In this presentation, I will be showing the three main poster drafts that I have
edited.

2. Original picture
These photographs were
edited on Photoshop. When
editing this photograph, I used
a lighting effect to add a
circular darkness around the
picture to help signify the
genre. When doing this I made
sure to leave enough space at
the top and bottom for
taglines, titles and release
dates etc.
I also added brightness to the
bathroom area to make the
scene blinding and
overwhelming which
exaggerates the situation we
see the character is in.
I believe by placing the
protagonist to the side shows
he is unaware of the
forthcoming events which can
create tension for the viewers.
I think this and the second
picture is the strongest out of
the poster ideas as it creates
tension and has genre signifiers
from the use of mise en scene.
To improve, I think blurring and
distorting effects would help
show the psychological side of
the film. However, I would not
want to give too much away.

3. I think the strength of this picture
is that it is more up close and
reveals more detail unlike the first
one.

4. For this picture, I decided
to make it more black and
white to create the idea of
blurred reality and time.
However, I think this image
is the weakest because of
the camera positioning and
different direction of
editing style.
