1. How did you use NEW MEDIA
TECHNOLOGIES in the CONSTRUCTION,
RESEARCH, PLANNING and EVALUATION
stages of your project?

2. Research
 For the research part of my project I used lots of different new media
technologies such as:
 Google – for research on theorists, real magazine advert examples and
digipak examples.
 You Tube – I used this to look at examples of past students music videos
to gain inspiration and also real music videos made by real artists.
 PowerPoint – I also used this to look at other information recorded by
previous students and to record the information that I learned.
 Computers/laptops – I did all my research on computers and laptops.

3. Planning
 For the planning stage of my project I have used the new media
technologies that I have used in the research stage but I have also used
some more new media technologies such as:
 Word Press - I used this blog website to record the things that I have
learned and kept everyone up to date with what I was working on
throughout the project.
 Prezi – I used prezi as another form of recording the information that I
have learnt, such as about the theory of Andrew Goodwin.
 Slide-share – I used slide share to make my powerpoints more accessible
and more presentable to put on blog, by using this it also means that
future students can look at the work that I have done and be inspired by
it.
 I also use PowerPoint and YouTube, like I did in the research stage

4. Construction
 For the construction of my music video I used these new media
technologies:
• Imovie – I used this to edit and produce my music video.
• YouTube – I put my music video on YouTube so that everyone could see
it.
• Cameras – I used cameras to record my music video and to take photos
for the digipak and the magazine advert.
• PowerPoint – I used this to create the digipak and the magazine advert.
• Mac computers – I used these to create the music video on as this was
where imovie was installed.

5. Evaluation
 For my evaluation these are all the new media technologies that I have
used:
 Prezi – I used prezi to answer question 1 of my evaluation questions.
 YouTube – I used youtube to answer question 3 of my evaluation as I
used a short film to answer the question.
 Imovie – I also used this to answer question 3 as I used it to edit the clips
I recorded.
 PowerPoint – I used this to answer question 2 and this evaluation
question.
 WordPress – I used this blog website to put all these evaluation questions
on for everyone to look at them.
