Internet We used the internet during the initial stages of production to research dieting and diet pills so that we asked the right questions and knew what the most interesting topics to cover would be
Microsoft Word & Excel We used Microsoft word and excel to construct the questionnaire and to create the scripts, running lists and to type out the codes and conventions work we did at the start of the year
Tripod To ensure we took good shots and framed the interviews correctly we used a tripod which the camera screws onto to keep it secure
Video Camera While filming my media product I used the college camera’s to film my media product the camera’s are of a high standard and allow a microphone to be used in conjunction with them
Attachable microphone In addition to the video camera I used the college’s microphone to capture audio for the interviews which was then laid on top of the video in the editing stage
Stills Camera Part of the course required that we show evidence of our filming and of the filming process, we showed this by taking stills with a stills camera during filming
Radio Studio We used the colleges radio studio to record the voice over for our media product, we also used the studio to record sound effects and the radio trailer which was part of the ancillary products
My Blog Throughout the production, filming and editing stages of my media product I have recorded my progress and my work on a Blog, I registered with Blogger.com a popular website often used for peoples personal Blogs
Adobe Premier Pro During the editing stage I used premier pro a piece of software which allows you to edit video and sound clips and rearrange them into a tangible order
Adobe Photoshop  We used adobe Photoshop to design the printed advert that would appear at bus stops and on other public advertising forums

Question 4 evaluation

  • 1. Internet We used the internet during the initial stages of production to research dieting and diet pills so that we asked the right questions and knew what the most interesting topics to cover would be
  • 2. Microsoft Word & Excel We used Microsoft word and excel to construct the questionnaire and to create the scripts, running lists and to type out the codes and conventions work we did at the start of the year
  • 3. Tripod To ensure we took good shots and framed the interviews correctly we used a tripod which the camera screws onto to keep it secure
  • 4. Video Camera While filming my media product I used the college camera’s to film my media product the camera’s are of a high standard and allow a microphone to be used in conjunction with them
  • 5. Attachable microphone In addition to the video camera I used the college’s microphone to capture audio for the interviews which was then laid on top of the video in the editing stage
  • 6. Stills Camera Part of the course required that we show evidence of our filming and of the filming process, we showed this by taking stills with a stills camera during filming
  • 7. Radio Studio We used the colleges radio studio to record the voice over for our media product, we also used the studio to record sound effects and the radio trailer which was part of the ancillary products
  • 8. My Blog Throughout the production, filming and editing stages of my media product I have recorded my progress and my work on a Blog, I registered with Blogger.com a popular website often used for peoples personal Blogs
  • 9. Adobe Premier Pro During the editing stage I used premier pro a piece of software which allows you to edit video and sound clips and rearrange them into a tangible order
  • 10. Adobe Photoshop We used adobe Photoshop to design the printed advert that would appear at bus stops and on other public advertising forums
