1. Evaluation task 4 How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

2. Canon IXUS 300, Apple MAC with Mouse, Keyboard and speakers. The hardware that I used are all pictured in this slide. I decided to use the Apple mac because I really liked using the iMovie software that was built into it. The speakers were a great help because this meant that I could get each shot lined up with the music and I could clearly hear everything going on. The camera that I used was brilliant and I made use of the unique super slow motion setting that was on it.. It was very robust and easy to use. I could easily connect the camera up to the computer and then get to work on the editing process. This influenced my project greatly as I included some slow motion shots into my video.

3. Blogger.com I used a Blog to showcase my work to the world. Firstly had to set up an account that did not take long at all. After a while I got used to the interface and could play around with my blog design. I could post blogs easily and also receive comments on the work that I have done. I cod link up blogger to all sorts off different websites such as Facebook, slide share and YouTube.

4. Slide share Website I also set up a slide share account so that the work that I did could be easily linked up to my Blogger website. I found the slide share website extremely simple to use and I would have my Slideshows uploaded on there within seconds. I could then easily link these slideshows onto my blog available for everyone to see.

5. You Tube I used YouTube to finally showcase my Music video to the world. This is what professional record labels do as well they will make a YouTube channel and upload their videos onto it. The video took about 20 mins to upload and then it was ready for the world. I can also receive comments on this video so I can see what other people think about my video and what they did or did not like.

6. iMovie I used iMovie on the Apple mac to edit and arrange my music video. I found it extremely simple to use and the results that I would end up with were better than I expected. I could easily transfer my videos to iMovie and then when I was finished or if I wanted to show people certain parts I could easily import the video into ITunes very quickly. The transition effects on this software were very good and I had a wide range to choose from and i could even edit them as well.

7. Facebook I used Facebook to promote my video so that I could get some feedback on it. I posted my video up on to Facebook then people would comment on the video saying what was good and what was bad. Facebook was also very good for arranging dates and times for my actor to come and do some filming for the video.
