Ashleigh will create a fashion and celebrity gossip magazine targeting older teenage and young adult females. The 4-page magazine will include celebrity interviews, fashion content, and a regular column covering various topics. To appeal to her target audience, Ashleigh will feature a popular celebrity around their age on the cover along with enticing text. She aims to make the £2 magazine affordable while still providing value through its content. Ashleigh will take various photos for the magazine and design the layout and logo using Adobe software.

Synopsis of Idea The genre of the magazine I will be creating is Celebrity Gossip and High
(content, narrative, street fashion the reason for my genre is because I wanted something that I
genre) liked and knew about as it will be easier for me to write about and I will
enjoy doing it. There will be a cover, a contents page, a back and then four
pages inside the magazine my pages will include things such as interviews
with celebrities, a page for fashion, a page talking about all different
celebrities and regular features, this will mainly consist of having a column
that is featured weekly, where they will cover all different up to date
subjects.
Target Audience? For my audience I have chosen to target females, that are older teenagers
(demographic NOT and perhaps maybe young adults this is because of the genre I have chosen
age range) it is something that women are more interested in rather than men and
with colour schemes, images and layout will be more attractive to women
of the age range I have chosen. The reason I have chosen this target
audience is because it is what I would come under so I think that I would be
better at this because I can relate more and have a better understanding
and feel for what they will like.
Target Audience As I have picked quite a young aged audience they will need the magazine
Needs? quite cheap to be affordable for them. They will want lots of information
given on the cover to reassure them that they are getting their money’s
worth as they will see that they will find out lots of information. They will
want someone on the front cover that they like as this will attract them
towards the magazine and make them want to buy it, such as a celebrity
that is close to their age.
How will your project I will be making the magazine affordable for them so will have the
meet the needs of magazine at maybe £2. Although it is a young audience being teenagers it is
your target audience? an older type of teenagers so I will be making the magazine look a little

content you think will cover will attract a younger audience, so I will be using maybe just one
appeal to your target image as the background image that will feature a celebrity that is maybe
audience) round the same age as my target audience and is popular amongst them as
that will straight away attract them to look at the magazine then I will
include some cover lines that will draw them in to make them want to buy
the magazine and read it.
What production I will be doing a photo shoot of all differ rent types of images with different
techniques will you subjects, such as; people, clothes, makeup, etc. I will use a range of
use to realise your different angles depending on what I am photographing at that specific
project? time.
I will do the layout for my magazine including the logo for my magazine on
Adobe Illustrator and the layout on Photoshop.
