1. Project: NAKILAT Ship Repair yard, Ras laffan Industrial city Qatar
Contractor: DAEWOO E&C (March 2011 – February 2012)
This project mainly comprises of below projects at onsite fabrication shop:
• Supply, Fabrication and installation of Structural and Miscellaneous items.
• Supply & Application of Painting/Coating works
Responsibilies:
• To identify the requirements, quality standards as per Project specification
• Participation of pre-inspection meetings with Client, Contractor and TPI for formulating the
ways of inspection with the approved inspection test plan.
• Preparation of different types of documentation, inspection formats and review final as
built drawings.
• Visual and DFT checking inspection of painting and wrapping application on all piping
components and preparing its inspection reports.
Welding
• Witness inspection of incoming (store) and outgoing material & Monitoring of material
traceability.
• Preparation of Welding Procedure Specification (WPS).
• Monitoring all welding activities as per approved WPS.
• Co- ordination with client and client inspector.
• Visual inspection of consumables by verifying MTC as per Filler Metal Application List
(FMAL).
• Witness of Welder Qualification Test.
• Witnessing Positive material identification & Hardness test.
• Capable of preparing weld history or summary sheet.
• Co-ordination with NDT technician and review of all NDT procedures including NDT
personal qualifications.
• Carried out inspection for fabrication/Set up/Welding and verified approved drawing
during inspection stages for the equipments such as vessels, heat exchangers, boilers.
• Maintain control records for welding consumable and welder performance record.
• Visual Inspection Before, during & after Welding.
• Witness daily Welding, PWHT, PMI, Hardness and NDT (RT, PT, MT & UT) activities.
• Monitor weld repair rate & implement corrective action to reduce the repair rate.
• Review and endorsed Quality documents after acceptance with relevant specifications and

Painting/Coating
• Responsible for monitoring and recording painting activities as required by the
Specification, Inspection & Test plan, and witnessing each stage till final inspection.
• Execute Painting/coating inspection work as per company/project inspection test plan.
• Monitor weather condition for surface preparation and painting/coating application.
• Hot dip galvanizing coating inspection in galvanizing plant.
• Review of calibration status of painting/coating gauges.
• Verification of Technical data sheets compliance with the specification.
• Verification of Paint materials shelf life, pot life, & Paints mixing ratio. Before paint
application paint system is verified according to client requirements.
• Check the residual surface chlorides before and after blasting.
• Check the blasting pressure at nozzle by using Hypodermic needle gauge.
• Witnessing WFT measurements during coating application.
• Visual Inspection of coating surface and DFT measurement including various standard
adhesion tests as per approved coating procedure/ITP.
• Inspection of surfaces after blasting (both abrasive blast & Water jetting blast)
• Check profile height by using Testex tape & Calibrated micrometer.
• Issuance of NCR’s for Violations found during inspection.

• Responsible for preparation, Compilation and hand-over of all documentation from daily,
weekly, monthly, stage wise reports to final acceptance report. Holiday testing and DFT
checking of internal tanks.
2. Project: Lusail CP 3A phase 2 & CP 5B, Lusail city, Doha, Qatar (Fab shop)
Contractor: SAMSUNG C&T (February 2012 – August 2014)
• Supply & Fabrication of Temporary steel works for Suspension bridge.
• Supply, Fabrication & Installation of Mono-rail inside the tunnel.
• Supply, Fabrication & Installation of Miscellaneous works.
Responsibilities:
• Participation of meetings with client (Dorsch Qatar) and contractor for the quality
development of project.
• Suggestion of methods / procedures to improve the quality of working during kick off
meeting.
• Preparation of material approval submittal according to project specification
• Verifying incoming Raw materials which are coming to fab-shop for material identification
and Heat No. identification.
• Monitoring and preparing all the inspection carrying out in fab-shop as per fabrication
drawings.
• Had an important role in factory inspection done by Lusail Authority and Dorsch Qatar.
3. Project: Lusail Expressway, Doha Qatar (Fab Shop)
Contractor: HYUNDAI (February 2012 – August 2014)
• Supply & Fabrication of baseplate, stub and Arch accompanying all steel works. (Quality
Development stage)
• Supply & Fabrication of Single & Double Upthrust head for pre-tensioning the precasts
used. (Completed)
• Lusail Expressway utility hanging Structures. (Ongoing)
Responsibilities:
• Preparing weld procedure specification and procedure qualification record as per project
specification.
• Monitoring and preparing all the inspection carrying out in fab-shop as per fabrication
drawings.
• Reviewing and monitoring the project to consolidate the project specific requirements
related to quality of product, including the material requirements related to raw material,
Fabrication, Welding, NDE, Testing etc.
• Preparing work flow plan to improve quality of product according to project specification.
