• Brings discipline in the store.
• Everyone must be motivated to take the ownership of their
responsibilities.
• Workers must be motivated towards betterment.
• Senior management must do a periodic check.

• The more demanded products are kept in the upper shelf and
less demanded inthe lower shelf.
• Reduces motion waste, searching waste and waste of human
energy.
• Safety and Security are the two aspects that comes with the
proper implementationofall the5 processes.
• Improved motivation among the workers and increased
productivity.
• A lot of space is being saved which means a opportunity to
put in more products as well as larger aisle area for the
customers.
• The life of equipments and the products at the store improves
significantly.
LESSONS LEARNED
• 5S processes can be implemented in any area of day to day
lifefor better outcomes.
• A lot of waste can be reduced usingthese processes.
• Co-ordination among the employees and their productivity
improves.
