The mac was used extensively during pre-production to access the internet for research and organize findings, and during production to store footage and images for assembling three products using software. Premiere was used to edit video and was a new program, while Photoshop was more familiar and used for designing a Digipak. Wix was utilized as an online and intuitive website builder to create the website, while Prezi, Google Slides, and Emaze were online presentation tools used during research and evaluation. Originally a stills camera was planned for stop motion and a video camera for other parts, but it was discovered they produced a mismatching ratio, so the video camera was used for the entire project in film mode for non

1. Apple Mac
The mac was the most used piece of hardware during the
project, in the pre-production stage it provided access to the
internet to source information and online tools to organize and
present our findings. While in production we used it to store
footage and images necessary for assembling our three
products using software on the computer.

2. Software
Premiere was use to edit the video, this was a new
programme as we’d only used Final Cut before this,
however it was a powerful tool which allowed us to carry out
the editing techniques we’d envisioned.
Photoshop was a tool we were more familiar with and was
utilised when executing the Digipak design.

3. Online Tools
For the website design we utilised Wix, an online website maker which
was simple and intuitive to use, yet still powerful enough to achieve the
results we wanted.
During research and evaluation we used online presentation tools, such
as; Prezi, Google Slides (What I’m using right now!), and Emaze. These
were all useful in presenting our ideas and concepts.

4. Digital Stills Camera
Originally we planned to only use a digital stills camera for
Stop motion and use a specialised moving image camera for
the rest of the video. However, we discover if used both
cameras the ratio wouldn’t match, so we used the moving
image camera for the entire video, using the film option to
capture the non-stop motion parts.
