Image Blogspot To present all our work All stages BlogSpot allowed us to present all out work every week, this kept us very organised as all our work was in one place and could easily be accessible as it could be viewed from anywhere with the internet. Glogster Used as an online brain storm and mood board. Pre-production I felt that Glogster was very valuable and effective as it allowed us to place all our initial ideas in one online place. This was used as a sort of initial plan for our project as we showed what similar music, videos and colour scheme etc we would be using. It also allowed the audience to have an understanding of our preliminary ideas.

All stages YouTube allowed us to upload all our videos to the world wide web again this meant that these could be viewed from any internet source and easy access. Uploading on YouTube meant that we could reach a much larger audience could be reached. Survey Monkey Online survey Pre-production The use of the online survey allowed us to gather results and opinions much faster then it would be on pen and paper. It also allowed us to quickly understand the results as they can be easily processed into graphs.

Image Panasonic GS320 Camcorder To film our footage Production This camcorder had its advantages and disadvantages; it was effective in terms of ease of recording our footage directly to tape and also was very portable. I was disappointed with unreliability of the screen as it did not give an accurate view of the footage as when uploaded on the Mac the footage came out darker this meant that some good footage could not be used at all. Flip Camera To take still images Production This was very effective as it was light weight and portable and gave high quality images on a small device.
5. Technology Why was it used? What stage of production? How effective was this technology? Image Tripod Used as a stand for our camera and camcorder. Production This was very effective as it allowed us to gold the camera in a fixed position which allowed us to get very effective shots at different heights; also it was very portable so it could be taken with us to all our filming locations. Red head lighting To give a red background light. Production We used this during our studio scene it allowed to give the red ‘on air’ ‘live’ recording feel during this scene.

Post production Final cut express was the most crucial software used as this is what we used to edit our footage and make our music video. It has a lot of features which allowed us to add many effects to our music video. On effect which I liked very much was that we could add movement to our still footage. Macromedia fireworks To create our Digipack and magazine advert. Production This was very effective at creating our digipack and magazine advert. We could edit images and add effects which was very useful. Scribd To upload our documents Evaluation Scribd allowed us to upload our documents such as Microsoft word and PowerPoint to be viewed which is useful for easy access to these files.
