3. I used the same layout for
the text, I think it looked
effective and eye
catching, but makes the
audience concentrate
more on the characters
which is the effect I
wanted to go for.
I used the gradient
background to make the
text stand out more at the
bottom but was still able
to have an effective
background at the top.
I also used the same poses for
the characters, your eye is
drawn to the front model who
looks a bit scary, I also used
the layout of where the
models are set on frame. This
was you can see all three of
them so you know who to
connect with in the film

5. I changed the font of Guilt
Trip and my tag line to link
more to my genre where as
Star Treck looks more sci-fi.
I changed the layout
slightly of the steeltong as I
felt mine fit better straight
across

6. CHALLENGE…

7. I changed to colour
scheme completely as I
thought the blue looked a
little to surreal for my
social realist/thriller. So I
stuck to normal colours
but made it darker, turned
up the contrast and
added a purple/orange
filter.
I decided to not go with the
plain white background as I
wanted to make mine look a
littler darker/spookier so went
with using the difference
clouds effect and added a
purple filter.
I decided to add my
production company logos
as it did seem to be a
convention over other film
posters, I think it fills up the
space better at the bottom
so looks more professional
