2. WHO IS THE AUDIENCE?
This is Izzie, she is 17
years old, single, is in
sixth form and has a
part time job in the
shop Urban Outfitters.

3. Her favourite music artists are The Vaccines, Hozier, Foals, Royal
Blood, The Maccabees, Coldplay and Nirvana.

4. The last album that she bought was Coldplay’s new album A Head
Full of Dreams. Izzie likes to go to concerts to see her favourite
artists and tries to go to as many as she can. Izzie also loves
going to music festivals with her friends.
The last festival she went to was the Isle of White festival.
The last concert that she went to was The 1975.

5. HOW HAVE I ATTRACTED THE
AUDIENCE TO THE MAGAZINE?
To attract the target audience to the
magazine I used names of artists that
are associated with the genre rock. By
doing this, the audience will recognize
the type of magazine that it is. Also, by
saying ‘An exclusive interview with
Hozier’ people that are fans of him will
want to read what he says and people
who do not know who he is will want to
find out more about him. By advertising
a competition on the front cover to meet
their favourite bands it will encourage
people to buy the magazine so they can
enter the competition.

6. So that the target audience will want to
read the magazine I included rock
artists in the contents for the magazine.
By using a lot of different rock artists
names on the contents page people that
are fans of rock music will be able to
look through the artists to see if there is
anyone that they like to listen to and
might want to read about. I also
included an image taken by me at a
George Ezra concert, I used this image
so that I could say that there is a
George Ezra gig review. People that
have seen George Ezra or want to see
him will be able to read it to see what it
is like. There is also an image of
Georgia Fawl, I included this image
because she is the main feature of the
magazine and because she is not yet
very famous people could be interested
in who she is and what she is like.

7. The article that I wrote is a question and
answer, I think that the target audience
will be interested in reading that because
the are able to learn more about the
artist. The language that I used in the
article is suitable for the target audience
because it is not too formal and it is not
very informal. It is easy to understand the
questions and the answers and has been
written in a language the target audience
would be used to.
