a graffitied background, this
would attract my audience as many artists have
performed in front of such a setting in hip-hop videos,
graffiti would strongly connote hip- hop.

5.  To bond with my audience I addressed them with
colloquial terminology, this makes my media texts
seem more genuine and would appeal to my audience.
