WHAT KIND OF MEDIA INSTITUTION
MIGHT DISTRIBUTE YOUR MEDIA
PRODUCT AND WHY?
My media product might have been distributed
by a big media distributing company, for
example IPC media. IPC media is a company that
could help advertise my magazine, so that it
would reach out to people that would be
interested in my magazine. This means IPC
would help my magazine to market and evolve.
WHAT KIND OF MEDIA INSTITUTION
MIGHT DISTRIBUTE YOUR MEDIA
PRODUCT AND WHY?
I have chosen IPC media since they are one of the biggest
media institution in the UK, which is were I plan on
producing my magazine and the majority of my target
audience is here. They are also known to be a reliable
institution because they distributes popular magazine in
United Kingdom such as NME, who have a great reputation
and are well know in the UK. Therefore, I would choose IPC
media because the are could publicize my magazine, since
they have a good reputation of delivering their services.
However, my magazine would be a new in the industry
meaning I wouldn’t be advertise widely and sold for less,
meaning my product is like to be sold at store and
newsagents. But this institution would be very useful in
helping my product to grow.
