Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

2. A production company is the people that provides the main parts of the film.
When associated with TV programs or films they would provide quite a big
amount of money for the film depending on the amount of money they supply will
determine the budget.
The production company determines who the cast is going to be, the location
recce. They will have put together a story board so that they have it visually too
follow. Budgeting the film will come with making sure there is finance to over
everything. Budgeting everything to make sure that the cost is split evenly.
3. Distribution company is one of the 4 elements when it comes to making a film.
The distribution part is when the product is made and then made available for use
and or consumption.
Advertising and marketing come within distribution and marketing. Trailer will be
make and shown, these comes along with posters and publicity. Online advertising
will also happen so the word is spread as much as it can. Radio will be used for talk
shows and have it broadcasted.
They will then sell the film to cinemas and do either a platform or blanket release.
platform release is when it is released it a few cinemas but blanket release is when
it is released in all cinemas.
4. Warner Bros. is a major
distribution company, it
distributes some of the well
known blockbusters such as
Harry Potter and many
more.
As this is such a well known
distribution company they
also distribute TV programs
such as friends and also the
big bang theory alone with
others.
5. Icon Film Distribution is a
distribution company that
distributes films from independent
film companies. It is one of the
most well-known distributers for
independent films in the UK. It gets
around 150million at box office. It
has around 200 titles behind their
business some of the most
successful/ well known films are
paranormal activity and what
women want.
6. I think that I film would suit to be distributed by a independent distribution
company. This is because it would not fit with being distributed by a large
company such as Warner Bros. it would not being distributed by a big film
company as it is a low profile film and also very low budget.
Film distribution company's such as Icon would suit our film well as they
distribute many of independent films and make them do well t box office.
If our film was distributed by a big ompany such as Warner Bros then it would
not be as successful because although it is associated with a big company it is not
high concept enough.
7. Marketing strategies make films more known. The best way to spread the news
about our film would be to use the internet.
Because of the age that our film is aimed at it would make sense to spread the
word about it on websites that they use such as twitter and Facebook.
The word of mouth will be very useful to help spread the word about our film
because if people give it good ratings it will encourage more people to want too
see it and increase the number of people that will see it.
If we are represented by a independent company then the film would be put into
cinemas using a platform release and putting it into a few cinemas.
