The document discusses the various digital platforms and tools the blogger used to complete a course project. 1. Blogger
I Used various forms of digital platforms starting from
my planning to my production. Firstly blogger was one
of the main sources I used to help guide me through my
course as most of my work was uploaded on to blogger,
as this is one of the ways I can access my work and
make a few edits. I also enjoyed using blogger as it can
embed a range of different digital platforms like prezzi
and slide share.
I found that I experienced technical difficulties with
uploading the pictures as the Blogger requires it to be a
specific width.

2. Prezzi
• Prezzi was used to explain and display the
majority my research. I found this software
easy to use and you are able to edit your work
easier. Prezzi was favoured more than Power
Point as it has more animations and more
variety of styles.

3. Slide share
• I used Slide Share to convert my Power Point
slides for my blog which was useful as Blogger
does not accept Power Point slides.

4. I phone
• My I phone was used to upload some
photographs to my laptop for Digipak and
poster advert.

5. Digital camera
I used a Nixon digital camera for the filming of
the video. The filming was carried out by my
project partner Casey. To upload the video and
camera shots I had to download the Nixon
application to enable this. I found the
application easy to use and upload.

6. Digital Editing like Final Cut
For this I used Movie Maker to edit the music
video. It helped to trim the video, lip sync and
helped me play the song over the video. I
found this application easy to use.

7. Pic Monkey
• I used Pic Monkey to create the digipak and
poster advert. This platform provided me with
fonts and trimming the picture and enable me
to overlay such as barcodes and online store
logos on the poster and album cover.
• The difficulties I found with Pic Monkey was
that you are unable to edit your work once it
was saved.

8. Internet sites
• Websites used were Google for research
purposes for my digital, poster advert and video
production.
• You Tube was used to upload the video and
analyse other music videos to make comparisons.
• I found that with editing your music video on You
Tube you would have to wait an hour before the
editing is processed.
